Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was amazing!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the construction and design are wonderful
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location is very close to Robson and shopping, restaurants. Lovely home with great attention to detail. Lovely pantry stocked with tea, coffee, soda and muffins! Room was perfect size.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It’s the nicest B&b I’ve ever stayed in
Excellent 10.0
Pros: fantastic stay from start to finish - easy check-in, parking, great location, excellent value, tasty breakfast included and wifi speed was good.
Excellent 10.0
Fantastic property and the room was clean comfortable. Hosts were perfect - there if you need them with property or concierge-like help, but not in your way or hovering etc. Breakfast was excellent and home cooked. Excellent stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing 3-course breakfasts on the weekends. Very comfortable bed.
Excellent 9.1
Cons: Room was small but comfortable. Enough for what I needed, but would’ve been crowded if came with a friend. House was warm, breakfast was good when I finally tried it (skipped it first few days), and great opportunity to meet other travelers since we all had breakfast together.
Excellent 8.5
We went through a marvelous 1 evening at West Conclusion Visitor House. We would prescribe it without wavering. The warmth of the welcome, the scrumptious breakfasts, the comfy beds, wonderful stylistic layout and superb, kind neighborliness made for a genuinely vital remain. We would adore to return. Our much obliged to everybody at the Visitor House for such a cheerful time. Thank you so much! See you soon!
Excellent 8.5
Design with original artwork and amazing finishes. Also beautiful quiet rooms available in the back. Service is excellent, and the best part for some could be the 20 m beautiful swimming pool. Location was perfect. But the internet needs some improvement, as service was regularly interrupted, requiring re-entry of access code about every hour. We had breakfast just once since 08:00 am is very early for us to eat but it was a pleasant experience as all guest are seated around one table and share a conversation, the food was also very good. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely stay again while next time in Vancouver.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was beautiful, unique, so clean, and they cook the most amazing breakfast each morning and bake amazing goods in the evening. They go the extra mile.
Cons: I loved all of it.
Excellent 8.5
The house is beautiful and very well taken care of. The room is very nice with a small kitchen. It’s super cleaner and everything you need is there. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. The first two days Sebastian took care of us and he is a wonderfully positive person. Breakfast was very nice. Everyone eats at the same large table and all three days we had the most wonderful conversations with interesting guests. There were two things I did not like. Firstly every day they asked if we wanted our room tidied. Because they ask, I feel some kind of barrier to say yes. But actually I expect that they do some tidying up I don’t mean that they clean the whole room, but simply getting rid of the trash and those kind of things especially for the price of the room. Secondly checking out was a bit shallowly and not really personal. My experience with other high rated B&B’s is different and more personal. But still it’s a beautiful B&B and I really enjoyed breakfasts with the other guests, so I would highly recommend it!
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Excellent location and helpful staff/ owners
Excellent 10.0
Pros: *historic home with dramatically modern amenities. Neighborhood was so green with trees and Fall colors was amazing. *amazing attention to details -- premium touches all over *fridge w/ cold drinks, coffee, tea, home baked goods, available at all hours *breakfast was full service + super delicious, gourmet. AND accommodated a gluten-free AND vegetarian diet *breakfast was fun to meet other guests. Was interesting to talk with other guests.
Cons: *breakfast was at 8:30 prompt and cook will leave if you don't arrive between 8:30-8:50. Would have liked a little flexibility in breakfast timing - eg. breakfast is open at 8:30 and closes at 9:30, this would give us more flex in the morning. We're on vacation after all :)

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We absolutely loved the Loden!!! From the beautiful and clean room with floor to ceiling windows and the exceptional customer service we received even before stepping foot into the hotel. Staff called us before arriving, helped us with adding another day to the stay and even saved us when we left our passports in the safe after checking out! The room was lux-super warm in the freezing winter with a fabulous shower and tub and even a dyson blow dryer. Location was perfect to walk to the waterfront, restaurants, shopping and bars. Highly recommend the stay!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: personalized customer service. didn’t feel like a cattle call. felt international. staff extraordinary helpful. wanted to connect right away with our multilingual family.
Cons: none
Excellent 10.0
Pros: small, boutique hotel, excellent personal service, nice spacious rooms, beautiful bathrooms, great restaurant
Excellent 10.0
Highly recommend this Hotel! Excellent Service, Adrian & Sylvia are amazing, super helpful with everything! We have not a care in the world, we knew we were well taken care of. Love the room, fantastic location, a couple blocks from Robson st, shopping
Excellent 10.0
Small and fine - that's the loden. In addition to all the big hotel chains, the privately owned house has prevailed and set itself at the top of the Canadian hotel industry. And that's not so easy in North America. So the hotel must have its peculiarities. And yes, that's it. Nice is the location. In the middle of the city. Only a few minutes walk from the vibrant shopping district. And if you want to go to Stanley Park, borrow one of the bikes from the hotel. But that's nothing special today. Bicycles have many houses. But a hotel-own taxi not. The loden already. So if you want to dinner, for example, to Chinatown, just book the Loden taxi for free. But now the most important thing: the rooms. They are big, purist and have excellent bathrooms. Molton Brown Amenities are waiting there, coffee is available in the room and if you prefer to sleep differently, ask for another pillow from the Pillow menu. But what makes the Loden something special? The personal and really super friendly service. As a guest you really have the feeling of being heartily welcome.
Excellent 10.0
We stayed here for our anniversary and the hotel staff took wonderful care of us. The staff is very accommodating to our requests. This is one of the few hotels that offers board games as an amenity. Unique location is walking distance from many areas of interest. Complimentary parking and valet is key for out of area travelers. Thank you to David who I booked our reservation through and took care of many of our concerns. Will stay again for our next trip.
Excellent 8.5
The room was beautifully appointed, very well equipped (although we never got the hang of the coffee machine - should have asked for a demo) and the bed extremely comfortable. The location was great and all attractions within walking distance. Access to the Business Suite was very helpful in checking in and printing out boarding passes. Above all the staff were outstandingly helpful, not only with settling us in but also with suggestions of what we might enjoy and did!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: It was small, which we liked, and the quality of the room fittings and furnishing was excellent
Cons: The toilet was noisy when flushed and the bed making was not great - the bottom sheet always worked it's way loose every morning
Excellent 8.5
My wife and I had this little boutique hotel recommended to us. We had a wonderful stay. We were greeted in a warm and friendly manner. They went above and beyond our expectations. One service we greatly appreciated was the car drop off service. We utilized it to meet friends for dinner as we were unfamiliar with how to get to the restaurant. Thank you for that wonderful stay! I highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was amazing, attentive, polite. The room, while on the smaller side, was beautiful; the bathroom spacious and modern.
Cons: The bed was a little slopey but this hotel is gorgeous.
Excellent 10.0
We had a wonderful stay at the Loden hotel. We were greeted with warm smiles, bottles of water and helpful advice on eatery around the area. The rooms are beautiful and have very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms are amazing with a deep soak bathtub. At night chocolates are left inside your room. It is 5 min walk to the harbor front and an easy 15 min walk to Gas town. We used their free bikes to ride around the harbor and Stanley park. It was great to see the wildlife. We were given complimentary water and helmets. It was so much fun we did this twice. Continental breakfast was nice with good service. We had a wonderful time in Vancouver and a lot of this was due to Loden hotel. Great service! Will definitely come back.
Excellent 10.0
I was blown away by the service of the Loden. The hotel itself is very nice but it's the people, amenities and service that I was really impressed with. It's also quite but in a central location. Upon check in, Maria was super welcoming and inviting. She walked us through a map of the area and when we got to our room I soon heard the phone ringing and it was her asking if we enjoyed the room. On top of that she even pronounced my last name correctly, which is hard to do. The room had it all, a steamer, yoga mat, access to any type of alcohol you want, great toiletries and more. Each night we had turn down service where they brought us chocolates, some trail mix stuff and both tap and sparkling water. You can also use their London style car, but call in advance to reserve it. As we were departing they brought the car to the front and I noticed they left us water bottles for our trip back home. As I said this place is 5 stars all the way and I will be back. Thanks Loden for a great stay.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Friendly staff. 4.5 stars - Really nice rooms that are getting near time for updating. I will happily stay there again.
Cons: The guest rooms are starting to show minor signs of wear: HVAC - Thermostat no longer working properly; either high fan (noisy as heck) or no fan at all. Bed - getting very lumpy and needs to be flipped or turned. But overall very nice.
Good 6.8
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Felt the staff was a little stuffy; thought the room was OK, wasn't what I expected (for the price). No ice machine?! Had to call for room service to have that brought up every day...? Maybe I'm not used to boutique hotels.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Outstanding service. Rob was so helpful from the moment we checked in until we left. Helpful and responsive. The rooms are well equipped with everything, including bath robes.
Cons: The complimentary toiletries could have been better.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very courteous staff. Clean room with full facilities.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazingly Clean, yet no smell of cleansers! Love your approach to environmental waste management. Fireplace, yay! Decore, design, attentiveness of everyone who worked the reception desk and who helped me with my future booking, amazing bedding, well-appointed kitchen, comfy couch and easy chair - you guys have paid attention to Every detail!!!
