After the hustle and bustle of NYC it was lovely to arrive back in our room for a rest. The location was awesome. We felt safe there with the security arrangements. Loved every minute.
The bathroom was a little on the small size but it was adequate.
Location just perfect 20 steps you already in times square
Location was 2 mins walk to times square.
Misleading room information made be book a different room and I ended up paying more. Junior King suite for 4 was expected to have a bedroom and living room as per the details on booking.com but this was single room. Arrived at 12 pm for checkin and we were charged for storing luggage which was unexpected when you pay $300+ for a night. Rooms were small, very old including the bathroom. Room did not have toiletries/ towels for 4 people either. Overpriced for the facilities they got and parking prices are charged for 24 hr period even though I wanted to park for only 26 hours.
Very clean and excellent location.
Can be alittle noisy at night but that is because it is so central. No kids menus.
Hotel Edison is a beautiful, modern hotel situated right in the heart of downtown New York City. Visitors to the Big Apple will relish this top-end art deco hotel as it is within walking distance of Broadway and Times Square. Of course, there is a lot more to see near the hotel then just Times Square. Visitors can go and explore the International Center of Photography, The Museum of Modern Art, Morgan Library and Museum, American Folk Art Museum, and much more.
Within the hotel, guests have a few different dining options to explore. The Rum House is an upscale urban cocktail lounge with the menu of a casual tiki bar. While thirsty guests can try just about any drink, the specialty here is decidedly on rum cocktails and rare rums for sampling. Bond 45 is an upscale Italian restaurant that spans two different floors. Finally, there is Friedman's a health-forward eatery that specializes in incredible gluten-free dishes.
The Edison has three different room types: Classic, Signature, and Suite. The Suites are the largest of the rooms with the most amenities as well. These amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers, Keurig coffee makers, Frette linens, C.O. Bigelow bath amenities, mini fridge, and a crisp 42" LCD flat screen HDTV. All of the rooms can be reserved in either one or two-bed configurations depending on how many guests will be there for the duration of the stay.
