6.2 Okay
Pros:First of all, if you are paying to stay the night, I’d recommend staying in the main hotel for the “true experience”!! Yes, it’s expensive, but for many it is a once in a lifetime experience so it’s worth the money. The Hotel is old and in need of repair but It is a beautiful Hotel and the experience is well worth it!
Cons:Our room was kind of dirty upon arrival. Nothing that took away from the experience. The Hotel is old but Beautiful.. In my opinion, I think like the ownership/Management really need to invest into an experienced on site maintenance staff, necessary equipment, and a necessary maintenance budget that would allow for daily upkeep & repairs to the property. I’ve been a property Maintenance Supervisor for 25 years and know the importance of maintaining such properties & I noticed a lot of “curb appeal” projects that would really help enhance the beauty of the property & Hotel buildings.
8.2 Very Good
Pros:Nice location, historical vibe was cool. Good food and bar.
Cons:Overpriced for what it is, and a lightbulb literally caught fire and then exploded right on top of where we were sitting in the lobby. Considering the place is made entirely of wood it was kind of terrifying. Next time I care to go by I'll just stop in at the bar/restaurant.
4.5 Mediocre
Cons:Hallway was dirty and never vacuumed. Littered with dirty dishes. Room was not vacuumed. Location of room was horrible. Could hear everything in the next room and from the room above us.
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:The staff was very helpful. The facilities did not disappoint!
6.8 Okay
Pros:The staff did a great job of attending to our needs
Cons:No air conditioning made the room very uncomfortable.
5.7 Fair
Pros:Beautiful views of the mountains. Convenient walk to downtown Estes Park.
Cons:Limited bathroom counter space, poor wifi, uninformed concierge, unaddressed maintenance issues .
8.0 Very Good
Pros:Enjoyed the historical atmosphere and that ghost tour.
Cons:We were surprised by the outside appearance...peeling paint, untended landscaping, and building materials.
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:Came here on my birthday with my friend and dog. It was such an amazing stay and the staff was really friendly. My dog really liked the treats in the rooms and the dog bed, water and food bowls where a nice touch. Can't wait to visit again.
Cons:I didn't know the ghost tour was where you had to buy a ticket in advance, but other than that everything was perfect.
10.0 Wonderful
Pros:We took the history of the hotel tour and really enjoyed it.
Cons:We stayed on the 4th floor and the room was smaller than expected.