Cons: Fix that toaster on the second floor 😂 Just kidding haha! (We loved everything, I’m just referring to the people on the second floor who set off the fire alarm by burning toast)
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great neighbourhood with lots of Japanese and Korean restaurants, several large supermarkets (Safeway, Whole Foods, etc), etc. Smooth check-in and check-out process and well fit-out kitchen. Very comfortable bed with a nice fireplace
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Fully equipped apartments. Excellent location.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.6
Found the apartment spacious and clean with plenty of kitchen equipment. Out of season, it was a reasonable price. Will stay here again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bed was super comfortable, and the room was lovely and spacious. The view of downtown was gorgeous, and being a five-minute walk from the Park was great. I enjoy my visit to Vancouver every time I stay at Times Square Suites, and can't wait to stay there again later this year!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean and great location
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, very clean, well-stocked condo staff was friendly and helpful.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, friendly, safe, great location
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Check-in was a breeze; rooms were large, airy and clean. It was a great view from our corner suite, and having the ability to open the windows and get a breeze in the morning was lovely. We'll definitely be staying here next year!
Excellent 8.5
Our suite was quite functional, but not elaborate. It was extremely clean with microwave, stove, coffee pot, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, etc. The staff was friendly. It would be a great place for an extended stay. The location could not have been better with public transport, excellent grocery options, an abundance of restaurants and cafes all within a block. The city centre and fabulous shopping was an easy walk as was Stanley Park and other attractions. Would definitely stay here again and wish all hotels and their staff were to this standard.
Excellent 8.5
Everything was very clean. The washer and dryer were a great addition as we had been travelling for a while and were able to catch up on our laundry with ease. The staff were very friendly and obliging. The only downside is that the hotel overlooks Robson Street, which is busy and noisy until very late at night. This didn’t bother us too much, and there were earplugs supplied in the room, but if you are sensitive to noise it is something to bear in mind.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Fully equipped kitchen was a rare find for a hotel. Hotel was very secure, including parking. Staff, who worked nights was very friendly and helpful. Gas fireplace to make the place more homey. Good restaurants, shopping and grocery right outside our do
Cons: We got a studio plus den. The pictures on the website didn'te really show how tiny the den was. Just room enough to cram in a twin bed. Our room was at the back of the hotel. Plenty of natural light in the bedrooms but none in the main area.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location, beautiful rooms, good value - - we'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Loved the room and the staff, especially Pablo. He was so helpful at any time and answered all of my silly questions. The housekeeping staff were also great as whenever I called to get more towels and ammenities, they always bought everything I needed and it was never a problem. I know it’s different times and cleaning is not done every day but they still made sure I was comfortable
Cons: The room was great and the bed was huge however was disappointed that bed on each side had big divets in it from where People had been sleeping and wore a groove/hole in the bed. The mattresses need to be ditched and new ones bought or turnover the mattress. I woke up with a sore back every morning from sleep in a valley ! If you sleep on the side the mattress you rolled into it
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved the mattress and pillows. Also the staff in front desk was very friendly and nice.
Cons: None. I loved it all
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were so lovely (thank you Pablo). The facilities were amazing, loved sitting in the pool when it was getting dark. Room was so clean and comfortable. When we needed more coffee or a menu it wasn't an issue and it was brought to our room in minutes.
Cons: Everything was amazing. The fridge in the room was a bit loud but I'm a very light sleeper so this more than likely wouldn't be noticeable to most. Also this wouldn't affect anything and I'd still stay at this hotel every time.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Phenomenal service, ambiance and pools
Cons: Thinner bed pillow option
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooftop pool and hot tub on Christmas in the snow was magical! The staff made everything really special, they were extremely attentive and when I left my expensive shampoo behind, the head of housekeeping, Maryann, called me back the following morning and offered to reimburse me because she didn’t want me having a bad feeling about my stay. I will never stay anywhere else! Thank you for making it a special Christmas in Vancouver!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: the location, the staff, the decor, the personable approach they take to help you with anything you need. The room was luxurious. clean, quiet.
Cons: I liked everything.
Excellent 10.0
I stayed in a room with a kitchen, and it had everything i needed to prepare s surprise birthday dinner. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, and really made it one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were really nice and welcoming, and the pool and hot tub area was amazing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was so helpful. Everyone there went out of their way. Great place
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I loved everything about this hotel. The reception, service, room, dining and location. I had a courtyard room which was lovely and quiet. The hotel is is downtown, but on a quiet street - walkable to shopping, restaurants, etc. Staff was wonderful
Good 7.0
Pros: Beautiful quiet room, high quality bed.
Cons: Lots of little problems add up - broken phone in bedroom, SD TV instead of HD, AC unit gave us all mild asthma. Staff had no peptol-bismol on hand late night and didn't know what it was. I'd had a surgery and was vomiting in the night and needed some.
Excellent 8.5
We booked the night in the hotel to relax and unwind and this exceeded our expectations. Great location for enjoying downtown Vancouver. The bed was really comfy and it was quiet. The large balcony was a real bonus! The staff was super, every engagement with them was pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed heat pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast buffet was delicious! I can't wait to come back. thank you for making our stay so special.
Excellent 8.5
Quaint hotel in a great location. The staff was very impressive and did a great job! They were so accommodating and professional. The rooms are fantastic! They had plenty of room, great views and were beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and they had a large screen TV as well. I highly recommend staying here. Also, eat a Cafe Medina which the hotel staff can hook you up with. Excellent! Thank you so much!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff and the amenities at the Hotel were great. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and respectful.  the front desk went above and beyond what we expected to find our group a reservation for dinner st a great restaurant.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff was so nice, car to take us to dinner, beds very comfortable, big bathrooms, luxurious robes.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I was in Vancouver for one night for an early AM meeting. I had a long day of work and travel before checking in and the staff made me feel immediately welcome. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I regret not having more than a few hours to take advantage of this property.
Cons: No cons to report
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Extremely helpful, friendly and dedicated service. Unfortunately, we were in and out quickly for an early flight, but everyone was terrific in getting us checked in, fed, and out the door to the airport on time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We arrived early in the morning from a cruise ship. The staff was so welcoming. We knew at 9am a room would not be available...so we went off to explore Vancouver. 30 minutes later we had a cell phone call that our beautiful room was available. I don't want to rant...on and on...so all I will say as a previous owner of a meeting planning company that needed to book high end hotels for my VIPS...this is a very classy and comfortable property at a wonderful rate. WE WILL STAY HERE OUR NEXT VISIT TO VANCOUVER. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was very professional and friendly. Very classy overall feel to the style of the hotel. Their was nothing I disliked about our stay. Would definately stay here again.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The room huge, staff caring, hotel conveniently located in downtown, and awesome.
Cons: Busy street during day because of near by building construction but not really an issue. Still quiet in room!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: staff, rooms, breakfast, location-everything was just perfect. we can't ask more than this. the best B&B we ever stayed!
Cons: nothing that we could point out.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Superb location right in downtown Vancouver in a gorgeous, old historic neighbourhood. Very friendly staff and delicious, fresh breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Some of the paint in my room was chipped, but it was minor.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location Breakfasts were great with a different menu everyday
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really comfy. Clean and amazing breakfast. We forgot an item when we left the hotel and they sent it through mail to us. Great staff and experience! Would totally stay there again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The breakfasts were excellent, delicious and a excellent variety, well cooked as were the cakes and cookies, that were on offer with hot/cold drinks throughout the day. The location was excellent, everything a short stroll away.
Cons: Perhaps a fresh lick of paint and new carpets, it’s such a beautiful building and it deserves it, but we realise it’s not been easy, cancellations, covid etc !!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very comfortable stay made even better by the friendly staff
Cons: Because it’s an old house, the room can be a little chilly. The B&B provides a space heater and that’s very helpful.
Excellent 10.0
EXCELLENT!!! Love this place, love the room, love the bed, love the breakfast, love the location.
Excellent 8.5
We were not disillusioned O Canada House was up there with the finest places we remained in. Our room was very clean, expansive and roomy with a really comfortable expansive super lord bed. The bedding and material are of tall quality as is the towels and toiletries. We were made to feel exceptionally at domestic by all the staff who were both inviting and supportive. Breakfast is top notch and naturally arranged. O Canada House is in a calm area and is as it were a brief walk from the city middle and great eateries. Profoundly prescribed.
Excellent 10.0
We loved the atmosphere of O Canada House, also that you could help yourself to tea, coffee, and chocolates and sweets were plentiful as well as snacks. Staff first class & extremely helpful with lovely. The breakfast was delicious and interesting. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bed also comfortable. Free parking is also available. Excellent location for downtown & Granville Island. Free parking is also available. Would highly recommend & have no hesitation of staying here the next time in Vancouver. We loved it!
