Pros: Property was really nice, close to the center, staff really nice and friendly and REALLY Good food!!! I recommend for family with kids. Really relaxing place!!!
Cons: Old people who forgot how is to have small kids!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Very clean, lovely room, balcony , very tasty breakfast and dinner. Very good value for money. Excellent service!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our expectations were exceeded greatly. This is the first time that I have ever stayed at a lodging that was a "pensionat", so I was unsure of what to expect. Everything exceeded our expectations from start to finish. I wasn't actually expecting much of a breakfast but was thrilled to see how very, very nice and complete it was with even eggs cooked to order. The staff, every one of them was so wonderful and always looking for a way to help with any questions we had while visiting the area. I will without doubt stay whenever I will be in the area again.
Cons: This was not a big deal for me, but if the parking lot was full you may have to back out of it when the parking lot is full.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location, excellent breakfast,
Cons: Steps in my room... Difficult to see during a night and dangerous for older people...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was great.Though we don’t speak Polish the staff assisted us in every way to make our stay more comfortable. This property was very relaxing.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
7.5 Good
Pros: Enjoyable hotel with a good location, sitting on a small hill which gives it a nice view over the area. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The hotel serves breakfast from 8.30am which was too late for us but luckily they could serve it earlier for us as we had to go earlier.
Cons: The hotel itself is quite modest, it's very basic and doesn't have a lot of atmosphere. Although it has everything you could expect. The rooms are somewhat acoustic but luckily there weren't many people staying at the hotel.

Malopolanka & Spa - Krynica-Zdrój - Bedroom
3
9.1 Excellent (210 reviews)
Overview Reviews

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Exellent location. Good parking facilities. Historic building.
Cons: The spa was closed when we were there. The parking was a bit difficult to find and this should be announced when you book the hotel
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and extremely friendly staff - very helpful, polite and always with a smile on their faces. The coffee, tea and bar were well stacked, the cakes excellent and most importantly a nice, comfortable environment to sit it. As we had a small baby, the hotel was children friendly with breakout areas for kids to play in. The breakfast was filling with a wide assortment of food to choose from - with eggs and coffee made to order. The lunch and dinner menu was good. While not exactly fine dining, the chef does make an attempt to impress with good plating and well-flavoured dishes with wine pairing. Do try the beef tartar as an appetizer, was probably the best among the lot. The location of the hotel is perfect, dead in the centre of the old spa town with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. The Spa is well equipped, although with the little one around we did not, unfortunately, use much of the facilities. Parking available but a word of caution - around 70 steps above the hotel, so mind the sweat! PS - thanks to the staff for an upgrade to the apartment and the welcome drinks!
Cons: Overall a pleasant experience, although a few factors made me mark the overall rating a 4/5. While the decor in the common area and SPA has been well done up (appears to be recently refurbished), the rooms need a bit of an overhaul. The bed was a little to cranky and everytime we moved, we had to be cautious not to wake our sleeping baby. The restaurant was unfortunately closed except for breakfast - Monday through Wednesday (so we really got to eat lunch and dinner only a couple of days in the restaurant) and we had no prior notice of it which was a tad disappointing as it was hard to find children friendly restaurants at short notice. A heads up would have been helpful. But for these factors, a very pleasant experience and stay!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The restaurant food is excellent. Bar cosy and coffee and cakes amazing with live music at weekends. Breakfast delicious with big variety. rooms are spacious. Ask one with balcony! Very clean. Water is provided every day. Central location. Parking. Very oldie traditional. I have stayed here many times and I will always come back. It gets better.
Cons: Nothing really. They could improve on wine list. And have more variety on menu, what no platcki and goulash!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I love the quirkiness and walking into the old ages. Krynica Zdrój is a jewel undiscovered by anyone outside of Poland. Quiet. Breakfast amazing! Food in restaurant absolutely delicious. You have to try it. Staff so friendly and helpful. Have stayed here many times and to be recommended
Cons: The wine list could improve! But they do have wine !!!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very traditional hotel. Comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Very nice breakfast and a good place for an evening meal.
Cons: No elevator so be prepared, the staff were very helpful with my bag. There was music in the lobby a couple of nights but I found that it did not bother me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, breakfast, room and authentic vibe
Cons: That I didn’t stay even longer!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff Excellent food in restaurant Great selection of Irish whiskies!!!
