Overview

Hotel Arena stands at the edge of the Amsterdam city center and can be accessed through the Oosterpark area. It’s situated in a building with an impressive history. Guests are treated to a modern vibe and design along with good food and rooms that are suited for all types of travelers.

Hotel Arena is located in the eastern region of Amsterdam, which is an up-and-coming neighborhood. The place is just a 10-minute walk away from the city center. Several of the city’s tourist attractions are easily accessible through public transport. For instance, guests can hop on board a tram and travel down to the Dam Square, which is located 2.5 miles away. Trams from the nearby stops can also be taken for rides down to other popular places located within a 3-mile radius.

This hotel has been established in a building steeped in history. The place was once a fully-functioning nursing home and orphanage. The Chapel, wooden marble staircase, and monumental ornaments have been restored to preserve the original look and feel of the place. The rooms are characterized by wooden beams, original ornaments, sloping walls, high ceilings, and large windows. While the style and design of every room is different, a private bathroom, seating area, flat-screen TV, and air-conditioning are the common features in all.

The Hotel Arena offers a variety of dining options at the Park CAFÉ-Restaurant, which offers a great view and an assortment of Dutch and International a-la-carté dishes. Guests can also enjoy a drink or two at the bar. The hotel also offers facilities such as bicycle rentals, free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour reception desk where guests can ask for a host to give local tips.

Hotel Arena is a premium destination with a historic charm about it that makes it a wonderful choice for all types of travelers in the beautiful city of Amsterdam.
