We waited in line to check in for an hour and a half!! The staff was less than apologetic for their lack of service and inadequate staffing. The room was incredibly overpriced for what it was. Not worth the cost.

Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent location, especially for events and city attractions, and many found the rooms to be clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. However, several reviews highlighted issues with service, including slow or unresponsive staff, housekeeping delays, and problems with amenities such as towels and room maintenance. While the location and overall cleanliness were strong positives, service inconsistencies detracted from some guests' experiences.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pretty decent place. The security deposit was ridiculous $149, never heard of it
Friendly staff Great location and rooms with great views
Being in the greek district was fun with some nice restaurants but did not feel safe walking beyond that immediate area.
Pros (+) Service was quite prompt. View is nice. Accessibility to the city is good.
Cons (-) Handles on closet and bathroom doors were dirty. Iron had melted debris. Ice/coffee station was delaminating and falling apart. Sink faucet was loose. Some stains on the curtains. If this were a sub-$100/night room, I might have not be concerned with the deterioration of the room. However, at $250/night I expect everything to be well maintained. The staff was quick to provide a new iron and send s...

Pros (+) The view, location
Cons (-) Waited in line for 30 mins just to check in and I was only 5th in line. Absurd and felt the front desk person was definitely in no rush to help. Also charged a $14 “amenities fee” at checkout. It was not brought up prior. When asking front desk about the fee, they said it covers WiFi and Parking. This stuff is already free!! WTF Greektown? Typical Detroit shadiness that keeps the city looking like...

Pros (+) Friendly kind staff.
Pros (+) Great staff. Room was clean. View was excellent.
Cons (-) Room cards failed on numerous occasions. Kept nowhere near magnets or phones. First time right after check in was annoying but the third time after a concert with the elevators jam packed, not cool!
Pros (+) Close enough to walk to Tiger's games.
Cons (-) While approaching our room we could hear neighboring couple and son yelling and being loud. We turned right around and went back to front desk where we were quickly reassigned a quiet room overlooking downtown and Comerica Park.
Pros (+) When visiting any hotel, the staff make up 80% of the overall experience. The staff here at Greektown were my only friendly, but also incredibly accommodating and informative. If I had reasonable questions, they found me an answer as well as provided knowledge on getting around the city. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was a memorable and satisfying one. Will definitely be returnin...
