Pros:Some staff were very nice and helpful, specially the kitchen staff. They prepared us very good pouched and scrambled eggs, waffles and pancakes. The days we left early for tours or airport, they prepared us very good food bags with our request.
Cons:Some other staff didn't really speak English and it was a little frustrating trying to communicate at the Reception. The fan- A/C was installed to hit you in the face, and My husband and I ended up with a bad cough. We were in our honeymoon and we had a King bed but it was actually 2 twin beds, not the best. Also, the pillows were really hard, every morning we woke up with torticollis (neck pain). As an Architect, the logic design of the room is not practical (the shower is in another room than the toulet room, you have to go out back to the room and go to the jacuzzi room - which unfortunately we didn't get to try - and then walk into the shower room) and even tho the building is not so old, from what I heard, the wood, the curtains, the rug, seems very old, the ceramic from the bathroom is full of white spots, the water faucet was loose and you couldn't really use full cold water because the handle hit with the wall, etc. The location is not great at all. There is nothing close by; nor a restaurant (the closest we would find was at 1 mile away), no pharmacy or convenience store, etc. The neighborhood is not so great. There's like 2 free shuttles offered by the hotel to the Old town at different times (5pm and 7pm, from what I remember) we would arrive on time and but sometimes the staff would take us and sometimes they didn't, we couldn't understand why the staff was very unstable with what they offered, this made our stay not so great. A little more profound and perhaps subjective, we felt a negative energy in this place. I try my best to be positive but its important to be sincere and hope the hotel takes into consideration these critics as constructive, due that for what we payed we didn't felt It was worth it.
