We are loyal Marriott customers and are generally very happy with our experiences at all levels of properties, but I have to say this was underwhelming. The experience did not justify the cost. Personnel are very good. Frankly, I am somewhat uncomfortable with the extreme display of water usage and evaporation in the ponds upon entry while situated in a desert.

Marriott beds are always fantastic. The property is beautiful. It’s huge. Fun stuff for kids like arcade. Problem was staff. #1 there aren’t enough. No help at pool. Front desk was incompetent at best. Not what I expect from JW.

Pros (+) Clean and well maintained resort.
Cons (-) Staff was noyr as accomodating to Marriott Elite members as would be expected. Sound proofing in rooms is very poor. Could easily hear other guest in adjacent rooms, as well as music from parties below. We had a renovated room with a resort view.
