Summary of reviews
Guests say
Overall, guests were highly impressed by the hotel's prime location, with many mentioning its proximity to attractions, easy access to public transportation, and convenience for exploring the city. Cleanliness and modern room design were also frequently praised, contributing to a comfortable stay. While some guests highlighted friendly and helpful staff, feedback on service was mixed, with a few negative experiences at the front desk and valet. Breakfast received both positive and negative remarks, with some enjoying it and others finding it expensive or limited. Despite some issues with noise, construction, and occasional service lapses, the positive aspects of location and cleanliness stood out.AI-generated from customer reviews

Quick and easy check in and check out
Pros (+) Location was excellent. Walking distance to Chinatown and Smithsonian museums and the other Mall attractions.
Pros (+) Loved the friendly staff at the breakfast buffet.
Cons (-) Comparably to others In the area, I found Hyatt’s valet slightly higher than other hotels.
Pros (+) Noting, only the location is very good, close to white house
Cons (-) There is no breakfast, we get our room after 4 hours and replaced 4 rooms... very disappointed
Pros (+) The staff was exceptional- very friendly and even remembered our kids names and talked with them each time we saw them. The location was great with just a short walk to the National Mall and White House. It was clean and well maintained.
Cons (-) It seemed to be more of a conference/business stay hotel, as there is no pool or play area for children. It did not matter to us because we knew we would spend the majority of our time outside exploring, but if you have young children and are looking to keep them entertained AT the hotel it might not be your best option.
Pros (+) It was right in the heart of DC so we could walk everywhere The staff was polite and courteous, not too over the top Nice convenience shop near the lobby area Close to affordable parking not connected to the hotel
Cons (-) The room was a bit tight for the 4 of us Dining options were limited at the hotel and expensive Parking was double what we would have paid directly across the street in the CityCenter plaza
Pros (+) A responsive staff, comfortable room. No problems. Room was ready at 9 am.
Pros (+) Metro attached to hotel Liked comfort and flexibility of restaurant and bar. Very accommodating to our family of 15 for dinner.
Cons (-) As an Ohio State Buckeye fan, there on the annual rival between OSU and Michigan, we wore our OSU gear and decided we liked the hotel bar nooks of chairs around TV. We were so disappointed the bar only plays music and the TV’s are muted. There were other guests also asking to hear the game. First staff said they can’t play the TV volume. Then they said they would try but there was no one in house ...