Cons: Bedroom little small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Old world elegance, updated. Loved the mineral waters and the Polish chocolates provided in the rooms. Towel warmer a plus! Onsite spa services. Helpful English speaking front desk staff. Mountain air, live music in the bar. delicious food in the onsite restaurant...a gem.
Cons: Wished the room had a spa menu in English.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great for families. Visited for the second time, still loved everything. A lot of stuff like sauna, swimming pool, bowling for no additional cost. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with some vegetarian options too. Wifi in the rooms was fine.
Cons: Showers in the swimming pool area could be a bit more cleaner. Hotel consists of multiple buildings, be prepared for a walk when going to spa or restaurant. Luckily there is no need to go outside when doing so as there are enclosed walkways
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was simply magnificent at this hotel. We were trying to find a fault and couldn't. Cannot recommend this property enough. Hotel, facilities, staff, food and value for money, incredible. We will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone! Thank you for an unforgettable stay.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good, room is clean, territory of the hotel is amazing. the pool is a big advantage, however, it's full afternoon, but still very good. Perfect sauna. Nice restaurant Kiepura, but a bit overpriced.
Cons: Massage was bad. AND...Minor things, but still for a hotel with over 100 Eur per night, those things should be followed up. We are repeaters guests - nobody greeted us as repeaters. Last time we were there, our baby got a soft toy upon departure. He waited that again this time, but nobody offered it to us. We've got just a check from bank terminal upon departure, so actually I have no idea, if I was charged properly. No guest folio was given to me (where I can see my expenses). I was just given a bank terminal to pay the amount which was already typed there. I'm totally confused by this. I really like this hotel, but honestly speaking those small things disappointed me and I don't think we will come one more time.
7.1 Good
Cons: Parking is horrendous. The room was clean, but is showing signs of aging ( stains on the walls, doors, curtains, and paint chipping). The ceiling in the suite was so low that I could touch it just by raising my hand. There is no shelf in the bathroom and my wife had to put all of her things on the floor. Getting around is very very complicated. We were staying in one of the farther buildings and we got lost going to and fro quite often. Again, parking is horrendous.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: Old facility with cigarette smell everywhere. Totally overpriced. Staff not carrying at the check in. Small rooms. Very cold at night. Poor changing at the pool. Drunken Polish loud folks everywhere. It may be worth if it’s 10 times cheaper.
7.0 Good
Pros: Restaurants, Mini Golf and Cleanliness.
Cons: Hotel was far away from the main building, had to walk on the street with my child freezing, room had not crib for my daughter as expected and sent the email previously and pool was cold last day.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and convenient car parking on site.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: location facilities
Cons: rates
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very good meals for breakfast even a cook available for ommeletes.
Cons: While paying at reception my bar expenditures were included in the invoice together with room fee. As I was on a business trip it complicates my reimbursement from company
5.4 Okay
Pros: The hotel benefits (and takes advantage) of good central location
Cons: On the day of our arrival road to the hotel was closed due to sport event. We were not able to park outside the hotel until 8:15pm (we were told to check for updates every hour so we spent our day walking up and down between hotel room and security of the event). We ended up paying for the parking 500 mts from the hotel and had to carry out luggages all the way down. While made a complaint to Management (via email) that we should have been advised in advance about this situation (so we could plan our journey in a different way) we got no response. Obviously hotel doesn’t care about small individual customers, only business and so called VIPs. Our room was also nothing special with a poor view on someone’s else windows. Overall very bad value for money, there are much better 4-stars hotels in Krynica.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful property, great staff, nicely located and next to some nature trails for a nice walk.
Cons: The AC and fan in the room were not working properly so the room was pretty hot and there was a fan vent located pretty close to the balcony that made it pretty difficult to sleep soundly throughout the night. The mattresses were also a bit too soft
7.9 Good
Pros: Hotel in general very nice
Cons: Food no much options , breakfast. No kettle at rooms no room food service after 10pm restuarant closes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good choice of foods for breakfast. Perfect location very close to other places. Swimming pool and spa in the same building.
Cons: Lights turned off even though card is inserted in the card box after entering.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice, spacious room with comfortable beds, clean and big bathroom. Lovely wellness, location of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, happy to help with everything and even prepared nice breakfast package when we needed to leave really soon.
