Cons: Aircon was a bit challenged by hot days, but still was adequate. The family room had the potential to be a bit tight for 4 adults (including 3 women) with a week's worth of gear, but everyone kept their kit consolidated and we made it thru just fine.

Cons: When we arrived we had no help with bags. Our room was dusty not vacuumed and stuffy . We asked to change rooms which they did. The location of this room was noisy . I have found i stayed here before and in a twin instead of queen and the twin was much nicer and less noise. There was not enough staff all round at the bar or front desk .The location is close to mall and train however its in the mist of the night life which was a bit out of control when we were there and i wont stay here again.

The carparking on the internet was specified as $12 per day yet we were charged $18 but there was no advice on the internet of the difference in charging for valet parking. No attempt was made by the staff to rectif that situation so for the difference of $6 and the non-help in this situation we will not consider staying here again nor recommend this to friends and work colleagues.

Cons: More than half of guests were long term backpackers who works in construction. They didn't respect other guests to make noise in late time. I wish it was a non-smoking area. Sometimes weed smell through windows and arguing themselves was awful. The toilet need to be cleaned more tidy.

Cons: Very old hotel. Views to brick wall outside. Air conditioning was from the 1950's. One big cupboard mounted knob. Low, Med,High. No heating. Staff were very good.

Cons: It feels old and dark. Our twin queen room had a small window facing a bird poo stained wall which provided little natural lighting, and the actual lights in the room were very dull so it felt dark and dingy. The room has a very noisy constant hum from the aircon, and the laundry room was right next to our wall so that was loud too. This was disappointing as I believe the price is a bit too high compared to some newer places that are quiet and well located with other facilities such as a pool, spa and sauna, and is misleading as our expectations were somewhat higher (and not unreasonable) compared to the room we received.

Cons: Given the price we were aware it was not going to be a very large room and was going to be basic. However when we got to our room we were greeted with a very strong unpleasant smell which we soon realised was coming from an industrial air cleaner. An hour later we noted on the cleaner it clearly stated that it should not be used when the room is occupied and should be vacated for a few days after use as could cause harm to individuals. Which is clearly unacceptable, we could have not realised and kept it on. Even from being in the room a short while, our chests were tight and caused us to have a bad cough. After complaining the staff did provide us another room and complementary breakfast, but only after we requested something in compensation. I would have thought due to the severity of the issue, the staff could have been more apologetic and responded quicker. I would not be returning.

Cons: The rooms were quite old, bed was not really comfortable. Place needs a good make over. Quite noisy outside, people on the street fighting/arguing.

Cons: Being on the first floor there was a lot of street noise at all hours of the day and night, including week nights They did provide ear plugs but they did not work for me. Aircon was window-mounted and made a lot of noise

Pros: Staff were lovely, the room was clean and presentable. Air conditioner worked fantastically!
Cons: I couldn't find spoons to stir my coffee, but I may have just missed them.

Pros: Unfortunately there was not a lot to like. The one staff member I had contact with was nice and helpful.
Cons: First indicator that was going to be bad nights sleep was ear plugs by each bed, they did not help with noise from outside. Room not well set out, really did not feel safe as an alone traveller. Sorry, would not recommend this property at all!

Pros: The shower was good, well spaced, The bathroom was well lit with a large mirror. The fan worked.
Cons: Too noisy, especially at night. It was as if the window's were permently open, but they were not. There were no staff available after 5.00pm, the telephone number did not work when it was dialled. Then a crowd of drunken footballers came back to the hotel at 2.00am and was singing, drinking, swearing and just been rowdy. No member of the staff were available. The strange part was the room had ear plugs!! Should have realised from that really!! There weren't a wardrobe to hang your clothes up. Terrible place to stay. The staff did say the owners were modernising the hotel, but they should not make their guests suffer.

Pros: The staff was helpful and nice to talk to.
Cons: Noisy area, old and smelly rooms. It is not a boutique hotel, it's more a cheap backpackers.

Pros: It was close to Rundell mall and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The facilities and structure of the building was in very poor condition and old and run down. The room had comfortable beds but no towel changes, no housekeeping. The room was nothing like the pictures and they do not offer a cancellation or refund. The location is bear the nightlife hub of Adelaide and many drug affected people walking around on the street below. Would not recommend staying here if you have a small family.
