I didn't realized I reserved the same hotel. Glad i did, and making a note to stay there every time. Front desk was cordial and informative 2nd story suite worth it imo. Pool looks clean and nice for when its insane high temps. Fridge is small, so if staying I'd get a walmart coolers and ice.. Nothing too fancy, Much better than those near with similar price. This was a stop over on a long road trip - I didn't expect much. The staff were the absolute best - a warm welcome and ensured all our needs were met. The room was very spacious and sparkling clean. Pros (+) Beautiful courtyard landscaping. Quiet. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Beds are comfortable. Good complimentary breakfast.
Cons (-) Bathroom cramped, dated, and in dire need of work. Shower draining problems left us standing in ankle-deep water. Rainfall-style shower head had black gunk (mildew? mold?) all over. A curved shower rod was installed, and usually means more room in the shower but, in this case, it only intruded into toilet space.