Excellent 8.5
On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely host who showed us around the B N B. There is a free pantry where you can help yourself to home-baked treats and unlimited fizzy drinks/water which was a lovely bonus! There is a really cozy living room with board games available to borrow. The room was lovely - they’d even left a teddy on our bed which we thought was a sweet touch! The location is excellent - within walking distance of the shops in downtown Vancouver and close to Stanley Park (would recommend hiring bikes to cycle around Stanley park - the hosts pointed us in the direction of a cycle hire place about 5 min walk away). The only downside was that there is no air con but the host did offer us an electric fan for the night! Would definitely recommend this place as a reasonably priced place to stay in Vancouver!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was as best as it comes in Vancouver. It felt very cozy, nice interior, beautiful restaurant attached to it. Very clean and polite staff.
Cons: I couldn't find any fault with this gem of a hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: it is a awesome hotel. the food and rooms are 4 star.
Cons: there was nothing to dislike.
Excellent 8.0
The Wedgewood was a nice hotel. Big rooms, nice fixtures, great piano bar. Location wise, it is central to the city, but our view on the 6/7 floor was just other buildings., and it was quite noisy. Just surprised that it is a pricier hotel. I think I would have preferred a hotel closer to the water, as the rates are comparable. The wedgewood hype lead us to choose it over the pan pacific. I did regret it after. That said, there was absolutely nothing wrong with our stay. It was just average.
Mediocre 3.0
Cons: They were unable to send coffee to the room on a weekend, even though the restaurant was empty. Rather than wait for over an hour, my husband had to go outside and buy us coffee to bring back. Not what I call 5 star service.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff were exceptional - helpful, kind and polite.
Cons: The room’s interior design and furniture are a little outdated.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: very friendly and helpful staff on the reception desk and the waiters.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: perfect location, perfect staffs
Excellent 10.0
Very upscale, separated from the pack. This is an experience as opposed to a stay. Hands down, the best Vancouver has to offer!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Luxury and class without pretense, the Wedgewood made me feel welcome even while wearing jeans and chasing my rambunctious kids through the lobby.
Excellent 10.0
Perfectly beautiful room. It’s a great location in the heart of Vancouver and the scenery is great. The staff is very friendly and makes us feel very welcome. The shower and bath are very good. This is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept. There are very friendly and attentive staff here. It was a great surprise for them to give us a warm welcome to the whole family. The location of the hotel is very good and the facilities are great. Our children love the biscuits here, and all the staff at the hotel will wait for us every night and treat us very friendly. Our trucks were a bit too big for the hotel garage, but they parked our cars very well when we didn't ask for it.
Excellent 9.1
Pros: Enjoyed our suite with soaking tub, excellent food and staff . The location was also good , a reasonable walk to the exclusive shops in the waterfront area.
Cons: 1-Valet parking turned out to be a bad experience. We gave the keys to the valet for parking Sunday PM and when they went to retrieve it the following Tuesday AM from their parking facility, someone had shattered the driver side door window in an attempt to get Break in, despite “security cameras and limited access “. Also a 2nd vehicle experienced the same issue 2 spaces over from ours, don’t know if it was a hotel guest or not and don’t know if the area is public or not. The hotel does not take responsibility for vandalism, The management did go out of their way and was gracious in assisting with the inconvenience, That said, I had to pay for the repair out of my own pocket. Be warned that this could have happened at any of the 5 star hotels in the area with a similar valet setups and outcomes . ( according to local police, vehicle breakins are not uncommon for cars with “out of province plates”). Hotels don’t take responsibility for your vehicle unless it is a direct result of the valets negligence . Seems to me, if we must pay for valet, they should be responsible/obligated to keep our cars safe while it is in their care. 2- a minor issue was the Wi-Fi connection that was not very good in our room, 2-3 bars out of 4.
Excellent 10.0
This place is absolutely flawless in all aspect. This is a perfect place for you to completely relax. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. Concierge services are impeccable and made recommendations and helped us in booking for off hotel activities. The spa is so amazing that will make you very relaxed with their lovely steam and perfect massage. Rooms are so stunning and comfortable with bed and linens were top quality. The bar and restaurant are a must visit. The food was so fabulous with plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.
Excellent 10.0
We were welcomed by name and with big smiles by the ladies at the check-in desk - a lovely start to our second stay. Again, all staff were warm, helpful and professional with a number remembering us from our previous visit. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious with a lovely atmosphere. Our room was generous in size, extremely comfortable, with all the little personal touches you could want. The beds are large and supremely comfortable. The staff in the restaurant, especially Cole who took care of us for breakfast each morning--they were all exceptional. The hotel was second to none. Extremely clean and every little detail taken care of. Cookies left at our bedside table, when they turned down our room each evening. Beautiful decor and bedding and exceptional toiletries. You must come and experience this wonderful service of this beautiful boutique hotel. The food was fabulous! I would highly recommend this property.
Excellent 8.5
Lovely, quiet, traditional hotel is close to all major attractions. It is also attached to the lovely Bacchus restaurant. Staff are very helpful and the room is comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast is not cheap and while the service is excellent the food is sometimes mediocre. The telephone in our room didn’t work. They charge $1.00 for additional coffee pods which I find incredibly petty at this price point. The woman at the desk, while helpful, is just a bit arrogant. For these reasons I am giving 4 rather than 5 stars.
Excellent 10.0
Little has changed at this gem of a hotel located in a city that has changed enormously. Tucked away on tiny Hornby Street, the old world elegance of this hotel remains intact. We were met at the Airport by a limousine arranged for by the hotel, in spite of the fact that the flight was nearly an hour late. The traffic was fierce, another change, and though expensive it was well worth it to get to the hotel within an hour of landing late on a Friday afternoon. After checking in, we grabbed a table at the always busy Bacchus Bar. They knew how to make a martini 3 oz. of Tanqueray gin in a chilled martini glass with a dash of dry vermouth. No ice, no water, and no garnish, unless you desire such contaminants. For food we each had three wonderful sliders with red onions. Devine. Our one-bedroom suite was perfect with, something rare in hotels these days, a balcony with two chairs and table overlooking Robson Square. The suite had glass pocket doors separating the sitting area from the bedroom. Storage space was generous, with a closet in each room, and elegant dressers in the bedroom, and sitting room, as well as in the hall that connected the bedroom with the sitting room. The upholstered chairs, the sofa, and lamps were all elegant and classic in design. No new chrome and stainless steel for this treasure of a hotel. The bathroom was small but actually had a tub instead of just a shower, the latter a growing trend in hotels these days. An added bonus was the presence in the living room of a Nespresso Machine which consistently produced really fine servings of coffee, unlike that emanating from the inferior machines often found in many other hotels. Lunch in the Bacchus Bar nailed down the fact that this hotel has marvelous food. The Applewood Smoked Salmon Plate and my wife had the Cobb Salad. She pronounced it as the best ever. It is inevitable that there was one thing that spoiled the evening.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. From the most helpful and friendly staff, all of them, to the attention of waiters, bartenders, up to the Manager who stopped to chat while having breakfast. The room was large and well furnished.
Cons: Not Applicable.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was very romantic and the bath was lovely! The room service for room dining was amazing and the food was delicious!
Cons: everything was perfect!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: very luxurious setting and treated like royalty by the front desk staff. particularly impressed by the offer to try cologne from Nordstrand at concierge for my husband. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and incredibly quiet within the room. we enjoyed breakfast in bed via room service the next morning and the late checkout.
Cons: struggled to find parking near by that was safe to park my car and not expensive for parking overnight.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: a beautiful warm hotel on a cold wet evening
Cons: reservations/capacity limits for fitness but that’s Covid not rosewood
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing hotel, the hotel was decorated in such beautiful way. I love staying ath the rosewood. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms are divine.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, aesthetics
Cons: Room service
Excellent 10.0
This is a very nice hotel and the location is especially good. Our family of four travels in the United States and Canada and lives in a double room at this hotel. The beds in the room are too small, and two adults and two teenagers have no way to sleep comfortably. Not only that, our room is connected to other rooms, we can hear the call from the next door, even if he doesn't speak very loudly, we can still hear every word, as if we heard the barking. Is this a hotel that can accommodate dogs and other pets. The front desk staff was very helpful, but we were not able to change into a room and could not change to a suite of four people sleeping. Our only choice is to live in two double rooms, but in that case we have to spend too much.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Our experience there was exceptional! The staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was gorgeous and we received a free upgrade. We would definitely go back. Vancouver is a great city with something for everyone.
Excellent 8.5
If you are going to Vancouver and can save up for the bit of extra cost, this hotel is definitely worth consideration. The hotel is situated very centrally to downtown, within walking distance to Stanley Park and Canada Place. The room was large. The bathroom was almost as large, with two sinks, a large walk-in shower and a deep soaked tub. The only negative is the lack of dresser or cabinet storage for clothes.
Excellent 10.0
This is located in the heart of the vibrant downtown district and next to major attractions like Canada Place, this historic hotel is an ideal blend of history and contemporary luxury. I would like to mention the names of Joseph at Front Desk, Hai Wei at Housekeeping and Jackie at Guest Services for making our stay memorable. As we were celebrating a special day, we received a complimentary upgrade to premium room as well as complimentary dessert as turn down service. The king bed room facing the Art Gallery was spacious with very comfortable bed and bathroom with deep soaking tub coupled with separate rain shower, two vanity units and heated marble tiles. The hotel is walking distance to shops and restaurants at Burrad's avenue and Robson street. Overall our stay was memorable and we hope to comeback soon.
