Great location, close to La Daille lift and the funicular, great access to supermarket, and regular buses to the village.
Bathroom maybe needed updating, but it was perfectly serviceable.
This is a great place to stay: Positives - Location is fantastic, directly opposite La Daille lift and the funicular lifts. Supermarket and restaurants/cafe opposite. Ski hire is within the building and they were excellent and flexible. Staff at the apartments were superb, friendly and helpful. P2 car parking is under the building which was reasonable and made unpacking easy. Apartment was warm with lashings of hot water. Bath and a shower (everyone’s happy) Loads of towels/bedding provided Balcony was nice with chairs provided. Red route bus stop right outside so you can pop into Val D’Isere for the evening or connect to other lifts at the bottom easily. Bread delivery everyday from reception. Check in and out was easy and quick. We could view the apartment first to make sure we liked it. Great views up the mountain. Very reasonable price considering the location. We loved it for our family and cannot wait to rebook. It was great value for money.
Negatives: Apartment was not very clean and a bit tired, even the hoover bag was full but we loved it anyway. Can be a little bit noisy from other apartments but I put in ear plugs and slept well. No hairdryer but they were available at reception. Safe was an extra charge. No oven just a hob but we knew that and it was not a problem.
Location and good bus link to Val Very close to the new bubble lift and ticket office Very nice bar brasserie at the bottom of the slopes where you could get a good beer and crepe for the kids (no beer for the kids) .
All was good
Good value for money. Good location - even though it's just outside the main Val d'Isere area, it's well served by frequent and free buses. The bus stop is right outside the building. Also, there is an underground public (paid) parking - under the building. Worth the money to park here, especially in winter, and then take the free bus in and out. Also, liked the fact that it has free lockers for ski equipment. There is a supermarket across the street. And a few restaurants. Again, busing into Val d'Isere town is no-hassle at all.
Pretty compact room. Functional, but not very roomy either. If you bring large suitcases, you will have to keep them closed and upright. Also, would be nice to have heated Ski-shoe stands. Basic cleaning of the room should be included, IMHO. In all fairness, they did make it clear beforehand that it is not.
Small and a little prison like.
Overlooking the resort, your residence offers a panoramic view of the valley. A welcoming and authentic village resort. Loisipass residence: free "Carte KDO de l'été" summer leisure card to make the most of the activities on offer. For your holidays in Val d'Isère, the La Daille residence offers holiday rentals ranging from studios for 4 people to 1/2 bedroom accommodation for 6 people. Please note: the top bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years. Law no. 95 949 of 25/08/1995.
