Excellent 10.0
Pros: I was absolutely stunned with the Breakfast cupboard! It was amazing! Literally Everything you can think of was there! And I could not wait until I will make my morning coffee with the croissant and yogurt and cheese and salami and cookies and enjoy it all from my bed with the excellent view to the greenery. Unfortunately I slept over and find myself in a rush to the airport. The owner was absolutely fantastic, helped me with my suitcase, ordered taxi and knocked the door in the morning to make me jump out of my bed and hurry to the airport even without the shower!!! This place is simply Fantastic and deserve the highest rates possible! Would love to come back again. Thank you so much !
Cons: everything is perfect here!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, very beautiful layout and lovely garden with two cute dogs. Lovely area with a great park next to it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing continental breakfast/snacks available in-room from check-in on. Croissants, charcuterie plate, teas, coffees, yogurt, juice, muffins. Looks out onto a lovely park called “jacko”
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was Perfect ! Excellent stay. Clean, warm lovely place. Highb quality room, outstanding service.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was wondering, will definitely stay again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I would highly recommend Rose Cottage. It was such a pleasant, relaxed experience and they had thought of everything. There were so many wee touches that made the stay so enjoyable. Loved the fact I could make my own breakfast in the morning without all the fuss.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Rose Cottage and were blown away by the attention to detail and the thoughtful conveniences found throughout the room. Domenika has really put thought into her guests' needs. I appreciated the makeup remover in the bathroom. My husband was excited by the USB outlets and we both loved all of the options for breakfast from pastries to yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, fresh orange juice and even a cheese plate in the mini fridge! My husband also loved the little biscotti treats that went with the coffee - such a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the Netflix option. It was a wonderful getaway.
Cons: I have nothing negative to say. We loved the cottage and will absolutely stay here again when we visit Dublin.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: I booked this stay as a need to stay somewhere last year (In 2017) but quickly changed my view when I saw how amazing this cottage is! My friend and I were greeted immediately and before talking Business was offered tea, coffee, or champagne. After receiving the tea, he sat down with us and outlined all the restaurants and bars in the area to try and ones to stay away from since it was a holiday. On top of the holiday there was a rugby match going on so it would have been hard to find a place to sit down and eat or have a beer. I was very satisfied with my service and given the opportunity to stay in Dublin again I would choose this in a heartbeat. Thank you rose cottage!!!
Cons: There was nothing in control of the cottage that was in satisfied with the weather is another comment.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Our host, Dan, exlemplified the term. This was our first day in Ireland, and we felt utterly lost. Dan reached out to us before our plane even left home, asking when he might expect us. We had an email dialog that helped us use the public transportation system to reach the B&B. He let us drop our luggage off and explore Dublin while waiting for check-in time, then showed us the best bus routes to take. In the morning, he cooked up a great Irish breakfast for us to get our day started. About the bed, we took it for granted. It was a nice, comfortable mattress, which we wished we had for the next two weeks. It seems comfortable beds are not common in Europe and the UK, so it was a real luxury to have had our first night after a full day of travel at Rose Cottage.
Cons: It is a bit outside of Dublin center, so the bus ride takes about an hour...if there is not a hurling match happening.

Pros: Location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great room. They had outlets for international chargers. Front desk helpful and friendly.
Cons: None
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was clean, modern and had air conditioning (in a country with very few hotels or B&Bs with A/C). The shuttle bus ran regularly and on time. It's very convenient to the airport.
Cons: The bathroom needs upgrading. The shower/bathtub is awkwardly shaped and the curtain sticks to you. Also, they need fans in the bathrooms to extract the humidity.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was too notch, from the smart phone on offer in my room to the comfortable bed to the fantastic dinner I had in the hotel restaurant Touzai. I'll definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly service at the front desk and in the restaurant.
Cons: The promised free Crowne Plaza shuttle bus could only hold about 10 people and there were more than twice that waiting at the designated pick-up area. We ended up paying for an Uber ride ourselves in order to get to the hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location near airport. Shuttle to airport. Cleanliness of hotel.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Was close to Dublin airport, was able to get a shuttle to and from Hotel
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great hotel. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Walking distance to bus route. Very easy to get downtown.

Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Bar staff was rude twice. Hotel not a four star. More like a 3 or 2.5. Outdated decor. Self parking was terrible and had to pay 6 euros.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Nice airport hotel to stay at night before your flight.
Good 6.8
Pros: Great loction. It is a airport hotel that is very easily accessible to the city centre. Staff is good
Cons: We did not like that there was hair in the bath tub and all the doors slammed in hallways making it noise at night.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: * Close to the airport * Friendly, very helpful staff * Free airport shuttle bus * Clean, spacious room * Surprisingly excellent dinner * Reasonable rates
Excellent 9.7
Pros: I was very impressed with the breakfast. It included a variety of hot and cold foods, drinks, and excellent service. Staff is very knowledgeable about the different bus routes and different attractions. Very impressed .
Cons: The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but I slept fine.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We had an 11 hour flight layover. The hotel was less than 10 mins from the airport. It was clean and comfortable. This is a nice hotel and definitely fit the bill. A great place to stay
Good 7.7
Pros: Beautiful hotel, very comfortable, restaurant looked inviting though I was too late to try it.
Cons: Didn't get a lot of help trying to get myself to the airport in the morning.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The accommodation and comfort. The staff was promptly and attentive to provide any further support.
Cons: N/A
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding cleanliness and the staff are very friendly I would highly recommend to stay at the Clayton hotel
Cons: There was absolutely nothing to complain about old is like a credit to Ireland
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff extremly helpful, spotless clean room.
Cons: No complain, maybe a minibar would be fancy.
Good 7.0
Pros: Easy to find
Cons: Not enough information regarding what comes with the room- no parking, no breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Good 6.5
Pros: Resturant was convenient and food was good. Pillows were very comfortable.
Cons: Like many European hotels the american amenities were lacking, unfortunately we weren't carrying basics as the stay was last minute and unplanned, the ability to shower would've gone a long way. TV channels were very basic (maybe 20?) and at least half were not in English. But it beat spending the night in the airport for sure.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Easy airport access with shuttle bus.
Cons: Somewhat noisy because of arrival of other guests - notably aircraft crew. Parking was horrendous and there was almost no baggage carts in the parking area.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Close to airport but much nicer than typical airport hotel exp. great bar and restaurant Shuttle service very good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The shuttle was right to pick you up
Cons: The food was quite expensive and portions were small
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 24/7 access, very flexible on eating arrangements Free shuttle bus to/from the airport
Cons: No
Good 7.3
Good 6.0
Pros: The location is very convenient to the airport.
Cons: They nickle and dime you for everything.
Okay 5.0
Pros: "close" to airport with shuttle service
Cons: Too pretentiously for my taste.
Excellent 8.2
Mediocre 3.4
Pros: Nice lobby
Cons: Cleaner room
Good 6.5
Pros: Clean modern room. Staff were friendly
Cons: Quite a distance from airport. Shuttle bus provided approximately every twenty minutes. Drop off is s short walk to terminal 1. When you get out of the elevator their is s short flight of stairs which is awkward with heavy luggage. Bad design.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: location and regular 24-hour free shuttle to airport
Cons: no face cloths in bathroom instant coffee in room no herbal tea in room only Irish breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, restaurant, rooms, all great
Excellent 10.0
Pros: no base service.
Cons: no
Excellent 9.0
Pros: clean, nice, close to airport, shuttle bus every 15 minutes
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Proximity to airport.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.5
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We wanted to make the best of a long layover in Dublin so we chose this hotel. It was the perfect choice. It's about 15 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes away from Dublin's Temple Bar area. The hotel is clean, modern, and updated.
Poor 1.0
Pros: The fixtures are very nice and the site is clean
Cons: The hotel schedules loud parties that continue into the wee hours (1:30am) while a dozen or so rooms are directly above the disco. This is not acceptable. Stay away.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Staff are very friendly and helpful
Cons: It’s missing a few ash trays outside the front door of the hotel
Excellent 9.7
Good 7.0
Pros: Location to airport.
