Well engineered and thought out. Droning is a pleasure. Speed limits are reasonable most of the time, roads are great! Few tolls and they low in comparison with other European countries. Congested areas can be daunting due to a few reckless high speed drivers. Just stay to the right and avoid them.

We took car at Naples airport and go directly south to Sicilia. Advise, take the smallest car you can, road are not really wide in south Italy :-)

Parking in Naples can be problematic and difficult to find. Apart from that just keep your wits about you as rules of the road don’t seem to apply to the drivers of scooters and motorbikes.
