Fuel is obviously very expensive in the Faroe Islands. The main thing to be aware of is the tunnel fees across the islands. These run upwards of $30 per trip through the tunnels. We had our vehicle for three days and accrued over $300 in tunnel fees alone. Keep in mind when planning sightseeing and eating out at restaurants so as to minimize the need to use the tunnels.

KAYAK
Very easy pick up. Building is attached to the airport for a simple pick up and drop off. The process was very quick. Vehicle was nice and clean. They prepped it with winter tires prior to our arrival as well. Just in time for some snow. Very pleasant staff. I would certainly recommend.
