Summary of reviews

Guests say
Guests consistently praised the hotel's excellent central location, spacious rooms, and charming, historic atmosphere. Many appreciated the helpful staff and the preservation of the building's retro character. However, several reviews highlighted disappointment with the breakfast, citing limited options and quality issues. Cleanliness was also a recurring concern, particularly in bathrooms and some rooms. Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects, especially the convenient location and unique ambiance, stood out in the feedback.

Good
Sharon, Sept 2018
Pros (+) Very good buffet breakfast was included
Cons (-) This hotel is very old and sparse but clean. Could use updating current for charging electronic items or for international travellers.

Pros (+) Beautiful hotel from the Art Deco era.

Mediocre
John, Jun 2018
Pros (+) It is something your parents would’ve thought really nice 50 years ago. Make it 75 years ago. Although the Art deco Decour appears original it has been well-maintained.
Cons (-) It is a prime candidate for a major redo and have shiny 4 stars. There is a certain “aroma“ that shows it’s age.
