Cons (-) I tried to upgrade my room to a spa room, it was double the price, but I wanted to experience the spa. The third party booking agent would not allow me to change my reservation even though The Grove Park would. I won't be using Kayak again.

Cons (-) The rooms vary greatly! This isn't an issue unless they are all over priced. We had 4 rooms last weekend - all around 400$ a night. They were all different sizes because parts of the hotel are different. The room in the old part of the hotel was barely large enough to walk around a queen size bed.

Cons (-) It was not what was depicted on the Internet. We were deceived and no one seemed to care. It was dirty, small, and not the romantic get a way we had hoped for to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We called to verify that the pool was included. Pros (+) I love the location and ambience of the resort. You definitely need to have an extra stash of money for the parking and resort fees. Not to mention taxes on the resort fees. But the staff and views from this resort are amazing. There are amazing places very close, food ,shopping , sites to see. I would go back as often as possible.