Excellent 8.5
The staff make the effort to get to know your name and in turn we got to know theirs. Check in was always speedy with a welcome bottle of water offered, our rooms were spacious and looked over the square to the Art Gallery. Frequent concerts are held on this square but they all seemed to close down by 9 pm. After a long flight having our room ready before their official check in time was greatly appreciated and at other times the hotel sent a text when it was ready. The bed linen was gorgeous, the bathroom amenities replenished daily, turn down service was a treat and there is a light system to let staff know when you want privacy or have vacated your room for the day and want it serviced. I found the bed and pillow too soft so housekeeping very kindly remedied that with more support under the mattress and a selection of pillows to try. The decor is old world, lots of wood paneling and subdued lighting, with various places dotted around the lobby for people to sit and rest or meet friends.
Excellent 10.0
As soon as you arrive the service goes beyond anything we could imagine. The staff make the effort to get to know your name and in turn we got to know theirs. Check in was always speedy with a welcome bottle of water offered, our rooms were spacious and looked over the square to the Art Gallery. The bed linen was gorgeous, the bathroom amenities replenished daily, turn down service was a treat and there is a light system to let staff know when you want privacy or have vacated your room for the day and want it serviced. Absolutely loved this hotel and maybe one day we will return.
Excellent 8.5
Located in the center of town, very nice decorated and with very high level amenities. It was a nice hotel, but you should improve your service.
Excellent 8.5
You can walk easily to most points of interest. The rooms are lovely, with super-comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. We love the garden bar and coffee shop. The staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Add more Amenities. Make the light level a bit high.
Excellent 10.0
The Rosewood Hotel Georgia is one of those hotels that is so luxurious that you almost don't want to leave your room. The location was everything we were looking for. In the heart of the shopping district but only a few blocks back from Canada place and the Marina. The area is very safe which was a relief for our first time visiting Canada. We stayed in a deluxe room with a huge freestanding bath tub that I ended each day in. It was also good to have the big kings bed as well as a couch and armchair. The staff were the biggest credit to our hotel experience. From the moment we walked in we were greeted warmly and offered assistance whenever needed, special thanks to the lady at reception who was trying to help me find the bus terminal at almost midnight. Nightly turn down was great to come back to with slippers and iced water waiting for you. I feel like I've been spoiled and will now compare every hotel experience to our perfect staff at the Hotel Georgia.
Excellent 10.0
This was my best experience staying in a hotel in Canada.Clean and beautiful rooms, excellent services and facilities. The cost of staying is comparatively a bit high but it is worth every penny. The staff is also very friendly and they made my stay even more memorable. Incredible experience. Nothing that I could mention now as I had a very good experience and I would also refer my friends and family.
Excellent 10.0
This was truly an excellent hotel. The staff were so friendly, helpful and always ready to serve you and make your experience at the hotel a truly great one. Our room was superb and the shower was in like a small room. The rooms had everything you needed and each night beds were turned down with fresh water and cookies left for us every night. There was a lovely pool and spa which I made use of and was very relaxing atmosphere in the pool area, food was excellent too. We only had one problem in that one night due to electrical maintenance overnight a generator outside. After we complains we were left a bottle of red wine the next night. We doesn’t drink red wine and then they knocked off our bill two of the bar meals and drinks and we found this most except able for the inconvenience. We would most definitely visit this hotel again and we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful hotel.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything!
Excellent 10.0
Cons: Rooms. Service. Location.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Excellent furnishings.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Outstanding customer service from staff at all access points. I also appreciated that while they do have an award-winning fine dining restaurant, there was also a more cost-effective cafe within the hotel for more simple breakfast and lunch options. The location is a plus; we have stayed at other hotels closer to the water but we wanted to be further in the heart of downtown to be closer to art gallery & shopping; Rosewood Hotel Georgia was perfect. Thank you Kayak for making luxury a little more affordable!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Service was impeccable. Facilities were well kept, rooms were beautiful.
Cons: A bit pricey without a discount, but absolutely amazing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything was delightful, except for figuring out the parking, which was also expensive, as all downtown parking is. Perfect location, lovely staff, extremely comfortable rooms. And to think we almost stayed at the Four Seasons!
Cons: That we didn't get to stay longer!

Mediocre 2.0

Excellent 8.0
Pros: The staff was incredible, as was the size of the room.
Cons: The AC was woefully bad; the lowest setting was 19.5c (which we chose), but the room never went below 22.
Excellent 8.5
The attention to details is quite unique, best materials and craftsmanship is evident everywhere; from the concierge to the piano player in the Lobby it just works well. Excellent service and food in the Market restaurant. We had a small emergency, no problem, had prompt first aid help, and a no-charge limo to the hospital. Needless to add that the suites are excellent and the location of Shangri-la is hard to beat. The Shangri-La is an excellent hotel. I was recently there on business for three nights, everything from the staff, to the quality of the room service food, the spa, the room itself was fantastic. There was a roomy desk, couch, and a bar area. We were there for a week and it was enough space to move around and feel like you weren't cramped. Located walking distance from the water - we had a great stay!
Excellent 10.0
Of all the hotels we've stayed at, this Vancouver Shangri-La Team epitomizes SERVICE at the highest level. You always hear the term 'you get what you pay for' but this takes the cake, you indeed get your money's worth and then some. The normal 'beyond control' physical attributes stays true to the Shangrila Brand location is amazing right smack in the center of downtown, close to pickup points if travelling to Whistler, Grouse, Parks, and other spots. Amenities are top notch; from toiletry kits (loccitane) to room fixtures, TV sets, media capabilities (chromecast, etc) to bed sheets. Internet connects automatically with decent symmetrical speeds of 20mbps for Down/Uploads. Efficiency. You tell them your preference/s in advance, and that is followed always, all the time, for the remainder of your stay. Thoughtfulness. This hotel's consideration and attention to detail are second to none. Everywhere you go, someone's always asking if you're okay or if they can get you something from a simple bottle or water, an umbrella or what not. Delightful. Problem Solving and Know How. The sincerity is almost tangible, one can really feel the desire of this team to help and be of service. Sir Avi, the gentleman on the front desk highlights this-- I lost my hat coming back from a day tour which I arranged with another operator. Yeah, am pretty sure chances of getting it back is close to zero but I tried nonetheless. Gave him a few details, and the next day, the hat was sitting on my bed with a note and a smiley. It's like having a genie on call I kid you not.
Excellent 8.5
Shangri-La is located perfectly. Only 1 block from all the high end stores which are on Alberti Street, 2 blocks from Robson Street, a 10 min walk to the waterfront, and about a 5 min drive to Gastown. The hotel offers a complimentary car service which runs until 10 pm and is first come first serve We found it to be mostly available. I would like to suggest extending the time till at least 11 pm on weekends. Shangri-La has 1 restaurant called Market by Jean-Georges. Besides indoor seating there's a very nice outdoor patio with heaters and blankets. A happy hour is held from 4-6 pm and 9 pm to close The restaurant has good food. I definitely recommend getting a couple of cocktails and the charioteer board, its really good. Don't miss breakfast, its SO fantastic! For sure get the Brioche French Toast. I'd suggest splitting that and another dish with someone. Portions are large.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Clean, modern room. Excellent lighting system (easily modulated brightness)
Cons: Lobby is absolutely dead. Fine for business, but not if one likes to feel one is in a lively, happening city.
Excellent 10.0
The Shangri-La in Vancouver excelled in every way. We were there for 6 days, during which time my husband suffered food poisoning. The staff at the Shangri-La went out of their way to be helpful and considerate during the 2 days he was poorly and confined to the room. All the staff were lovely, but I have to shout out a few who made this trip special. Avi, concierge, who went out of his way to help me with itineraries and information about Vancouver and Victoria; and was happy to chat. The whole team is lovely. It makes a difference when you walk into a lobby and you get greeted with a smile, and they remember your name. Ivonne, the head concierge has a great team. Joanne in housekeeping, who was so proud to be doing her job, always smiling and really thorough. The bar and restaurant where I felt at ease eating on my own, we also entertained here. The sous chef Alex even prepared me a special salad, although there is a small vegetarian menu. The Spa is my only criticism, the outside pool is too small. But, I still enjoyed breakfast smoothies by the outdoor hot tub! Again, lovely staff. I won't go on about the amenities, because in an hotel like Shangri-La, you expect the best. So, excellence comes down to staff and service. And, that's why I give Shangri-La Vancouver 5 stars. Thank you to all the staff there for making our stay so pleasurable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff. And you can connect cell phone to TV
Cons: Only 15 floors
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bathroom
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very nice hotel overall. Highly recommended
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was excellent, staff was attentive. Room was a decent size. Free wifi. Close to restaurants and shopping. In house restaurant had good food.
Cons: Room was nice but not out of this world for the price. Very clean, decent layout, unusually oversized bathroom, office buildings surrounding it like a fishbowl, so no privacy or real view. Lounge/lobby was uninspiring.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: perfect
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Beautiful hotel and location Restaurant is excellent Try to do a breakfast package. Well worth it.
