My only issue was not being to rent the car due to my Drivers license expiring the next day the 29th. Im not sure if I was charged, I was looking forward to celebrating my 45th that weekend, Other than that the location and customer service has always been professional despite the one employee having to do all the work

I don't think the car was inspected very well prior to me renting it. There was sticky stuff on the inside of the front passenger window that prevented the window from going down in a few instances. All the staff I encountered whether in person or on the phone were very pleasant and efficient. When I needed to call the customer support number, the options were very confusing. I needed to report an issue, but it wasn't an emergency, and there was not an obvious choice, so that was very frustrating. The car also smelled like a smoker. Staff 5/5, experience 3/5.

Silver Springs location is remote but the personnel couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Very pleasant. Of course, they didn’t have the car I wanted or reserved, but were accommodating and we worked out a deal. Enjoyed the car they rented me.

HUGE PROBLEM. When you rent a car in Providence, it may not be at airport. Our rental thru you was in downtown Providence, NOT PVD. Agent said it happens a lot. Agent solved problem but rental was $100 more.

Pick up the car and it was dirty i have to wash it and clean it myself and the worst part is I returned the car 3 days early and returned $2.43 cents to my card. Thank you Budget you are the worst rental cars i’ve ever imagined.

They did not specify the charges. When I picked up the car, the attendant told me if I prepaid for gas, they would credit back the difference of the gas unused back to my card. When i dropped off the car they said it was a one time price and there was no exchanges. great way to run a little 30 dollar scam.

I booked a “Camry or similar” and they tried to give me a Kia Forte. Not even close. After talking with them about it, they gave me a Kia Sportage. Better, but still not what I paid for. Maybe it won’t be everyone’s experience, but you wanted honest feedback.

I had the rental for a week and had to put air in the right front tire every other day and to top that off the engine light, oil change as well low tire light were ALWAYS on. Never again from this company!

I never was able to rent the car. They said their system was down. I was on a work trip so I had to rent a car from a different company. I will never do it this way again.

The car itself.

Cons:

The fees and taxes portion of the original contract I paid for when I picked up the vehicle. Upon return of the vehicle I had to pay the same fees and taxes again. Also, how dare that you charge 15.00 for each toll on top of the state toll charges and the 15. each toll was alot more than each toll. I will never use thrifty again and will post negative reviews each and every place i can on a daily basis.
