Grand Hotel Amrth Kurhaus The Hague. Past and present are uniquely combined in this extraordinary classical building. A rich and cultural past blended with a modern interior, present-day comfort and contemporary hospitality. Experience the exceptional ambience of the Kurhaus as soon as you walk in.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great and the hotel staff was very helpful.
Cons: Organization and cleanliness
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, rooms were nice, clean, and modern, staff was friendly
Cons: Internet was terrible. Took ages for simple pages on the met to open. As a result, I could not be working productively at this hotel.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Proximity to the beach and how grand the building is
Cons: The outside seating area was dirty, we had to wait 30 minutes before being seated for breakfast, the breakfast itself was dry, the fruit salad was old and wilted, the portions were only suitable for one person, we went to the fitness facility only to be told to go book at reception, we went down to be told that the facility is fully booked (the lady at the fitness centre could have just told us this or called reception to find out if she didnt have visibility)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent! Memorable! The most beautiful hotel on this area!
7.0 Good
Pros: The location is amazing. There is not better place in this area ! The beach and the facilities are also very good.
Cons: The staff... We were less than 10 guest in the entire hotel due to the Covid 19 situation but still, the staff was very not helping, and not very pleasant.
1.0 Poor
Pros: It’s a beautiful location and hotel
Cons: Despite my calls in advance assuring that I would have a king bed did not happen. The dining was really poor. The menu is severely limited. And the breakfast was not worth the time. For all the money you pay you couldn’t even get a cappuccino with breakfast. The staff was very unaccommodating. I have stayed at other hotels since the quarantine and cheaper hotels made sure our experience was as pleasant as possible. This hotel had junior staff with an attitude. I was willing to pay extra for a nice hotel, and expected a much better experience.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Wellness area was clean and relaxing. The Zusje restaurant had a Vegan/vegetarian week and very pleasant staff.
Cons: Some of the reception staff were unhelpful. When I asked about checking out one day early due to the Covid-19 situation, it was not possible to get a refund for the last day or even a voucher for a future visit. Parking is very expensive (41€/day) when the car park next door only charges 30€/day. The Waves restaurant did not have vegan options or even an alternative milk (soya or oat milk) for coffee, so we did not eat dinner here, nor did we have breakfast at the hotel. First "superior" room was shabby and dated. Upgraded to an "Executive" room, which was slightly better, but still did not meet expectations. Neither room had a proper shower - just a shower head over the bath.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and old-world ambience.
Cons: A lot of external renovations which spoiled the quality of the seaview.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building in an amazing beachfront location. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and were more than happy to assist with any requests we had. The pool and spa were also very nice, and was a great way to relax on a rainy day.
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Old fashioned rooms, poor service.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Reception was helpful, but very slow. Not enough staff. We were surprised that there was nothing available when on the 15th of March with 30 mins. Notice everything closed. We were told to go to a supermarket. So there was no backup plan!

Cons: A little quiet at weekend as it’s a business district
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice comfortable rooms, clean, nice view, good breakfast
Cons: The free WiFi is incredibly slow, almost unusable. Since I live in the Netherlands I could use my 4G connection instead, but speed of the Internet should really be improved a lot
9.0 Excellent
Pros: All ok. Nice breakfast. They do make fresh eggs.
Cons: all ok. Could do a bit more on cleaning. Small things, that you notice when you travel a lot. / Be aware that rooms start only on 6th flor (and up to ~19). If you are afraid of heights ask for room on lower floors.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant room. Excellent breakfast. Good facilities. Would stay there again. We arrivied late and had an early start so did not make the most of our stay in this hotel.
Cons: Parking. It took us 25 minutes to park the car. This is due to being unable to read Dutch and user error on my part.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were happy with the price, and we had a good meal in the evening, and a good breakfast. The check out was easy. Considering the location, the parking was fine.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic and there was variety to choose from, and the rooms were comfortable and were made ready for the evening, the shower was very good the water was the right temperature. the view from my room was magnificent at sun rise.
7.1 Good
Pros: Everything was reasonable OK.
Cons: It was strange, that wall socket (electricity) was without electricity. Consequently my mobile was empty and alarm clock not working. I found only then, that there are plugs with small letters “24 hours”. But late for me.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Large, comfortable rooms and friendly staff
Cons: There are no nearby restaurants or shops, which are open in the evenings or on weekends
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location & bed
Cons: Breakfast - fruit salad was really past its useful life (watermelon was actually slimy - uuuuh!) pastries were stale. No bottled water & 1 tea bag in room when I arrived. Only powdered milk sachets & couldn’t send any milk to room when requested!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel, very convenient as outside Leiden Central, which takes you direct to AMS central and Schipol in 15min. Staff at hotel very helpful and overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: I liked it all...

