Pros (+) There are two pools the resort (luxury villas) and the standard pool. As we only had a standard room we were in the standard pool area, but still fantastic. Close to Mindal Beach night market. Close to everything really. Sunsets in Summer are beautiful. Plenty of food options to choose from.
Cons (-) It is a Casino so that does tend to take away some of the niceness of the hotel.