Good 6.0
Pros: Staff
Cons: I have stayed at hotels that cost 2/3 the cost of this place in Vancouver and were just as nice if not better. I am very confused why I paid $600 a night to stay here.
Good 7.7
Pros: Well appointed, modern, spacious.
Cons: Construction noise. The hotel failed to warn us about this. We would avoided it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: cleanliness, modern, practical, amenities
Cons: the after shampoo conditioner is impossible to get out of that bottle. please change your container!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The service was outstanding. We had two suites during the day of our wedding for both wedding parties to get ready in. All of our requests were completed in a timely and gracious manner. The staff was incredibly nice and overly helpful. Thank you for making our day that much easier.
Cons: Nothing, it was a perfect stay for what we needed.
Good 6.8
Pros: The location was good -- pretty central to downtown and only a short walk to the Skylink train.
Cons: The living room was extremely small -- much smaller than the pictures on the website. It's not a room one would want to hang out in. So for the price, it didn't strike me as a good value. The check-in process occurs in a dark, run-down room in the hotel garage. I'd recommend the place for business travel. I'm not sure I'd recommend it for leisure travel.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: The staff was amazing the rooms were impeccable the views in our corner suite were amazing !!
Cons: Although the features of this hotel are truly amazing..... We were not able to stream music via Bluetooth into the stero system from our devices. My girlfriend had made a mix for my birthday celebration we had to listen to it from the iPad

Excellent 10.0
Pros: was so close to the centre, the owner was so kind and recommended many places to go check out and told us the best things to do around town!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: we received a free upgrade. the owner is super friendly and it was a pleasure to talk to him. he is such a friendly person. whenever i come to vancouver i will stay at the barclay house. oh and also the breakfast was amazing
Cons: there is actually nothing to mention :)
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Barclay House is in a great location, close to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet area. Dennis is a very friendly host and his breakfasts were excellent. I would highly recommend this place.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: We stayed for my boyfriend's birthday weekend and it was amazing. The staff was all incredibly friendly and nice! The breakfasts were gourmet and absolutely delicious. We loved all food we had. They took the time to attend to our needs, even went out of the way to get us orange juice when they didn't have any there! Super accommodating. We loved the location being so close to so many fun things to do in Vancouver, and being able to park our car here for free was a huge plus as well! Room was very comfortable and spacious. It gets a little cold in the bottom rooms but they had a heater there to take care of that! Overall, an amazing experience and we will absolutely be back again in the future!
Cons: We loved our stay, there's nothing really bad to say! The only issue we encountered was in the room with the jacuzzi tub, the drain closure wouldn't stay down so it made it very hard to keep the tub full, so hopefully in the future that will be fixed. All in all, great experience!
Good 7.0
Pros: Stellar location within walking distance of downtown and Stanley Park. Very homey accommodations and wonderful host.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: charming building, clean, comfortable and great breakfast. Great location
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really good house owner beautiful Christmas decorations, good breakfast
Excellent 10.0
Pros: it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Dennis made us feel welcome and cooked great breakfast!
Excellent 8.5
Wonderful hotel. Some of the rooms have 4 meter ceilings, however, these seem to be in the front of the building where there is some street noise (despite three layers of glass windows).
Excellent 8.5
Barclay Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, big, old house with a lovely garden entrance located near downtown within walking distance (for good walkers) to English Bay and Stanley Park. Good eateries and restaurants are also nearby. We had a wonderful accommodation, a top floor suite called The Peak and a delicious breakfast in the morning. Dennis, the owner, is a pleasant, friendly man. He is helpful and also has good suggestions for what to experience during your stay in Vancouver. His staff is also pleasant and eager to please. We enjoyed our three night stay and would highly recommend Barclay B and B. Barbara and Larry Marlow Toronto, Ontario

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Super friendly staff, great central location, and very comfy bed. We hugely appreciated the staff offering us both an early check in and a late check out. They always greeted us with a smile!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Love the location, good waffle / breakfast place close to the restaurant and good restaurants to have dinner. Room is modern and up to date !
Cons: Mattress was extremely soft, didn't sleep that well because of that unfortunately.
Okay 4.0
Cons: Charged my card once for “pre payment” then charged my boyfriend card twice and having to wait days for money back if we even get it.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: All I have to say is that is our 3rd time staying at Hotel Blu. We already feel like is home when in Vancouver.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great modern rooms, coffee maker was great. Convenient location - not right in the center of Robson St but a 2 min walk to where the main action is.
Cons: Nothing, great stay!
Excellent 10.0
I never write reviews but this hotel was great all around. From the staff to the cleanliness, we had a great time!
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Room was excellent, as was location.
Cons: I should have been told upon booking or registering that I would be charged for parking, and the amount. I would have been fine with it but wasn¿t pleased about the surprise on the back end,
Excellent 9.6
Very clean and modern hotel located almost across the street from BC place stadium downtown. Rooms were spacious with all the amenities you would expect. Very friendly and courteous staff.

Cons: Location could have been a little better, but Vancouver is a large city!!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The location
Cons: The bed
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fastest check in I've ever experienced. Front desk staff was fantastic; always willing and ready to help. The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool was nice and always a necessity for us when we look for accommodations.
Cons: We would have liked for breakfast to be included, especially at the price of the room but there are a few places close by and can always pay for breakfast at the hotel too....it looked delicious!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff was so helpful especially the concierge!! The room was perfect and really liked the hard wood floors in the room. The bathroom was perfect with a huge walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were very soft.
Excellent 8.5
Can't say enough about the fantastic location of this hotel! Lots of good eatery, shops and not terrible walking distance to many area attractions. The hotel is a hotel and a permanent residence, so that was different. Nice pool, hot tub area. The small breakfast restaurant they have there is home cooked, not many choices, but what they have is good. The loft suites a spacious, nice balcony, good sized bathroom and nice bed. The staff was helpful, quick to point out good nearby places to eat, and things to do and see.
Excellent 8.5
The staff were super friendly and helpful. In particular, Jill and Benjamin made big genuine efforts to get to know us and make us feel welcome. Thanks so much to both! There are many positives to this centrally located hotel in downtown Vancouver. It is a short stroll up bustling Robson st to lots of eateries and the shopping district. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and a pharmacy. Starbucks, McDonald's (24 hrs), 7 eleven and a big IGA supermarket are close by. A short walk to Yale town (up to 10 mins) will take you to the water and ferry. We did this twice to ferry to Granville Island for the vibrant atmosphere at the food market. Chinatown is also nearby. The hotel room was spacious and clean, and the shower was huge (not in a bathtub).
Excellent 9.5
great location and friendly staff.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Such a lovely hotels. The room was nicely decorated, shower was hot & powerful and the daily breakfast was delicious. The staff were super helpful too, we would definitely return.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly.
Cons: While understandable, due to COVID some amenities were suspended. Microwave in room would be nice. We have a family of four and as such large trash receptacles (maybe in ice rooms) for guests to discard their waste
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Next door to transport links, shopping and not far from the airport
Cons: Breakfast cancelled and replaced with boxed food due to Covid and hotel bar was shut for holiday season. I was only made aware on arrival at the hotel.
Good 7.0
Pros: Room space and facilities
Cons: No microwave. Dining area closed resulting to cold breakfast box which was dissatisfying because it was very Average cold in the room and outside. We had to go out to buy a warm breakfast. Also this was not mentioned at the time of reservation. Also plumbing issues arose and was out from 10am to 3pm. We couldn’t sleep in past 9am for this reason and then the cold breakfast!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: great decor and helpful, friendly staff
Cons: the view
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very clean room and hospitable staff
Cons: It's quite expensive.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel has the perfect location within the city, the staff are very attentive, the room was very clean and nice, and overall we had a great experience.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
As others have said this centrally placed small hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff team, nothing is too much trouble and they make great suggestions of places to eat and visits to make. No enquiry seems to faze them, indeed the young lady at Reception was even able to suggest where I might buy treats for my dog who is back at home in UK. She was absolutely correct too and she did not bat an eyelid when asked. Gold star service with a big smile. Our room was spotlessly clean, it was decorated in modern subtle tones, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom had lovely towels and delicious complimentary L’Occitaine toiletries. Our request for decaf coffee for the machine was met immediately and supplies were replenished daily. On several days we took advantage of the included breakfast which offered 3 choices of freshly prepared food with juice and hot drinks. All was enjoyable and appreciated. We would not hesitate to return to the St Regis and believe it to be an exceptional hotel which prioritises customer service to the utmost.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, good location, fantastic and friendly staff. Everything was quality.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent choice, great location, great service, breakfast, everything was really good, we were impressed. The room is a bit small but nice and has everything you need. Best value for money.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The service was excellent! The room decoration is decent and clean. The Granville train station and shopping mall are right next to the hotel.
Cons: Parking is $40 with hotel, but you can park at nearby st like Howe or Horney for $12-18/day. Street noise might be bothering but we don‘t have problem sleeping.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Very comfortable and the staff were extremely accomodating.