Pros: Nothing, very dusty room, no sea view with a booking with sea view- pls take care!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff, very friendly, excellent communications, rooms are very clean and the view on the sea is gorgeous. Food was surprisingly good and everything worked as expected and beyond. Would absolutely stay again
Cons: The only real thing I can complain about is the price of the food, but to be completely honest, 16$ for a burger is an expected price in such a high-quality hotel. And the food tastes good, so it's a price I am willing to pay

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room very comfortable, breakfast more than adequate and location perfect for our visit which in view our daughter lives nearby we will be regulars, thanks.
Cons: Not enough coffee & cream sachets for two people.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were so nice. Sorry that I don't remember everyone's name. The front desk staff (Hanni) and restaurant staff (Celine) both gave me an initial excellent impression (that will remain with me) on the hotel's staff hospitality. I really feel sorry, that I could not remember her name, the lady staff on duty for housekeeping on the evening of 25 March. The housekeeping who cleaned the room probably assumed that I checked out and removed my stuff in the ref, which included ginger shot. The lady staff that night who brought me courtesy slippers, was so sweet to give me fresh ginger with honey and lemon. Sorry dear, I forgot your name to mention in this review.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower is the best and most powerful you will ever see I think. Plus the bed is so comfy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel's building is hihg and therefore you become a grate view from your room. Location is also verz good, 30 min walk to the city-center and a lot of parks nereby.
Cons: You should pay for animals and it was not shown during the booking process. Parking costs are extremely high! Rooms are not super clean and new, there was already openned schampoo and only one couple of slippers...

Pros: The breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: The free WiFi was quite slow.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent service, we got breakfast room service and the variety went beyond expectations. Dining goes in two time slots and staff handle this smoothly. A small menu but the dishes they serve where great, very tasty. My wife and I enjoyed our stay with a 9, the hotel a 10 and the weather an 8 .
Cons: I cannot think about something negative when my entire stay was fantastic
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had mentioned in an email that my girlfriend and I cam to celebrate her birthday. They decorated the bed with rose leaves, which was really a nice surprise
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Best location, facilities and staff there is in Denhaag. The Restaurant manager took extreme care about our requests, up to buying my daughter the cornflakes she wanted so that she can have a wonderful start for her day. We absolutely Loved the treatment keep strong in theses hard times and we really appreciate your hospitality . 100% recommended and till the nxt time
Cons: 30 mins of swimming in the pool ( due to corona and not the Hotel)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great Breakfast, good Service
6.0 Good
Cons: Extremely loud room due to outside construction site. There was a party nearby with loud music until 1:30 am and loud (drunk?) guests in hotel corridors slamming doors. I travel for work often but won’t come back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing. So welcoming and so very friendly. The room was clean and neat. Everything about the hotel has been amazing. The silence, the staff, the room and hotel facilities. We are very happy! We were even almost too late for breakfast, but were welcomed with open arms to have our breakfast and enjoy it for as long as we wanted.
Cons: What’s there not to like?
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice pool
Cons: We were very disappointed from our stay, especially since it was expensive and didn’t justify its price. The hotel was very old fashioned, rooms very old and not In good condition. Corridors and elevators were dirty, stained rugs. We were not informed that the hotel is currently under renovation, we would have reconsidered our booking. The room did not match the pictures on the website. The room was cold and poor heating, window insufficiently sealed. Breakfast wasn’t good, no soy milk, again- very old fashioned and it’s high price was not justified. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and wouldn’t come back.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice. The room was clean - but small. The location is great.
Cons: The many extra costs (breakfast, view of the room, etc.) are not worth the money. Overall we thought that it was very expensive for what you get. Breakfast 20€ per person per day is also not worth the money, you can find cheaper, nicer places along the promenade. The spa area is really far from being a nice relaxing Spa and also costs 10€ per person per day extra (definitely not worth it). I would rather suggest to book a treatment in the not far away located Amrath Kurhaus Spa, then you can spend the whole day in their spa.

