Cons: After checking in we decided to add the late check out to our room. We were given it and they redid our cards so we'd have access. Went all the way back to our room (it was very far away from the reception desk) and the card didn't work on our room, went back to reception, turns out the woman had changed our cards to the wrong room. We got this fixed and returned to our original room. The next day we were out and about, returned to the room around 13:00, and again couldn't enter our room. We walked all the way back and talked with another woman, apparently when they fixed our cards they didn't add in the fact we were a late check out on them, and then they fixed it. A lot of unnecessary work and 3 stops at the desk to do a one stop deal. Also, the toilet just kinda drips all night, fixed by just keeping the door closed.

Pros: Usually I would be hesitant to book a hotel right at the centrag station of a city, but Hotel Daniel's location in Graz for me was very nice, none of my negativ prejudices of staying close to Hauptbahnhof applied here. Comfortably elegant, friendly, cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was great! Great choice, great quality, nice atmosphere.

Pros: Usually I would be hesitant to book a hotel right at the centrag station of a city, but Hotel Daniel's location in Graz for me was very nice, none of my negativ prejudices of staying close to Hauptbahnhof applied here. Comfortably elegant, friendly, cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was great! Great choice, great quality, nice atmosphere.
Cons: My only hesitation for booking breakfast was the price. It appears a bit too much if you just have a work trip and want to have breakfast in the hotel... If you have no time to enjoy a brunch, then the breakfast is just oo expensive. It is rather a brunch, which you sometime may not afford timewise.

Pros: The staff were lovely, the room was comfortable, it was in a convenient location for the main train station and only a 20 minute walk from the old town. I would happily stay here again and just remember to shower in the dark.
Cons: The design of the room was very interesting... There was only one door which you could use for either the shower OR the toilet and if you were in the shower there was a glass panel directly into the bedroom. This would be ok if you are a couple travelling together... but makes for an awkward time if you are just friends. I am unsure what the breakfast is like but the price was very expensive I would hope the breakfast is the best I've ever eaten for the prices they charge. They provide you with bottled water upon check-out that has the sole purpose of you posting about their hotel on social media (written on the bottle). This sucks because Austria is doing a lot in the way of recycling but here we hand out pointless single use plastic bottles.

Mini bar poorly stocked but there is one tap of beer in the lobby area. Hotel is not providing garage space for the car and I ended up paying public parking - expensive. My advise is to pick another place outside town

Very satisfied with the parking (in the same building as the hotel, reachable by lift). Staff very helpful, came to our succour when we forgot our baby's cocoon in the room. Nespresso coffee machine in the room always appreciated.

Pros: The hotel is a short distance from Graz Hauptbahnhof, which is pleasant if you have a lot of luggage. It is about 15-20 minutes walk to city centre, where you can pass the iconic Kunsthaus. The room was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi worked well and without problems.

Pros: The hotel is a short distance from Graz Hauptbahnhof, which is pleasant if you have a lot of luggage. It is about 15-20 minutes walk to city centre, where you can pass the iconic Kunsthaus. The room was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi worked well and without problems.
Cons: In the room description was mentioned a water cooker, but it was not there. Instead, there was one near the reception desk. For all purposes, the ventilation unit in the room did not work.

Pros: The location AND their own car park!!! That alone makes it worth staying. Parking in any city is hard, Graz is no exception! The car park is large, the charge is very reasonable and the tram st ops in front of the hotel! Three stops and younger in the heart of the city. (Tram tickets can be bought on any tram, using a SWIPE CARD. Couldn’t be easier or more comfortable.
Cons: The whole place has been modernised recently but the bathroom is so small that it is hard to turn around. The room, on the other hand, is very large..... It claims to be four star. I am not sure how that rating is achieved and who arbitrates, but in my opinion, it’s not quite there yet.

Pros: The staff was most helpful and friendly- with practical suggestions for my short two night visit. Location is very easy from the train station, yet a nice walk to the city center. Trams are easy and run frequently. The single room was cozy, clean, comfortable, modern and all I needed at a fair price.

Pros: The hotel is situated midway between the train station and the main city square with the Rathaus, where you can walk taking about 15 min or take one of the many tramways (there is a stop very close to the hotel). The hotel room with view to the main street was quiet and comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful, the wifi good as was the breakfast. Graz as a big city has many places to eat but you need to go close to the city center to find a lot of options.

Cons: For the low price you get a bed and need to pay extra for sheets or towel if you don’t want to sleep without it in stinky blankets. Rooms are noisy, walls are thin and have other than beds only a small table if at all but not even lockers anywhere in the hostel. So keep your valuables with you... Lobby area is small, uncomfortable and simply ugly as the rooms and as non-charming as the rest of the building. Last time I stayed someone couldn’t hold his business anymore and therefore left it on the toilet seat. Other than that it is relatively clean also because it is so simple. Shared the room with several other snoring man, some won’t even bother to say hello others won’t let you alone anymore when you start talking to them. A group of Austrian tourists made loudly racists jokes about “Ausländer”/migrants while standing at the bar in the lobby. Another time I arrived in my booked dorm the only man sleeping in the room smelt so bad I had to ask to be booked into a different room which the guy at the reception did without hesitating. Never tried the breakfast but for the price you can get a decent breakfast anywhere in Graz.
