Great value for money and breakfast . Would stay again
Metal on end of bed is a problem if you're tall. Room had a green emergency light that was on the whole night, quite annoying.
The beds were clean and comfortable and the room was well heated.
The bathrooms are aweful. The interior is old and outworn. There was no shower carpet or something to dry my hands. In the morning there was puke in the toilets .. but the worst is the light. It’s motion sense light and I had to get out of the shower 6 times into the (unisex) bathroom hall so that do that the light switches back on. Also I got asked to pay again at reception although it said on booking.com that they already charged my card.
Location, the bar hidden behind it.
Adequate but basic
The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
Great place, good people and very helpful!
It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.
Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.
