Mogán hotels

A great all-in-one hotel that caters for adult activities and has plenty to occupy the kids is Hotel The Valle Taurito. It has a dedicated kids’ pool and a kids’ club, and if you want more activities, you only need to travel about 5 miles into Mogán town itself. Playa de Veneguera Beach resort is just over 3 miles away too.

There are some beautiful tourist hotels in Mogán, but perhaps the pick of the lot is Taurito Princess, in the Calle Alhambra neighbourhood. This is a 4-star hotel with an on-site restaurant. You can also drive the 5 miles into the centre of town for a variety of taverns and restaurants.

Book at Servatur Green Beach, and you’ll be able to avail yourself of the hotel’s round trip airport shuttle service. This will take you to and from Gran Canaria Airport in about 40min each way. You’ll also be only a 15-minute drive from Anfi Beach, and can reach Amadores Beach in a similar amount of time.

You can’t get more central than Apartamento El Pueblo, which is a stroll away from the downtown part of this tiny inland village. Reaching Mogán Port is a matter of driving about 6 miles south to the coast, and it’s just a 15-minute walk to El Molino de Viento and Tauro, two other local attractions.

Casa Mamánena guest house is an ideal spot, tucked away near the beach on Carretera General de Mogán. It’s about 1.4 miles from Tauro Beach, so you can take a nice leisurely stroll there and enjoy the rugged scenery on the way. If you’re driving, Cactualdea Park is about 12 miles away, as is Mogán Port.
