I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and customer service of the staff and hospitality crews. However, it was very warm in my room. It was as if the window unit A/C could not keep up with the temperature outside of the building.

Cons (-) They have a bar and they serve dinner in the bar that has like two tables of 2 and the rest of the seating is at the bar. Although you cannot call down and place your dinner order if you want to eat in your room. You have to walk down, place your order and then carry it up to your room on a tray yourself. Pros (+) The location was great. Close to Powell station which made it easy to get to the hotel using BART. Union square was a block away and the turnaround for the cable car was a couple blocks away too.
Cons (-) At the time of our stay the hotel lobby and restaurant were under renovation.

Pros (+) Majority of the luxuries were fine except for several key items were a complete failure. The heating system is archaic, loud and blew cold air. Front desk came but was not able to resolve the issue and their engineer was off that evening. Cons (-) HIDDEN FEES! Parking is $75/day ($36/day just down the street), they tried to charge me all kinds of "convience fees" at check out with out telling me. If you pay on here, make sure to check your credit card. Our room was on the Powell Street and the windows did not block out any sounds. Car horns, yelling, music, etc. all night.
