Pros (+) Staff was very friendly and the location was very close to the lake and also have a beach pass for the private beach, and was a very short walk to casinos. My family and I were very pleased with the service and hotel.

Cons (-) Heater took nearly 4 hours to heat up the room. I had to sleep in my clothes because it was so cold. Bad was awfully uncomfortable.
Cons (-) Noone present at check-in desk, noone answered phone, had to find other room 30 miles away
Pros (+) The Location is awesome, you just can’t beat it for the price. For the Price per night I’m not complaining at all but they need to fix up the rooms and clean up the place.
Cons (-) The place is really really - but really old, could use a Serious Remodel - retro room, appliances, bathrooms, furniture etc... everything squeaks when you walk, you can hear everyone in every other room too.

Waste of time trying to get Internet to work. Terrible picture on satellite TV. Sorry, but I hope this helps someone else avoid the disappointment that we experienced

Cons (-) There was no lamp close to my bed. So I had to walk to the nearest switch to turn on/off my lights. There is no one at front desk in the morning until 9 am.
Pros (+) The place is literally a block away from california nevada stateline. Very accessible to heavenly ski resort which is very nice place to go. Since its at the border of california and nevada, you can walk couple of blocks and you'll be at nevada side, which means, you can gamble.
Cons (-) The room needs renovation. Not bad for the value but definitely could be better. There are few lodges/motels/hotels that surrounds the place itself and therefore i think makes the owner dont bother to renovate the place. Since the lodge is very close to thr lake and a block away from nevada, it is very convinient and stay from.
