Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently highlight the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, as well as the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms and beds. Several reviews mention a good breakfast and unique amenities like a sauna. However, a major concern for many is the hotel's location, which is described as being in an area with many homeless people and drug users, making some guests feel unsafe or uncomfortable, especially at night. Despite this, many guests felt safe inside the property and appreciated its proximity to city attractions.

Wonderful
Elizabeth, Aug 2017
Pros (+) After a very long night at what I thought was a youth hostel, but ended up being more of a halfway house, I found Scwachays. What a blessing. I spent two glorious nights at this boutique hotel. From the time I walked in the door, I felt like part of the family. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. There's a very special spirit here that was palpable throughout my stay.