Cons: It took ages to call a taxi. I witnessed several people at the reception having the same issues I had in calling a taxi. It took over an hour for our taxi to arrive.
Good 6.2
Pros: Friendly staff, great shuttle service
Cons: Clean room but musty smell
Poor 1.0
Pros: Nothing I wouldn't go back there if it was for free
Cons: Overall a very uncaring staff I needed assistance with wheelchair to go to the airport I had to walk outside to the bus the bus drop me off some 500 yards away from gate number one my flight was a gate number two like I said I wouldn't stay there
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Loved the hotel. Started with the amazing front desk staff , Milli, was her name. She was the most accommodating person ever and was sure to take care of us immediately. Give that girl a raise! A convenient shuttle bus from the airport was also a nice touch, especially for free. We loved our nice and spacious room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Dublin, especially if they want to be close to the airport.
Okay 4.0
Pros: The premium rooms are extremely nice.
Cons: The standard rooms are dismal at best. We stayed the first night in a premium room that we had paid for, but the second night was complimentary through the airline carrier. At which time we were put in a standard room. It was like starting at the Hilton then being down graded to the red roof inn.
Mediocre 3.7
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the shower was good.
Cons: We stayed here for one night on Thursday 2 November 2017. The shuttle bus stance 16 is one of the furthest from the terminal building. It is approximately a 10 minute journey but can take longer depending on traffic and time of day. At check in the receptionist was efficient but her appearance was poor giving rise to concerns about standards in the hotel. We found the atmosphere in our room oppressive; despite the air conditioning there was no humidity at all. We tried opening the window but it was too noisy due to the hotel's engineering system. We were forced to try again later but then found that the locking mechanism on the window jammed and the night staff could not fix the issue at 3.30am so we had to put up with the noise for the rest of the night. As a result we got very little sleep. Despite the member of the night staff saying that he would report the issue, the receptionist had no record of it at check out but promised to investigate. Two days later I have heard nothing from the hotel and no offer of compensation against the prepaid charges. On the return to the airport the standing room only bus departure was delayed 15 minutes due to a driver change over with the bus engine left running. This is a very busy hotel 10 minutes from Dublin Aiport using the hotel's shuttle bus which theoretically runs every 20 minutes. The hotel is isolated at an island off the motorway so you have no alternative for food other than the hotel's own coffee shop, bar and restaurant; and prices! The bath towels were very thin. There was a hole in the bathroom sink which they had unsuccessfully attempted to cover with silicone. If I was overnighting at Dublin Airport again I would look for an alternative closer to the airport.
Excellent 9.7
Excellent 8.7
Good 6.5
Pros: Proximity to airport.
Cons: Everything beyond the room was an additional cost; coffee, tea, pricey breakfast, the slowest internet around. Not even parking validation for a one night stay. I guess I am spoiled by USA standards.
Excellent 8.2
Excellent 8.5
Okay 5.0
Pros: Shuttle to airport
Cons: Expensive
Good 7.0
Pros: Availability of room with 1 double and 2 single beds great for families
Good 7.0
Pros: Location
Good 7.1
Cons: Finding parking was difficult. Shower was either cold or scalding hot.
Good 7.0
Pros: Great location for the airport. It has a good restaurant and the bar area serves food too. Very clean and modern.
Cons: No air conditioning. 9 euros to park.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport was very convinent
Cons: The rooms were old and outdated, shower wasn't good, and bar staff were slow and ignorant
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Food is excellent!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Got early check-in. The shuttle goes quite frequently. And they have hypoallergenic pillows!
Cons: Dry air in the room.
Good 7.3
Excellent 8.0
Pros: We picked the hotel close to the airport with a shuttle service. The shuttle service is extremely convenient. We were only staying for one night before flying out.
Cons: The room smelled a bit. Everything appeared very clean however there was a lingering smell.
