Pros (+) The person checking us in was very nice and helpful
Cons (-) This hotel needs an overhaul. It’s battered and beaten like an abandoned stray. The furniture, walls, carpet all show signs of extensive wear. The beds are bumpy and the sheets obviously stained. No one has spent any money keeping this place kept up. I stayed at a Baymont along I95 3 years ago and had the same experience. I won’t stay at another.

Pros (+) It was clean. Lori was excellent at the desk. I was allowed to see a room before booking. It is well position between near 81. Salem and Roanoke are both 10-20 minutes away. Breakfast starts at 6am. It includes a large array, not just continental.

Pros (+) Bed was quite comfortable. Staff were nice and professional
Cons (-) Room condition was poor, most notably there was plaster falling off the ceiling and obvious water damage with a piece of ceiling plaster falling down that night. Morning continental breakfast didn't have an remotely healthy option (apples were there but had a bunch of worm holes.
