Very clean and comfortable place
(Strange behavior of receptionist) I have spent there 3 nights with 1 nights Break in between. After the 2nd nights check out I have asked to stay in the public area and the answer was NO I can’t use it, was very strange behavior and uncomfortable discussion specially I was there 3 nights
Corner 4-beds room actually felt like 2-beds room because of the beds placement behind the corner. Surprisingly good quality of sheets and pillow. Electronic lockers and doors.
Squeaky beds. Earplugs are essential: noise from the lobby can be heard in the room till at least midnight, noise from maintenance cars outside - from 6 am in the morning.
Good location for visiting the WWII museum and the riverfront. Nice pub next door. Most of the staff at the desk were nice.
Very dirty - floor in private room was gritty and the bathrooms were very small so they were constantly wet and dirty. There was also a very bad smell emanating from the bathrooms; I had seen this in other reviews and thought people just had unreasonably high expectations for shared bathrooms, but these were pretty bad. Considering the high price of this hostel, it was not a good value.
The room itself was nice. I also met someone who i travelled with, so it makes me think also of positive aspects of this hostel. The music in the hall was really good
The stuff wasn't nice. Arrived there about one hour before the check in. it wasn't allowed to stay there at the reception and also not allowed to use the wifi before the check in. At least i could leave my luggage there. The stuff also seemed to be really stressed. First he was unfriendly, but when i checked in he at least gave me some recommondations and was a bit nicer. The bathrooms weren't that clean. Its really noisy outside the hostel so in summer you better not let the windows open, because it gets really loud.
The sheets were clean and breakfast was included in the price.
The toilets smelled bad, there were no towels and there was no hand soap. Had expected a bit more for the price of a double room.
