There were crumbs everywhere — counters, floors and bed. Forgotten junk under bed, including a chicken bone. The window lock appeared to latch but would unlatch as soon as you shook it. We came back around 2am and there was no staff around to let us in (no room key entry there), called the desk… never showed up :\ the bathtub was a very slow drain, you had to stand in water while showering. Pros (+) Ckearn, updated rooms, great price
Cons (-) Went to pay for two extra days. they charged us double. Signed and told, it did not go through, swipe and sign again. Did, got charged twice, they deny it. This isn't pending. It is two cleared charges. So far unable to rectify it.
Pros (+) Quick check in process. Comfort of the beds/pillows. An easy drive to downtown. It was a fraction of the price of similar hotels in the area.
Cons (-) Matching stains in the bathroom and sleeping area. On the walls, ceiling and lampshades. Located steps from the highway. Air conditioner was kind of loud and blew the curtains straight out.

Cons (-) Breakfast the TV wasn't on. The bagels were hard and so was the cream cheese. You couldn't even cut a waffle with the flimsy utensils. Very disappointing breakfast.

Pros (+) The evening desk manager was very thorough and friendly while he was explaining the hotel rules and amenities. Most places don't even look up from their monitors, listen or even smile. The room was spacious, clean, very comfortable and updated. There is a breakfast assortment and the parking made me feel safe while travelling alone for business.
Pros (+) The room was clean and as advertised, and Econo Lodge was one of the cheaper places in town. It's right off a main road, which made it super easy to get to from Milwaukee, and an easy drive to downtown. It's across the street from a huge mall thing with lots of options for food, shopping, or entertainment.
Cons (-) The continental breakfast was pretty meager. They charge a $20 fee to check in early, so I went across the street and watched a matinee at the local megaplex for $5 instead.
