Great experience. I have used Hertz in Abu Dhabi on a few occasions in the past & whilst they maybe more expensive, you do get great service. My SUV was brand new & they also offered me two hour grace period over the allotted time of return to return my car. Both collection & return experience was seamless.

Everything was good, except the pick-up was disaster, it took from me almost 45 min to finish my procees with them at Hertz Abu Dhabi office, they took very long time with each client, and there was an employee there totally unprofessional (his name is Zia).

No one was at the center when I arrived at 18:00. The other rental brands said they would not return for four hours (22:00). Lazy staffing=lost income. Poor management.

They never rented the car to us! They wanted $200 as drop fee. That price was never mentioned during booking and neither was it in the confirmation email. I had booked it specifically for pick up in Abudhabi and drop off in Dubai. Wasted time and very aggravating to not have correct cost communicated upfront

Out of the way, lots of up-charges, and little customer service. There is an unmentioned credit-card deposit that was supposed to be returned in two weeks (no reason given for the excessive length of time), but I had to call to have it returned. Car was fine, but I won’t use Payless again.

The company wants to steal your money. First they tell you the baby car seat FREE of charge. Then in the invoice it is NOT free and it costs additional fees. Then they charge you extra for things you did not do so they don’t give you the deposit money!