Cons: nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, check-in went smoothly. We arrived by car and we'd reserved parking space with the hotel. The hotel charges 27 € for a night but it's worth any penny because you are in the middle of the city. The room (46, Garden view) was very comfy, quiet and large enough for 2 adults. Bath room clean and convenient. We also had breakfast which was standard continental and somehow British (fried eggs, sausages, beans, bacon, ect). Overall quite good.
Cons: Nothing really negative, but the illumination in our room was a little bit dim and the pillows were too hard and too thick (from my point of view).
7.0 Good
Pros: The lobby is nice and the location is good
Cons: The room is extremely small

Pros: Everything was good from location to breakfast to room size, cleanness. I had a work table in the room as well and it was perfect for my work travel.
Cons: When I was booking I thought it included breakfast, which was not clear to me. I would have liked if the staff at reception told that it doesn't include breakfast just to remind as these tend to forget as generally bookings are done some time back

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a lovely experience and included breakfast. Will definitely choose the Hilton at The Hague for future business travels.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room (especially for Europe) with nice furnishings and linens.
Cons: Hotel has a very business feel to it (which is good) with lots of 220v outlets, but lacked direct USB outlets for a traveler from the US - fortunately, I had a travel transformer for my phone, but an alarm clock or outlet bank with USB connection would be helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast selection is very good
Cons: Same issue we saw last time. In the Spark bar, if you sit in the comfy booths, the bar staff cannot see you and so it’s difficult to get an order or extra drinks.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Both room and breakfast were superb. I liked everything
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room! Very comfortable!
Cons: Not much choice and quite pricey room service
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was very nice, although it was not very warm. Maybe we didn't know how to regulate the heating. Lovely bathroom, with excellent bath and separate shower. Staff friendly, location very good, just a short walk to centre of town. We found plenty to do (Delft was a good place, especially as we went on Saturday, when there was a market in the main square) in spite of museums, restaurants etc being shut down because of coronavirus
Cons: We did not like the breakfast in our room (there was no other breakfast because the restaurant was closed for coronavirus). The fruit was hard, and had little taste. We did not want tomato salad and olives for breakfast. The yoghurt was nice.

Pros: All Staff I encountered, excellent, Business facilities very good. General ambience very good. Lunch each day very tasty.
Cons: Business function room only cleaned after two days. Bedroom quite cold throughout the stay.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: the hotel has good location/clean rooms/quiet area
Cons: no a single bottle of water in the room in a 4 star hotel ! no towels in the swimming pool/ no any service in a swimming pool! one leaves clothes there without closing the cupboards as you have no idea where to get the key from...toile in the swimming pool - not working!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the swimming pool! My 2 year old daughter really enjoyed playing in the pool and it was very quiet. The staff are very helpful, they even helped out with the milk storage! There are no fridges in the rooms. And the hotel also arranged for a baby cot in our room! Very nice
Cons: It was all really nice. Maybe the hotel restaurant Salt is a bit overpriced for dinners. Otherwise all very good.
6.0 Good
Cons: I ordered the breakfast in my room,it was never seerved...The sea view is limited...the parking info received was misleading. The decoration ofvthe room is old...the bathroom might be clean, but as it is a but worn out,it is not visible., the showercurtain was disgusting... certain receptionists not always up-to-date. The restaurant and other facilities I did not try. For this level the hotel is fairly overpriced
7.0 Good
Pros: Nice surprise at the room as birthday gift
Cons: Outdated rooms especially the bathroom could need a renovation! During check in we were asked to choose our breakfast slot for the next morning. I can understand that it is easier for the hotel to manage but at the same time it limits the guests flexibility and comfortability to have breakfast whenever you want.

Pros: Great location, really wonderful room with good bed, quick communication with lovely owner (Thank you for all, Chequita!) - everything without problems and PERFECT breakfast made for you only!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming and helpful host. Nice clean room, very convenient location, with plenty of service close by.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice big bed. Room was as it looked on the photo's. There was an extra with the breakfast which wasn't on the option-list. Lots of nice little restaurants in the street. Walking distance to a free parking spot on Saturdays and Sundays.
Cons: The old window on the bathroom was a bit open for ventilation and was hard to close, we didn't try it. The internet and TV didn't work due to workings in the street, if we would be informed about this, then we would come more prepared... You can hear a lot in the old house, from the other room and noise on the street.

Pros: This is a really cool hotel for young people/students! The atmosphere is great. There is a gym, plenty of places to work/ study and the rooms are very spacious! My favourite thing was the beds. They are so so comfy. The bar/restaurant staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
Cons: The reception staff were a little cold, not everyone - but for our check-in we felt a little awkward.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, service and friendly staffs. Good size bed and very comfy too.
Cons: No coffee or tea making or at least drive king cups provided.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Nice, clean room & decent breakfast.
Cons: It was really annoying to arrive late morning & not get a room until 2pm when you could see through the plastic express checkout box many many keys where people had already left. The receptionist said there was nothing available before 2 as the housekeeping start late. I had written & asked for early check-in but got a 'no' as well. Ibis could make money from this but i guess it may be too hard.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel locates in a very good place, central train station is in walking distance, famous passage - just over the corner, hotel is surrounding with museums, sightseeings, restaurants etc Rooms are clean and quiet.