Cons: No spa facility onsite.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: easy walking to Gas Town. Nicely updated. Very nice luxury bath features. Small room but ccmfortable with everything we needed. Friendly courteous staff. Great breakfast
Cons: Bed too soft for my back. Pillows too large.

Poor 1.0
Cons: I sent a guest to stay and paid with my rewards. It was a complete gong show and stressed out my guests who were asked to pay the bill. I've never had this issue before. Part of the problem was the rewards company as well. I prepaid it for a reason. Not sure how things have changed since covid, but i guess I'm going to have to ensure this never happens again when prebooking and paying in advance....
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Fantastic room views and excellent breakfast, even during covid times! Thank You to the team!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Amazing views and great location
Cons: Due to covid the gym was closed and we had to wait for the bar
Excellent 10.0
Pros: staff and location
Cons: restaurant was not open
Excellent 9.7
Pros: The staff were wonderful.
Cons: A balcony would be nice
Excellent 10.0
Fortunately for me, I can live in the Fairmont Pacific Hotel, and unfortunately for me, I can only stay for one night. From the first person I met until the moment I left, the employees were always great. If you can, go to the gold floor and enter the Golden Lounge and all its amenities. My room is beautiful and I can see the scenery of Canada. The bathroom is large, the shower and bath are separate and there is plenty of counter space. The bedding is made of beautiful linen and very comfortable. This hotel is a short walk from the city centre. If you like, there is also a free car. You can send it to wherever you want to go.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Location to Stanley Park, Staff, lounge with live music, good gym, proximity to everything
Cons: Couldn't extend stay for even 1 hour, everything is pricy
Excellent 10.0
We enjoyed our stay at the Pacific Rim, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Vancouver. It’s a gorgeous hotel, they seem to genuinely care about guests and are proud of the quality of what they offer. The Cafe, the lobby bar, the Botanist restaurant, the concierge, front desk, bellman, pool staff members and servers, were all equally superb in terms of service and quality. Unfortunately, we tried to use the gym it was too busy and crowded. The rooms are pristine, comfortable and the views are unbeatable. The decoration/look is somewhat masculine in style and is very tasteful. We had friends attending a conference at the CC so location was ideal, also so convenient from Helijet and Harbour Air. The property has a very calming and zen atmosphere but doesn’t feel snobby. Will definitely be back.
Excellent 8.5
The Cafe, the lobby bar, the Botanist restaurant, the concierge, front desk, bellman (helped us with bicycle rentals), pool staff members and servers, were all equally superb in terms of service and quality. Unfortunately, both times we tried to use the gym it was too busy and crowded. The rooms are pristine, comfortable and the views are unbeatable. The decoration/look is somewhat masculine in style and is very tasteful. We had friends attending a conference at the CC so location was ideal, also so convenient from Helijet and Harbour Air.
Excellent 8.5
If you don't stay on the Gold floor, Fairmont Pacific Rim is basically just like any other four/five star hotels with arguably nicer amenities. The toiletries come in smaller packages and the in-room amenities such as TV are smaller as well on regular floors. The Gold level really takes everything to the next level and gives it an exclusive boutique feel. The private lounge is a nice place to relax and enjoy some good food. We did find that the quality of food seems to have gone down a little bit as our visit last year had more expensive offerings both in the evening canapes and the desserts. We also did not find any more loose leaf tea offerings in the lounge.
Excellent 10.0
Great hotel, wonderful staff and exceptional service. Located right next to the waterfront gives you access to the seawall, Stanley Park, historic Gas town and the convention center. The bar in the lobby is fun and bustling with daily music. perfect location to unwind. The Botanist is a welcome addition to the Vancouver foo scene. Beautiful hotel next to the bay. Stunning rooms, beautiful atmosphere in the lobby. You should definitely try the pancakes with bacon. Simply delicious.
Excellent 10.0
My wife and I have been married for a year, and we decided to go all out, and stay at the fairmont pacific rim Gold Level. When i looked at 5 star hotels in Vancouver, this was the most expensive one, but at the same time, if you don't pay for the best, you won't get the best! I have stayed in many hotels around the world, many 5 stars as well. We received a complementary upgrade upon check in, to the Gold Room with harbor view, so we were happy! We went for a quick walk around the gold lounge where everything was explained to us by the lovely gold lounge concierge. This is by far one of the better hotel lounges I have been to, it was quiet and it had a lot of seating areas, so me and my wife were able to relax on a nice couch whilst we had some complementary appetizers. Once we got back to our room, we discovered that there was no bath tub in the room, a very nice spa shower, but we both like to have baths. So I went to speak to the gold concierge once again, and asked her if we could switch. She said she had 1 room available, but it was 50$ extra, which i was hesitant on because i had already paid a lot for my gold level room. She could see the concern on my face and asked if I wanted to view the room to see if I really wanted the upgrade. I entered the room, and walked into the bathroom, picture attached, and I just said yes, take my money. I have not had a view or a bathtub like that in a hotel before! After spending more time in the lounge, we returned to our room, and the hotel manager had sent us a bottle of champagne and some chocolates to congratulate us on 1 year wedding anniversary. Service was great all the time, the staff seemed genuinely nice and were very helpful without being annoyingly so. To summarize, if you want luxury, stay here, if you can, go for the gold level, it is worth every penny.
Excellent 10.0
Our room this time was a Signature Harbor View Room and it was just that. Located on the 15th floor the beautiful view looked west over the harbor and Stanley Park. Everything about the room was great and similar to my last room. The bathrooms really shine at this property. They are large, marble clad with double vanities and huge tubs. We found more variety in breakfast, canapes and desserts now with higher end ingredients and clever mix of flavors. We were offered free breakfast/brunch in their newly opened Botanist restaurant, and we can safely say that the Gold lounge breakfast is just as good if not better. The service was again on point for the whole stay. The concierge was helpful with securing dining reservations and other tickets as well as arranging for a holiday wreath for our room. This time the new restaurant Botanist was open and we spent many nights at the bar which we preferred to the lobby bar as it was a little quieter and removed from the action in the lobby. One bartender in particular, Roland, provided excellent service and remembered our drinks in the second night and each night there after. This property just elevates a vacation and I hope I will get a chance to return for a third visit soon.
Excellent 10.0
I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to anyone. The room itself was gorgeous, clean and modern. Our room was overlooking the pool and also had a patio featuring an electronic fireplace, so we could enjoy watching the mountains in the backdrop over morning coffee. The Smart controls in the room make everything easy and fun. There's a digital screen in your bathroom mirror. Coolness exemplified. The hotel offers complementary car service in a luxury vehicle and BMW bikes in excellent condition. We took advantage of both. The location couldn't be better. Close to the bike path leading to Stanley Park and walking distance to the free Capilano Bridge shuttle. The room service was scrumptious, and the dining at the ridiculously pretty Botanist was unbelievably good. If you are an American Express Platinum holder and book this hotel via your card, you get to enjoy breakfast here for free every morning. There's no limit to how much breakfast you want. It is taken care of. What a deal. Live music every night. There's always a lively buzz happening in the lobby. The spa is available to guests, even without service. Cuddling up in the outdoor relaxation area overlooking the city with a cup of tea in your hands is a perfect way to either start or end your day.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Service, food, bar, comfort, views of the bay
Cons: Pool too small and no life, concierge only so so
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Service. Outstanding
Cons: Nope
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Personal service! Every need is met. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure our stay was the best it could be. For instance, Chef Nathan, who we met upstairs while looking over the menu, offered to make us special dinners in preparation for our marathon the next day. He led us to the casual restaurant and custom created pasta dishes for us! What a treat! It was delicious! Also, every encounter was greeted with such politeness! The live music was awesome. We were on the street side and it was quiet, unlike another report. I LOVE THIS HOTEL!
Cons: Loved everything about it. Will be back!
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Good location near Canada Place and the waterfront. Walking distance to Gaslamp. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We had an issue with noise due to some late-night partiers and management upgraded and moved us the next day after quieting the offending room. Couldn't be happier with the quality and cleanliness all throughout. The cafes and restaurants were very convenient as well. We traveled with our three young children and everyone was very nice and respectful the entire time, we never felt out of place. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but could see that it was being used by kids on both days we were there. Room service was fantastic and the service was great as well.
Cons: Not much we didn't like. It was a bit pricey but we felt we got great value considering it is a luxury property.

Pros: The room is large and very luminous (lots of windows with views of downtown). It's close to many restaurants, park, and the water.
Cons: The wifi was spotty. We lost it at some point. The breakfast at the hotel was average but we had no time so decided to have it there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I like the location. It’s close to everything. The hotel is clean.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Hotel had clean, modern rooms, the pool and hot tub were great and the location and staff were excellent.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Everything about this hotel is top-notch. It is located in the center of the Korean town neighborhood (Downtown), prime location. Customer service is great, underground parking next to the hotel, great facilities, big nice to be in rooms. Depending on the time of year can be a great value for money.
Excellent 9.6
Great experience. They upgraded us to a corner suite which was super nice. Hotel is dated but the room was nicely updated. Clean and comfy. Nice beds and linens. Best location in Vancouver.
