Pros (+) Close to the airport.
Cons (-) Walls are paper thin. We didn't have anyone in the room next to us, yet we could clearly hear the couple two rooms away.
Pros (+) Quick check-in. Friendly helpful staff, Easy to order and have dinner delivered from outside the hotel.
Cons (-) No elevator so needed to carry suitcase upstairs. Might be a bit difficult for an older patron.
Pros (+) Swords was an interesting village and was close to the airport. Great shuttle to and from the airport.
Cons (-) The hotel had very thin and flimsy walls. We could hear everything going on in all rooms around us and across the hall. We didn't feel like the hotel was secure. Anyone could walk in and out with no security or access card or key. Very loud most of the night. We changed hotels for our return trip to Dublin.
Pros (+) The front desk employees were very helpful, very clean and great value for the price.
Pros (+) The breakfast was fantastic, the room clean, bed comfortable.
Cons (-) It was very difficult to adjust the water temperature of the shower. Could not get the wi-fi to work in the room in the morning. As there was a charge of €5 per device for a 24hr period this was disappointing. There was no trouble connecting to the wi-fi in the breakfast area though.
Pros (+) Great value for money
Cons (-) Have to pay 2 euros per person for shuttle to and from the airport. Hotel is very tired, carpets look disgunstingly tired in corridors and rooms. Will not be staying here again, not worth the price I paid even with special offer.
