Location is great. Staff is amazing and accommodating as always. It is still my favorite place to stay although its showing a little wear in places. Staff very responsive when notified of a problem. Multiple metro lines a short distance get and bus across the street that easily takes you to Gare du Nord.
Seems cleaning is done a but fast and could be more thorough in places (but no doubt daily cleaning is done). The Doors! please wipe down the doors once in a while haha.

Good location
The worst customer survive ever . I actually got the reception guy swearing on me in Spanish because the did a few mistakes with my bed and I was “impatient “. They have changed my bed and room 3 times . I would not stay there again .

Modern, cool hostel close to Montmartre and Sacre Coeur
Generator Paris is new and nice and very clean and has an energetic design. I stayed there with my 17 year old niece and her friend and wanted them to be somewhere fun and full of interesting international people that start in their age range. The food was good and the dining area was a great common area for hanging out.
I wish towels were included in the room and didn’t have to be rented. There should also be soap available even if it’s to purchase. Maybe a vending machine with some toiletries in it?

The design and cleanliness are superb.
Location is not great. 30 minutes metro, or 18 euro taxi minimum from anywhere i wanted to be. Had problems with inhospitable and rude staff. Roof is closed for the 'season' for renovations, and i booked this hotel for the roof.

“easy to find, right by the subway. place to meet interesting people. nice vibe with young people. table tennis, the porch sitting of the restaurant.”
“Good location (20 min by metro or 40 min walk to the city centre). Extra bathrooms at each floor are very helpful. Hangers, shelves at the shower and on the bed. Laundry room (3-4 euros + your detergent) and ironing board (free). Hair dryer only in the room. Lockers (4 euros for small locker for 6 hours). Remember to bring your own towel and a small drawer lock, if you don't want to rent it.”
