Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests overwhelmingly praise the hotel's central location, making it convenient for exploring the city. Many also highlight the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, as well as the friendly staff in several reviews. However, the breakfast offering is a major point of dissatisfaction, with guests consistently describing it as minimal, repetitive, and not worth the price. Some guests also mention issues with room size and occasional service lapses, but the positives of location and cleanliness stand out overall.

Wonderful
Anonymous, Apr 2019
Pros (+) We were able to check in early and check out late, which gave us a lot of flexibility. The staff was very professional and helpful. The location is great. The rooms are smaller than today’s hotels, but typical of older buildings—especially in San Francisco. We’ll absolutely stay there again.
Cons (-) The shower could use a revamp. The floor pan was old and chipped in a lot of places and the shower door (though new) had issues with the track and wouldn’t close completely.