Excellent 10.0
We arrived a little earlier than anticipated and were able to check into our room immediately. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful volunteering options for sightseeing and eating. The room was spotless and fresh with a great view of water and mountains. We were abl
Excellent 9.6
Room was great! We had an ocean view with a king size bed and that was gorgeous and so spacious. Everything was clean and we loved it. Also we walked into the room and were greeted by a lovely smell (air freshener?) which was a nice surprise! Location was nice as well!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The most comfortable bed on the planet Very clean and inviting room
Okay 4.4
I would consider walking a few blocks

I arrived at Blue Horizon Hotel on August 14, and went to check into our room and asked the staff where is the recommended parking. The next morning as my family and I were heading to our car we saw our car glass was completely smashed from behind. We had to go to the front desk multiple times, and finally got assistance to clean the glass. But the custodian came 45 minutes late, which further delayed/ruined our trip. When we reached out to the manager, she responded in a very unpleasant manner. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, as it has no care for it's customers, and does not deal with customer conflict professionally.
Excellent 10.0
Loved our stay here! Staff were amazing, rooms were nice and they were clean. Definitely recommend staying here.
Excellent 10.0
Although we only stayed one night, the establishment was clean. We loved our room which was very roomy. The location is perfect. There were restaurants right in front and it was close to everything.
Excellent 10.0
I will always prefer to stay , friendly service
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Hotel was clean and rooms were big and roomy. Staff was courteous.
Cons: Needed a bit of housekeeping with garbage pick up and toilet paper replacement - likely just because of the pandemic and new rules, but a quick check in would be great to see if we needed things.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Rooms have lots of character, pool & spa area clean and inviting, friendly, helpful staff, experience was refreshing change from other hotels.
Cons: Concerns about parking security.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Clean, quiet, easy access through lobby
Cons: TV did not have CBC or CTV news channels
Excellent 10.0
Everything about it was great!!
Excellent 8.8
Really well located with great sized rooms and fabulous views. Staff were amazing. One of my worldwide favourite hotels. Won’t disappoint.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Everything else is great!
Cons: I really wish there was delivery for food. I often find after a long day of travel that once I get to my room and shower/take off all my makeup. I dont want to put it back on to just go downstairs. I really dont mind paying a fee for delivery. I'll even tip, I just need my stay to be easier. Also the room key cards always have issues when I stay. I feel a bit trapped by that as well sometimes. Dont take any of this as mean or snooty please. I will stay again regardless.
Excellent 10.0
This is a very beautiful hotel with a great location and easy access to all parts of Vancouver from the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The gentleman wished me a happy birthday and our room was upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking the English Bay. The scenery here is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The shower was awesome and my nephew had a great time at the pool every night. Parking here is a bit expensive, but it is very convenient, I think it is worth the money, because every day you can park your car very close to the hotel door.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: excellent location, very nice ocean view from the room
Excellent 9.0
Pros: This was our second stay with Blue Horizon. The staff were very professional and friendly. Our room was a suite with plenty of space and a great view. Top floor provides a stunning view all the way around the city.City view, Ocean, Mountains & Forest! Downstairs on Robson street, there is plenty to do, see and eat. Fantastic Korean drinking bars, Japanese ramen & plenty of retail shops are downstairs. Shops that sell cosmetics, clothing, luxury items and sweets are within minutes of Blue Horizon Hotel's front door, head towards Howe St. note: There is a bus that runs up and down Robson St. The bathroom was clean with a spacious walk in shower. Complementary soap, shampoo, Keurig, bath robes, coffee, ect were provided with our room.
Cons: I was disappointed in the lobby restaurant Abode's attitude towards not returning my call for breakfast. I waited 1 hr after leaving my voicemail to request breakfast. Once I called back and they said they didn't see my voicemail for breakfast. No sorry about that, or our bad. They didn't care, so I didn't tip. ( I'm willing to pay more for delivery or better service. Please consider adding that to the menu. ) Abode does not deliver to the rooms in the hotel building upstairs. There is a elevator to all levels. This is particularly annoying when I had to then re order and go downstairs to get my breakfast at this point 1.5 hr late from my original breakfast call.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautiful room! When we arrived, we were informed that our room had been upgraded. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Would definitely choose again.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view was amazing and the room was comfortable.
Cons: No
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, hop on hop off bus right in front of the hotel.
Cons: Did not have a valet to help with luggage when we got to the hotel. The garage did not have a temporary parking for the hotel guests for check in. I had to bring down 6 suitcases on a trolley by myself down the garage ramp.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The view from the hotel
Cons: Shower door wasn't closed all the way. It kept open while showering.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Friendly staff, size of the double bed room, cleanliness, location ( mid way between Stanley park and English bay).
Cons: Some noise in the corridor from other guests late at night but we understand there is not much the hotel can do about it.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: It was down town Vancouver
Excellent 10.0
Pros: View. Simple elegance.
Good 7.0
Pros: The hop-on-hop-off bus stop right in front of the hotel most centrally-located Hotel
Cons: The price was way too expensive for the level of hotel that it was matter of fact all of vancouver is over-inflated in price. Very disappointing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The bed was great. The location was Central to a lot of shops and restaurants. The view from the rooms was breathtaking. I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: Chairs in the balcony would have been nice. I wanted to enjoy the sunset and the amazing views.
Good 7.0
Pros: Terrific location
Cons: There is nothing to *dislike*, but it's just a room in a building (with a great location). The room / common areas are all pretty limited and basic. It's fine. While we were there the elevators were operating very poorly; wait times of up 30 min.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: The room and everything was good, but the night staff did not let me know you needed a key to get into the hotel and my friend was unable to get in even though I left a key at the desk for him.
Cons: Same as above
Excellent 10.0
An extremely comfortable hotel in the heart of a major city. The Blue Horizon is a large “boutique” hotel that is close to most everything. This hotel is actually made with Italian mosaic blue tiles. Even with the other high rise buildings, it is hard to miss this hotel. Located on Robson, this hotel has access to shops, restaurants and close by is the famous Stanley Park. The front staff is friendly, courteous and can answer almost every question. If you are driving, the entrance to the parking garage is next to the front desk. There are actually spaces to park, check in, and then continue to drive up the ramp. The parking fee is quite reasonable
Excellent 8.5
The front staff is friendly, courteous and can answer almost every question. If you are driving, the entrance to the parking garage is next to the front desk. There are actually spaces to park, check in, and then continue to drive up the ramp. The parking fee is quite reasonable. Our first booking was with a third party. Every room is comfortable, but some rooms have better views than others. We booked for early August for five days and received a room facing other high rise buildings. Little did we know that facing towards Robson we could have seen the Pride Parade and a unique fireworks display. We were able to view the fireworks through a reflecting window from another building.

Our second visit, a week later from our first, we made sure to have a room facing Robson and the bay. If you can swing the cost, these rooms are superior. Our room was large, clean and inviting. Most rooms have modern walk-in showers. If you want a bathtub, request one. The beds are extremely comfortable. No back aches here. There were actually three sheets and a duvet bedding. There was a good size mini-frig and a Keurig coffee maker. Plenty of electrical outlets and a desk. The room was soundproof. There is no breakfast associated with the hotel, but a restaurant, The Adobe, is on premise. There is, too, an inviting indoor pool on one of the bottom floors. If you haven't done the Capilano Suspension Bridge, it is well worth a visit. The free bus to Capilano will stop and pick you up in front of the Blue Horizon. Ask for a discount coupon from the front desk. Also, Capilano will accept AAA.
Excellent 8.5
Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Large room, no noise from other guests, wonderful beds, extremely clean bathroom, a pool, a hot tub, a sauna. And a good quality restaurant in the lobby. Will definitely stay here again if I return to Vancouver. Wonderful view from the room as well (own terrace!), located in a street with many shops and restaurants (but no noise inside). It was also very central and adjacent to public transport. We would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay here when returning to Vancouver.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great location on Robson, walking distance to Stanley park, food, shopping and Long walk to Granville Island, decent food in adobe downstairs, all corner rooms which is cool.
Cons: Hallways are narrow and hot/stuffy. Staff decently nice but really busy so a little hurried.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I'll come back to this hotel . Everything is
Good 6.0
Pros: the view, the location,
Cons: overpriced, hotel just generally need an update and some attention to detail if they're going to charge those rates.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great upgrade, the view of the City was great.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The vibe and location is awesome!
Cons: Nothing. All was great!
Good 6.8
Cons: Noisy,thin walls
Excellent 9.7
Pros: Loved being in the middle of the action on Robson street & walking to all of the shops.
Cons: I did not like the tiny bathrooms.
Good 6.5
Pros: The staff was very friendly. The location was very nice. The view was amazing.
Cons: Lots of noise. We could hear neighbors just talking and laughing until 2:30 in the morning. You can hear all the traffic and business noises. No information on simple things like ice machines or vending machines.

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Central, clean, everything we needed.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location, price, decor
Cons: Fan was broken and really loud all night, shower was also falling from wall, staff were a bit dismissive.
Good 6.0
Pros: Amir from the hotel personnel was just awesome! so helpful and welcoming and understanding! The building was close to the amazing downtown tourist attraction locations like the science center, gas town, Canada place, art galleries, Stanley park.