Cons: Not really happy solution of parking. It seems that there is not enough parking space for the hotel capacity. We got our car crashed while using the hotel parking lot.

7.5 Good
Pros: Location ,comfort bed ,view from the room, quite, wifi ,friendly staff.

7.1 Good
Pros: Location, comfortable bed, quiet place for relaxation.
Cons: Kind of disorder in restaurant, difficult to find staff, food, it would require renovation of the restaurant, no menu card in the room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfort, location, room spaciousness, even the room coffee was the best I’ve had in a long time
Cons: Just the ever so slightly dated look, but it’s simply a visual aspect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My parents had a brilliant time. Thank you for everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: When my friend and I were invited to Poland by some Polish friends, we figured we would plan a spa week before going to Poznan for Pyrkon. After a fair bit of looking around, the Mercure popped up as highly recommended for our needs. I have an auto-immune disease that sometimes makes movement difficult, and my friend was overworked and on the verge of a nervous breakdown, as well as severely agoraphobic. We are not, by any means, easy guests. We had such an amazing week here that we were genuinely sad to leave and we would be back in a heartbeat. The room we had was spacious, clean and had a great view from the balcony we didn't use as much as we should have. The beds were super-comfortable, a huge plus for physically disabled clients (I usually have to ask for extra pillows or blankets for support when I go abroad, I didn't need to here). It was so quiet and peaceful we slept beautifully every night. When we did eat in the restaurant the food was lovely, good Polish national cuisine (that I had, friend is somewhat picky). The crux of our visit, the spa, was an absolute treat. The therapists were so lovely to us, very accommodating and very skilled in their work. I had at least one treatment every day and on the first day there the therapist mapped them all out for me to get the most out of them. The pool was a fantastic place to just peacefully float away all day if you wanted, and the relaxation spots were so comfortable that you could nap there even after a good 12 hours sleep the night before. We particularly enjoyed the rocking couches overlooking the mountain trails. The best part about our whole experience is that it had a dramatic effect on our well-being. After a few treatments I was in a lot less pain, having very few spasms and able to walk around quite a bit without my cane. My agoraphobic friend, who usually can't leave her own house without someone escorting her, walked around outside without me for the first time in three years!
Cons: This is a rural part of Poland and the people we met had somewhat limited English, but I don't see that as a problem they had as we can't expect everyone to understand us, and their English was a hell of a lot better than our Polish was. We mostly communicated through hand gestures and apologies (from us for being awful tourists.) We got by just fine. As neither of us drive, we had to take a very long bus to get to Krynica Zdroj and that was a bit of a pain, but again not the hotel's problem, we knew what we were getting into. Those were the only problems we had. I haven't a bad word to say about the Mercure or anything that happened in it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable hotel with a pleasant ambience, friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean and spacious. Recommendation: rooms with balcony.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: There are a private parking places under hotel. The staff prepared the necessary documents, no extra time was needed for the check in and check out. No noise around the hotel, shops are close to the hotel.”
Art Nikifor Hotel - Krynica-Zdrój - Lobby
9
8.8 Excellent (129 reviews)
Overview Reviews
The property is located on a hill in the peaceful centre of Krynica Zdrój. It offers rooms with an LCD TV and free Wi-Fi, as well as a recreational centre. The rooms at Nikifor come with a private bathroom with a shower and satellite TV. During your stay at Nikifor, you can visit the Finnish sauna and the steam bath and enjoy various kinds of massage. The Nikifor's restaurant, Łemkowska Chyża, offers excellent regional dishes. In the morning breakfast buffet is served. Nikifor offers curling contests, preceded by professional training.
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was well enough, the beds are okay, the view from the room was to the street. I guess it was okey. You could vary your breakfast from a wide range of Polish food.
Cons: The walls are a little bit of thin, if somebody was watching tv, you could hear them. During our stay (for 5 days) the sauna was not working, I don't know why, just simply was not working. The shower sometimes worked sometimes not, hot water was luxury after an all day of skiing. The pain point was the sauna as we chose this apartement mostly because of this extra service. You have to park on the street, and really hard to find free place, in case of snowing... The Nikifor restaurant's prices are fair, but because of this, at late night you definielty will not have free parking place, only at down the street.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The receptionist did not speak much English, but she was very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable, and I really loved all the artwork throughout the hotel. The decor is warm and charming.
