Since the room I requested was not available, I was upgraded to a cabana jr suite. The staff at checkin was fabulous
There was not much lighting in the room, very dim. There was some sort of drilling noise that kept going on during the middle of the night, waking me up constantly. My friends heard it as well. When I complained about the noise, the woman at the el Cortez desk did not care at all.
It's vrey close the downtown and duece bus Station
The hotel was very clean and convienent to downtown.
It was very inconvenient when we wanted el Cortez not el Cortez cabana plus the $50 deposit was not told and the check in clerk she was very rude and sarcastic.
The cabana not being in casino
The casino slots are loose here. The premium tower room was very nice and spacious.
My only complaint is the hard pillows.