Excellent 8.5
Pros: Shuttle service was excellent.
Cons: No breakfast included. No other restaurants in the area to dine at.
Good 6.0
Cons: Paying for parking without previously knowing there was a charge. Bathroom was not as clean as I feel it shold have been.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: 24 hour shuttle is great. The hotel bar and restaurant are fine, and the crowd is something out of Star Wars - incredibly mixed bag makes great people watching.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great atmosphere and very modern
Cons: Instant coffee in the room
Excellent 9.1
Pros: The courtesy of staff The promptness of my getting my room The efficiency of the shuttle bus service and the willingness of the drivers to help load/unload luggage The cleanliness and comfort of the room
Cons: The one thing I intensely disliked was the €7.50 tray charge for room service, I thought it was excessive and money-grabbing. I realise there is a cost involved in providing room service, but would have thought this was probably absorbed in the room charge.
Good 6.0
Cons: We paid extra for the deluxe breakfast buffet, which turned out to be a depressing school cafeteria, complete with plastic trays still damp from the dishwasher. Not what we expected from the reviews.
Okay 4.0
Pros: It had a shuttle from the airport to the hotel.
Cons: We went down to the restaurant/bar both nights we were there and had to flag someone down after fifteen minutes to get someone to help us. They acted like we were bothering them. For such a nice hotel it was sad to be treated so poorly.
Excellent 8.5
Cons: Shuttle driver could have been more specific with terminal information at Dublin airport. We walked much more than necessary and two of our party had difficulty with that.
Good 6.0
Pros: The hotel is what one would expect from a Holiday Inn Express or similar hotel. Nothing special or fancy about this hotel. Staff isn't overly helpful or even friendly.
Cons: Don't even try going downstairs to get food at a normal dinner time, you will wait forever and that is even if you are lucky enough to be able to find a seat. You can't order room service because the actual menu with menu choices isn't available until after 11 p.m. Window will open but don't expect to sleep because you are right next to a busy road. The road noise alone is enough to make you go crazy!
Good 6.2
Pros: Food was very good
Cons: Rooms need to be updated
Good 7.7
Cons: Only down part of the entire stay was the room service. It wasn't so horrible that we wouldn't return, but 22£ for a Caesar salad that had almost no dressing on it was a bit much. The dressing also tasted just like it was a little mayo spread under a few lettuce leaves. Again. Not the worst hotel room service ever imaginable, but enough that I spent 35% of what I spent to rent the room for a salad we didn't eat. The only negative in an otherwise spotless stay.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Nothing - food was dreadful
Cons: Staff, food, service, overall a parking lot that pretends to be a hotel

Pros: Spotless clean
Good 6.0
Pros: Proximity of airport; friendly staff
Cons: Very noisy because very close to a main road; I found a few hairs in the bathroom Cold hair coming from windows
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were great
Cons: No food available and Airport shuttle not running
Good 7.0
Pros: Rooms where big enough for everyone :) Receptionist was nice :) thank
Cons: The both rooms where cold, the sink in the single room was dirty, We told the receptionist at night time that we wanted late check out, and when we were staying a few weeks ago was told it was two pm, and this time at at 1pm in the afternoon a member of staff knocked to tell me that late check out was 12, and that I’d be charged for the late check out but then wasnt..
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Ian on reception was great help during our stay, everything was amazing.
Excellent 8.5
Okay 4.0
Pros: The free airport shuttle.
Cons: My room was 80 degrees and didn't get much cooler. I realize most (perhaps even all) business in Ireland don't feel like they need a/c when the island stays cool. However, in a fourth story hotel room that has been baked by the sun all day, you either need to have a/c or windows that open more than an inch to cool the room. It took an hour and 3 requests to get a couple of tiny, tabletop fans. The staff at the desk and the porter were very unhelpful. I had just wanted to spend a night resting between flights, but that didn't happen. I should have spent my money elsewhere.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The food and staff were exceptional
Cons: The shower wasnt great
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Nice room, fantastic dinner and huge breakfast. Staff were a delight
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Very clean. Great breakfast.