Cons: Access to the lobby is only available via a climb of 2 flights of stairs. The electricity went out just after I checked into my room, but it did come back on in a few minutes. No one answers most of the time if you try to call reception. The female staff in the restaurant are not very friendly, and I had the impression that they don't like non-Polish visitors.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Reception people help me a lot !!!!!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant and gentle staff.
Cons: Varieties of buffet breakfast selection - not very impressive as for so widely advertised spa chain.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location, breakfast, every morning a new bottle of sparkling mineral water is handed in... Staff can be a little bit annoying sometimes (like entering the room to clean before breakfast), but in general they try to make it right. Note that some balconies look straight into the forest so expect not much sun light, but on the other hand you don't need air conditioning even in the hot summer days. All rooms feature fridges and kettles.
Cons: It is hard to single out something specific. Perhaps I have to mention that the water tap over sink in the bathroom is a little bit stiff. That water pool which is on every photograph of this hotel is actually quite a controversial thing. Use it at your discretion.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The beautifull view on. Montain! Big balony Good breakfast
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was really very good and full of choice. Dinner also available from 4.00 to 6.30 pm.Boiling pot at the room. I liked also the parking which was arranged in covered place (so in case of snow or rain - you and you car is protected.
Cons: No restaurant. Breakfast available from 8.00 which is good for people during vacation but not for business guests.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good (exceeded my expectations for this price) Especially good are fitness facilities, here you can find almost everything- swimming pool and sauna are included in price! Parking was nearby.
Cons: All was perfect
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: It was stinky and old room. Not the same as listed on the site. (Staff said that only some of the rooms were renovated) The floor was broken, walls were dirty. One of the beds was in fatal condition. No separate ballcony. The glass in the room was not cleaned. (There was lipstick on the edges) During the breakfast I saw staff putting back used napkins to the stand. (3 times same situation) Food was really bad, even the jug with milk was rusty...
5.0 Okay
Pros: - Free parking - Wi-Fi in the room.
Cons: - Hot water is not hot but just warm. - Hot dinners are served just every second evening. The rest of the days just cold food as for the breakfast - The bathroom is extremely cold and not bath mat for the cold floor. - Food is ... not good. - Heating was not working. - Photo not showing the real situation of rooms. We were in an old room with really dirty walls :( - Price is too expensive for such quality.
6.7 Good
Pros: I liked the location -700m from center so in a calm but close. The view is really nice. The renovated room was spacious enough, well equiped and beds confy. Bathroom new, spacious, clean. Nice and big (for a hotel) swimmingpool, gym really well equiped. Bar with craft beers. Breakfast ok, everyone would find something. Staff helpful, kind.
Cons: Parking is a nightmare- the hotel was build in old Times so no place for cars , you park everywhere. The whole building is in really bad shape you don’t see on the pictures, the surroundings of the hotel are not cleaned, old furnitures, pipes laying around- the view from the gym could be nice but the therasse is covered with rotten chairs and tables- just throw it away! The balcony in the bar and dining room has such a nice view but it’s half in broken tiles, concrete and fake grass- just put the grass everywhere and make it look clean. The room with the balcony was looking really poor with dirty carpet, the broken curtains, we preffered room on first floor with poor view and no balcony but clean and new.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Extremely old and uninvested facility. Will never book it again or recommend anyone. It’s not worth the money. Very disappointed. Dirty walls everywhere. Incl. our room. Old swimming pool. Leaking water from the ceilings in the hall, bar and some rooms. Parking is a joke. For max 15 cars. Otherwise you need to park 100’s meters apart on the narrow risky street.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a typical Communist Era grand hotel so it is short on frills but delivers on basics. The whole building is shaped like a cruise liner plonked on top of a mountain. The views from all floors are pretty spectacular. There is a balcony running around the outside of each floor so you can step outside and take in the sun or snow depending on the time of year. I was there for the Christmas break and book half board - the breakfast was a little late and the dinner early but the food was good and plentiful. The bar was open as it was Christmas and the beer was cheap. Krynica itself is a interesting place to visit and there were some wonderful views.
Cons: It is a long hike up the hill especially in winter when the snow is deep and cars are parked on the pavements. The steepness of the hill meant that I had to keep getting taxis down to the centre. Also, for such a huge hotel (4 floors of guest accommodation) it would have been nice to have a coffee bar away from the main entrance and reception area.
