Pros:I liked the bed & pillows- quite comfy. The breakfast was ok. I wish there had been a few more options of food. Maybe some oatmeal or yogurt.
Cons:It was falsely advertised. When I booked, I picked the room with a queen bed & jacuzzi tub. There was no jacuzzi tub & when I called about it, the staff offered no solution. The mirrored closet door was faulty, it almost fell on me when I opened it. It was quite scary & very heavy too. At least the door was repaired quickly. The strangest thing was the bugs in the bathroom. There were lots of roly poly bugs in the bathroom, mostly dead ones, but a few that were crawling around. I guess I’m glad it wasn’t roaches or something else, but still strange nonetheless. You’d think the dead bugs would be swept up when they “cleaned”. The worst thing was the security latch was broken, so lil ol’ me traveling by myself didn’t feel very safe. If I had to be in town longer, I would’ve looked for something else.
Pros:Front desk at check in made sure to double check with me about a small booking error on my part where I had selected a Smoking Room but didn’t want one. Great customer service.
Cons:Little noisy from folks walking around at night, but really not bad
Pros:Awesome location. Good sized room. New tv. Good water pressure and heat in the shower. The housekeepers did a wonderful job. I was sick and went through a lot of tissues that they kept refilling every day. Breakfast was decent but it’s a little less options than some hotels I have stayed at. They had good prices on items in their little store. Most hotels gouge on that stuff but I was surprised a Gatorade was only 1.50. Not bad! Bed was nice and comfortable.
Cons:The first room I had was in the front part of the hotel and the street noise was a little annoying so I moved to the back part after one night and it was better. The next room I stayed in I would get a little faint noise of like an alarm clock going off in the next room all night. I had to use ear plugs because once I heard it, I couldn’t not hear it. They also had a slight insect problem in that room. I killed probably 4 things that were either roaches or water bugs. Not a huge deal. I think they could go next door to Lowe’s and buy something to fix that problem fairly easily. Also the door was a little tricky to open for some reason.
Pros:Good price and convient to I-40 and restaurants
Cons:Room was small and dated. First room smelled like smoke, was moved to different room. Mattress was unfortable and breakfast had very limited choices
