Everything! Upgraded room, cleanliness, room facilities, towels, gowns, showers, staff, friendliness, breakfast quality
Buffet breakfast not being available but fully understandable with coronavirus and the decision for it to be served to our table was the best for the current situation and containment of the virus
Very comfortable bed! And really quiet room although the hotel is in city centre and road right next to. We had plated breakfast ( due to the virus), it was tasty and quite variable. The hotel let us have a late check-out as our ferry was canceled and we had several hours until the next one. As we were travelling with a 9months old baby and 4 big suitcases it was a blessing.
Good location, right across the street from the main station, short walk from all the "downtown" stuff, we walked everywhere we went. The breakfast was good, typical buffett + omelet station + juice and other stuff. Nice staff.
The light for the bathroom was outside of the bathroom on the side of the wall as the door hinge, meaning if you forgot to turn it on, you had to walk out of the bathroom, go around the door. Obviously not a big deal but it was really annoying!
Included Breakfast was fantastic. Staff was extremely friendly.
Room air conditioning did not work reliably and Windows were locked. When we inquired about it, the staff was very proactive in trying to remedy the situation. Hotel was dated, kinda looks Like it's stuck in the 1970's.
Breakfast was amazing...relatively close to attractions
Old facilities, dirty furniture, impersonal staff
This stunning hotel in Helsinki sits in the city's heart, where its striking exterior serves as an architectural landmark in the skyline. With proximity to transport and attractions, the city centre hotel allows guests to easily explore sites like Tennispalatsi Culture Centre and Ateneum Art Museum. The newly renovated rooms are both comfortable and stylish, and delectable on-site dining options are also available. The hotel houses modern event facilities, which include 13 conference and banquet rooms for up to 300 guests. A special Brain Box breakout room is designed to elevate efficiency and encourage creativity. The best steaks and Martinis in town are served in the popular Grill it! Restaurant and bar. In summer, the sunny courtyard is taken over by Grill it! Terrace with room for 100 people, and furnished with sofas, hammocks and even a putting green. Our goal is 100PCT guest satisfaction and we guarantee it.
