Overview

Perched right on the sea just outside of Ierapetra in southern part of Crete, this charming hotel expertly mixes traditional Cretan style with modern conveniences. Visitors might take a fifteen-minute drive into Ierapetra to see Napoleon's house, Aghios Georgios church, and the Venetian fortress in the medieval old town, and history buffs might rent a car to explore the area's many Minoan sites. The cosy guest rooms are bright and airy, each with free Wi-Fi internet access and a balcony or terrace overlooking the sea or the garden. Guests might start the day with a delicious breakfast of traditional local pastries and toast with homemade jam in the restaurant, and later dine on traditional local specialties next to the pool. The hotel also has a children's playground and library in addition to a hammam, hot tub, and outdoor pool with views of the sea, all for a completely relaxing holiday of sea and sun.
