Very nice reception, immaculately clean, comfortable bed.
We really enjoyed the breakfast- it was excellent
Noisy at night as guests came in real late and were very loud in the hallway
The Nicest Quality Inn I have stayed at so far. The Soup in the evenings is a very nice touch. Here in the Pacific Northwest the evenings are cool. Nice to come back to the Room after being out all day and have something warm to eat and right there.
The neighborhood is not good. A lot of homeless. I don't think there is anything you can do about that.
We arrived after dark and at first the neighborhood seemed a little sketchy. However, in the light of day it was much better. We could walk right out of our room and sit at a picnic table with a view of the water. The room was clean and fairly up to date. Breakfast onsite was an added bonus because we had long days planned. There were hot items, a waffle maker, fruit, yogurt, pastries etc. Tina was awesome at keeping everything stocked and just being overall helpful and pleasant. The front desk staff was awesome and went out of their way to answer questions about the area. There was soup available in the late afternoon. They have a laundry that is free for guests which was nice. Many nice restaurants and shops are within walking distance. Only one complaint, the wifi was very unreliable. It would not stay connected which was very annoying when searching websites, checking email. etc.
Can’t judge a book by its cover...Old Motel with facelift: Though modest decor, room appeared to be recently updated, freshly painted & carpeted and pristine overall!