Cons: Room a bit hot at night
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was very pleasant and clean. The Covid procedures were clear and easy to follow and didn't detract from the stay at all.
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: This hotel was a complete rip off. The room was so old and dated and furniture was something like youd see in a hostel (absolutely nothing like the picture advertised.) Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Brown water came out of our shower when my boyfriend turned it on. We came back to the hotel at 2am from a night out and the doors to the hotel were locked. We were outside for about 10mins in the freezing cold banging on the door for someone to let us in. Eventually, a night porter let us in. I wouldnt have actually written a review had the price of the room for the room not been 130 euro for the night excluding breakfast, absolutely crazy for what we got. Wouldnt stay here again.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the built in tea cozy; bed was comfy but I was exhausted; it was not great.
Cons: Would be nice if I didn't have to pass through smoke...looks like all Irishmen smoke!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!

Okay 4.0
Pros: Comfy bed and near to airport
Cons: Cold in the room no heating, curtains blowing and the windows were closed. Had to ask for heating turning on for hot water as shower cold. No hand sanitizer in room. Was not informed about breakfast until checking out.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Good parking space, clean room, nice sorrounding, price is affordable
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It has a nice homely and friendly atmosphere.
Cons: All good
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Convenient check-in, friendly and helpful personal, location within walking distance from airport. Perfect for overnight stay to change flights.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I liked the attendant Mandy, who was manning the front desk thru the night. She was there at 4 am when I needed help. I liked the breakfast bag that she gave me. I liked when they lent me an adaptor for the electric outlet. I liked the close proximity to the bus stop bus 41 "Equestrian Center", 4 stops from the airport. 5 minutes tops. I liked the large breakfast room and the outdoor space. It must be lovely in summer.
Cons: The tv is too small and no soap on the sink to wash your hands. The heat in the room had not been turned on prior to my arrival so the room was cold.

Okay 5.0
Pros: A brilliant shower in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The smell of stale smoke in the toilet in the room. And the decor throughout is a bit dated now. Same as it was almost 20 years ago.
Okay 4.0
Cons: No hot water and room was cold
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Closeness to airport, car parking, bus to airport.
Cons: No
Good 7.0
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Location for where we needed to be the next morning. Shuttle service to airport.
Cons: No.
Excellent 8.0
Excellent 8.4
Okay 4.0
Pros: Had a shuttle bus to airport and. A small diner. Sheets were clean.
Good 7.0
Pros: Nice to have a full sized room and bathroom after the economy rooms of Italy. Water was nice and hot!
Cons: The WiFi is available if you are willing to enter your email and password. Our bathtub was elevated. Stores & mall were about a 10 minute walk away if you didn’t have a car. The shuttle from the airport ends at 23:00.
Good 7.1
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. We didn't have anyone in the room next to us, yet we could clearly hear the couple two rooms away.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Quick check-in. Friendly helpful staff, Easy to order and have dinner delivered from outside the hotel.
Cons: No elevator so needed to carry suitcase upstairs. Might be a bit difficult for an older patron.
Okay 4.8
Pros: Swords was an interesting village and was close to the airport. Great shuttle to and from the airport.
Cons: The hotel had very thin and flimsy walls. We could hear everything going on in all rooms around us and across the hall. We didn't feel like the hotel was secure. Anyone could walk in and out with no security or access card or key. Very loud most of the night. We changed hotels for our return trip to Dublin.
Excellent 8.6
Excellent 9.1
Pros: The front desk employees were very helpful, very clean and great value for the price.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic, the room clean, bed comfortable.
Cons: It was very difficult to adjust the water temperature of the shower. Could not get the wi-fi to work in the room in the morning. As there was a charge of €5 per device for a 24hr period this was disappointing. There was no trouble connecting to the wi-fi in the breakfast area though.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great value for money
Mediocre 2.0
Cons: Have to pay 2 euros per person for shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel is very tired, carpets look disgunstingly tired in corridors and rooms. Will not be staying here again, not worth the price I paid even with special offer.
