The woman at Marrakech pick up location was nice, professional, and clear. The man at Tangier drop off location was nice, professional and clear but he charged us for cleaning the vehicle which should have been included in price.

Compact SUV

They are complete scammers. I prepaid for a compact SUV. When I came to pick up the car, they said they only had economy sedan class and that I only reserved a sedan which is a blatant lie. They said I could take it or leave it as and I quote "we already have your money" Then they said because my credit card said Business VISA in large letters I would have to pay $100 extra. I did NOT take the car and I would never ever do business with ADDcar

The experience with Addcar at Marrakesh Airport was not good. We arrived with the same Credit card used to pay for the hire and we’re told there is an extra charge of €145 to the €33 hire cost because the card is not embossed?? He was rude and aggressive about I cold cancel the deposit with this card . You cannot cancel an impending payment/deposit. He showed a contract he had printed out that mentions this . I double checked the contract it is not a thing.This was false . There were three other people who had the same problem in the queue two lads from Germany were threatened with Police for standing their ground . The car hire company use a make shift outfit from the boot of a car !! I did not have a good feeling from this so did not take the car as thought if this was the attitude what will happen on the return of the car . I cannot get a refund .What I don’t understand is how Kayak is misleading the public by saying Addcar has good reviews when if you read Google reviews and reviews on Trustpilot it is rated bad and a scam company !! Do the decent thing and take this company off your site .

Absolutely horrible. Their payment machine couldn't take the security deposit on my card. They claim it was refused but I called my bank and they confirmed no transaction had been attempted. Then try to gouge me out of 675$ EXTRA (!!!) on a 150$ reservation. Crooks.

Compact SUV

First off. If you are going to drive alot in morocco hire a paid driver with a car that will be cheaper or Please carry full insurance. 2nd dont rent from addcar bcus they dont have a airport location. They sit in a shed in the parking lot of an airport with a small sign on the side of a car “addcar” rental car company. The delivery person speaks very little english. You must book at the exact time for pick up otherwise they cancel ur reservation with no refund “one of their fine print” if u r more than 2hrs late or delayed flight good luck. Once cancelled u cant get the same price u have to pay almost quadrupled. The vehicles are not what u get in the pictures. They are alot older and run down. The vehicles r not available at the airport either. Once u arrive while u r doing paperwork the cashier will inform someone to bring ur car from outside which can take up to 1hr. The 24/7 phone does not work 24/7. Its a joke. Better to go with a reputable company and pay more. Oh and 1 last thing. They will take ur entire $500 deposit even if u have a minor minor microscopic scratch. Take videos and pictures before picking up. July 2024.