Cons: Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, the blanket was way thinner and less warm compared to the ones you usually see in other hotels and their extra blanket was even thinner and it was very upsetting in the cold Christmas season. Room thermostat was not working well and at 32 degrees the room was still cold.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location and room size
Good 6.0
Pros: When we arrived the main lobby was freezing. our room was also blowing freezing cold air. It took
Good 7.0
Pros: Location was terrific and very quiet rooms
Cons: Room was not clean Advertise coffee in room but actually only espresso option Sheets too small for bed Room was not cleaned well
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Close to many great restaurants and shopping
Excellent 8.0
Cons: Was surprised there wasn't a bathtub. I hadn't even thought to ask about that! Was looking forward to a bubble bath but there was only a shower.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff, esp. Riley made our stay exceed our expectations. Riley went out of her way to help my husband set up some special Anniversary surprises! The room, though basic was newly renovated and very clean...the bed was amazingly comfortable!!
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Beautifully updated bathroom.
Cons: The TV had channel issues.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Amazing staff! Hotel employee worked the front desk most times we were there and is absolutely wonderful. Location was great and everything was well maintained. Highlight recommend.
Mediocre 3.0
Pros: The location.
Cons: Room had clearly not been dusted in awhile. The bedroom lights were terrible and so bright I couldn't have them on. The shower clearly also had not been wiped out as there was hair. I was so disappointed I thought about cutting my trip short.
Excellent 8.4

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: No muffins on the menu for breakfast.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very helpful staff, nice rooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location in downtown Vancouver. The bathroom was very modern with a rain shower. Very clean and the staff were very helpful. Parking was very convenient as well.
Excellent 9.4
Cons: Price
Good 6.0
Pros: location was great. Nice clean rooms.
Cons: Disappointed no room service after 11pm. No vending machines on site. No stocked mini frdge. Beds very uncomfortable. Construction noise from next door annoying. Expected more from 4 star hotel
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staf very helpful n show an interest when u have a question Shuttle to train was a help Great coffee maker n free filtered water Right one block n lots of restaurants as u walk to main shopping street
Cons: No menu for restaurant in room Business center scan/fax option not set up but manager was glad to know this so it could b corrected Please tell Clint’s planning to walk from sky train at night to use one of the budier streets
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was well-lit and easy for 2 people to get ready, and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We had everything we needed and would be happy to stay again.
Excellent 8.5
The room was very clean and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and we had a sitting room with couch, desk, table & chairs. The closet held a yoga mat and umbrella, the latter a necessary item in Vancouver in September. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location, across from the stadium, a short walk to Yale Town and Gas Town and around the corner from Robson Street. It’s close to the public transportation, although we walk everywhere we wanted to visit.
Excellent 8.5
We all stayed at this wonderful hotel and were treated like valued guests. The rooms were spacious, clean and affordable. The hotel has an attached restaurant called Frankie's Italian Kitchen and Bar that serves scrumptious food which everyone enjoyed. And the hotel is within a 5 minutes trek to Roger's Arena. Awesome! And, if you desired to go downtown they have a shuttle that is manned by wonderful, courteous, informative drivers. What more could you ask for. However, the best part of the whole stay was the hotel staff. A special shout out to Susan Leung, Director of Sales. Susan could not have been more accommodating to my group. She's the best. And Mohamed Walaf, Reservations Manager took care of some last minute changes that we had incurred with class and friendliness. Just the type of person you want greeting guests. And the housekeeping staff were magnificent. Our rooms always looked like they were brand new everyday. Bravo!
Excellent 8.5
Only staying one night but service from check-in to departure was excellent. Helpful desk staff with friendly attitude. Late checkout not possible because busy weekend but took care of baggage foe few hours without problem. Room spotless and very comfortable bed! The hotel staff was always helpful and friendly. The room, lobby and staff are all first class. I would definitely recommend staying here!
Good 6.5
Pros: The hotel staff was absolutely friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and very clean, with a Nespresso machine.
Cons: For such a nice property, I found the noise pollution from the hallway to be very problematic. The door was not well-insulated - I could hear every word spoken in the hallway, not to mention noise from other rooms down the hall. For what I paid, this is an unforgivable oversight. Also, the housekeeping calls at 8:30 each morning were a little ridiculous.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The proximity to BC Place and Rogers stadiums was excellent. The street that the hotel is on is not overly congested and you are really walking distance to much of Vancouver's downtown and several districts.
Cons: The restaurants and bars immediately nearby, close at 10pm. So as soon as a show or game is over at BC place or Rogers theater, you better head for bed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were directly across the street from our events and we were treated like royalty from the excellent staff!
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Close to all the places: downtown, beach, restaurants and shopping area
Cons: Could hear everything inside the rooms. Staff kept asked four times about check out which is ridiculous service. The in room dining service was poor. Nobody answers phone call.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Loved the included bikes and steamroom
Cons: It appeared that we arrived during a meal break or such as there was only one reservationist at the front desk who became overwhelmed trying to check in three groups while answering the phone, etc.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything else was great.
Cons: The fire alarm went off and we were all evacuated. The firemen came and it was a false alarm. We went back to the rooms and it went off again. We were asked to evacuate a second time but the cleaning crew told us not to pay attention and sure enough 1 minute later it stopped. The firemen came a second time and the assessment was that the equipment is outdated and needs to be updated. Kind of a crazy morning.
Excellent 9.7
Pros: In front of the stadium and right around the corner from many many restaurants, stores and sights.
Excellent 9.4
Pros: Location, location, location. Close to opera house, Gastown, and great restaurants. Loved the fact that carpets have been replaced by hard flooring. Very quiet and clean.
Cons: A little on the expensive side for an older hotel with few amenities, but the location is worth it and the beds are comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location, price, comfortable room
Good 7.4
Pros: Great downtown location, within walking distance to everything
Cons: The staff was, at times, short and unaccommodating. Our room key had to be replaced 3 times due to it not working in the elevator.

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was good, Housekeeping good, comfortable beds
Excellent 9.0
Pros: The suite was in a great location, loved the views. It was very comfortable and we'll furnished.
Cons: Some of the taps leaked when the cold water was turned on
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Central location. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean.
Cons: Unfortunately, gym facilities closed firstly due to renovations and then covid restrictions.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Location was exceptional. The size of the suite was excellent check-in and check -out was easy. The staff were genuinely friendly and happy to help. The suite was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The property was clean and quiet. Covid19 protocols in place. Security measures taken in the property with guests keycards to move around the property and security guards overnight. We extended our stay from 3 nights to 5 nights with ease. Whether a short trip or an extended stay the Carmana Plaza is an excellent choice. Fantastic!
Cons: The parking stalls for guests is deep underground. You feel as though you are driving around with no end. The suite we had a pull out bed which was nice only to find out that in order to use it there is a $20 charge to unlock the bed. Assuming I am there with family or my child or a co-worker not only am I paying for the suite that is made for 2 adults maximum the property charges $20 / night to use the pull out bed. Please note I was there with my partber but if I was staying with my son for example or a sibling and I book a suite and have to pay for them to sleep on the couch bed. I think that is ridiculous. They do have suites with 2x beds but the suites are not built that way. Either way other than that I still had an enjoyable stay.
Poor 1.0
Cons: the mattress sucks!! my back and neck hurt the next morning. the pillows are also horrible
Excellent 10.0
Pros: For us it was a home far away from home!!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Even through heavy snow and arctic overflow winds, our room was so warm! Heat and humidity was so heavy, we had to turn it down a touch. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to make this house feel like a home. I like the complimentary slippers, bath mat, and water they give you, very thoughtful!
Excellent 8.5
The room was exceptionally roomy and the kitchen was clean. Lavatory was little but had an incredibly effective shower. The front office staff were inviting and the area was exceptionally helpful for down town and shops. In spite of this I would remain once more. There's a awesome grocery store inverse the inn called Urban Fare. The nourishment there's astounding and we shopped there a part and ate on our overhang.
Excellent 8.5
Carmana Plaza is located within walking distance of local attractions. The rooms are very clean and plenty of room. We find the rates to be reasonable and the fact that they included parking is a bonus. It's nice to have an outside balcony and the little kitchenette is very handy. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly, specifically the doormen are awesome and very helpful. Beds are comfy, showers are good, WiFi is just okay as you have to keep signing in everyday. Excellent location for downtown Vancouver. Friendly front desk staff. The 2-bedroom apartment was clean and quiet. Plenty of breakfast options close by. Highly recommended for a few days in central Vancouver.
Excellent 8.5
We were dropped off here by taxi from the airport so cannot comment on the parking charges or facilities. The hotel reception was pretty basic with a reception and a hall for the lifts. This hotel was a skyscraper and we were on the 22nd floor but the room was huge! We had a separate lounge area, a kitchenette and balcony view over the city. The bed was mega comfy and very welcome after the long flight. We walked down into the town for breakfast and found the grocery stores have a cafe area which do fab breakfasts at a reasonable cost. We stayed the one night and then hired a car and headed for Vancouver Island ferry the next day.
