Adequate but basic
The staff on reception were all very pleasant and extremely helpful. The location was perfect for us, close to the gig venue we were booked for. It was reasonably priced for Dublin (but not cheap), comfortable and clean. Beds and towels were fine.
The shower room bathroom was overlooked by another building (hotel?) with no curtain on the window. The frosted glass allowed for privacy from the ground floor level but not from the five stories looking down on us. Breakfast choices were pretty limited.
Great place, good people and very helpful!
It's a hip place, the rooms are clean, and the staff were externally helpful in helping me track down my wallet that I had left in a taxi.
Nothing, the place was great. There were some annoying persons staying there, but that's to be expected and it's not the hostel's fault.
Great for the price
Kinlay house is located in a great area, near many of Dublin's main sights. I would definitely stay here again. Never felt unsafe or uncomfortable.
The rooms were a tad cold, as well as the bathroom. The cleanliness of the bathroom was also not the best. Someone had thrown up in the bathroom, and it was left for most of the day.
Staff were friendly and its really near to the town
This is a hostel and not a Hotel as this questionaire constantly refers to. All good for a hostel no good for a dirty weekend away with your next door neighbour's missus!!!!
The most I like these two blond girls They were really sweet:]
bathroom 1st floor was terrible
The staff was fantastically helpful, they guided us to an excellent day trip out at Howth Harbor and even named coffee houses and pubs for us that we thoroughly enjoyed. The pub directly behind the hostel is fabulous as well, and the hostel offered coupons!
The rate for the room was by far the best part. It was a true hostel experience.
It was quite loud at times and there were not enough blankets to stay warm.
Nice friendly, helpful staff. Bed was very clean which is most important
Main over was quite poor. Gas hob would have been better. Maybe also some sofas to sit on.
