The pool is nice and the area around the site is nice. Coffee is good. You need swimming hats for the pool, or you can’t use it otherwise. €3.00 each or bring your own. You need to pay for towels for the bathroom €3.00 for a big towel and €2.00 for a small, which is not too bad. I did bring my own beach towels. Not all the Bungalows have kitchens so I would make sure you pick the one that dose if you want to make tea and coffee etc...as you won’t want to eat at the restaurant all the time. Reception staff very helpful.
Staff in the restaurant not so good. Waited 25 minutes to be seated , no one even noticed you they just keep walking past which I thought was strange and then 15 mins just to get menus , 15 minutes for our ordered to be taken, we seemed to be in there for ages and with children not so good, there were only 4 other tables in the restaurant , not sure how they would cope if it had been busy. We didn’t eat there again.
Highly reccomended property to relax and enjpy the vacation. I like the ambiance of the place and most of all the friendly staff of the Happy Village.
Maybe, play area. They dont have a play area for the adult.
The helpfulness from the front office was excellent. With information, suggestions or whatever they were very good. The free shuttle to catch the train to a Rome was a great help.
This was such a horrible place to stay!!! Unless you are a local and going camping don't bother. They have restrictions on the pool as it is closed during the hottest time of the day. The restaurant/market staff barely speak English and they are very unhelpful!!! The food at the restaurant is terrible also and way to expensive for what it is. They charge you $20 to change the sheets unless you have been sleeping there for a week. I have gone to a lot of campgrounds but this one had to be the worst!!! The only positive thing was the lady that checked us in had a pleasant personality.
The staff were excellent especially our bus driver, a very good, kind and patient man. It was very cosy and comfortable, and not being too far outside of the city centre was wonderful because we could enjoy both worlds. The city life and the nature life. Lots of greenery and great weather. I would highly recommend Happy Village as a great place to stay. Another good thing which suited us was that they had certain times when "noise" was not allowed, this was so nice especially if you are not the party type and just want to get away and relax and have some quiet time. I will definitely stay again. Thank you all so much. Great work, keep it up!!
Not too much choice of food in the restaurant.
