The shuttle never showed up, called multiples times nobody answered, we ended up walking in a temperature 90+ heat all way to the place. Got there they didn’t even know customers were waiting for pick up at the airport. The price was good but just because of all the hustle to try to pick up the car will think twice to choose this company again.

It was an easy process. We arrived about midnight and called for shuttle service. They were to the airport in about 5 minutes. A few minutes of paperwork (bring insurance card) and we were on our way. Drop off was even quicker.

We arrived to pick up the car rental (we made a reservation prior and paid in full), they did not have a car for us. They gave us a substitute, and we had to return the vehicle before 12 noon that day. We picked up the new car, and 4 days later it would not start and we had to return it again and, resulting in another day lost on our vacation. They replaced it, this is totally unacceptable.

The price/value was great, and the rental extension over the phone was a simple and easy process without any price-gouging.

During this Covid19 lockdown, the Alamo office shutdown early and nearly left me stranded in the middle of nowhere with no way of getting out. Calling the head office or local office gave zero help. I only got the car by yelling from outside the gate until I got the attention of the worker in the office, and then convincing her to allow me to fulfill the reservation. If that hadn't happened I would've been completely stranded in the middle of nowhere for 24hrs

The gas rating they gave me at the office was in accurate with what was in the tank. The agent also asked for my full declaration page of insurance versus proof of insurance. After I returned the vehicle I was still contacted ba text to return the vehicle or extend my contract.

I’m pretty sure this place is a bait and switch scam. The customer service rep shuttled us from the airport but when we arrived he immediately told us our reservation had been cancelled because our flight had been significantly delayed and they were completely out of cars. PR is an island and inventory is finite, so this is not an unheard of situation. However, that was the only flight arriving in Aguadilla that afternoon and we were the first and only customers on the shuttle. And if they were out of cars, the rep would have been aware before picking us up. He was very quick to recommend going to the local private rental company across the parking lot, since we had already been shuttled from the airport and there is no ride share and limited taxi service in town. Our Airbnb was half a mile away so my husband, 5 year old, and I ended up walking on the shoulder of a major roadway with all our luggage in the rain and made a car reservation at Hertz for the next day. You’re better off at literally any other major rental company in town—Hertz, Thrifty, Avis, National, Alamo, Enterprise lots are all walking distance from the arrivals terminal and have plenty of inventory.

The actual process of picking up/dropping off the car was quick and easy. The shuttle picking us up from the airport took close to 30min after calling almost 10 times. That was a big turn off. The additional fees also were unexpected and the car ended up costing over $100 than what I had reserved it for.

We didn’t have any experience with them since they cancelled our reservation. Our flight has been cancelled, ee arrived 2 days later and since we didn’t show up, they cancelled. I had sent an email to them to let them know but they didn’t received it. They never sent me an email either, I would have like to be informed, I would have paid the 2 days. There is no way to get in touch with them, I was stocked at Toronto airport because of tje Covid.

We enjoyed having the Routes rental car center so close to the airport that you could almost walk there, which we almost did. We watched Routes shuttle bus past completely by the pickup location and never stopped to pick us up. We then tried calling Routers car rental for 30 minutes and never got through. Dollar rental was wonderful and gave us personally a ride to the Routes car rental location. Once we arrived at Routes car rental we received our clean new car and all worked out fine for the next 10 days.

I have never been to a rental car company with so many add on prices above the listed price online. Literally had to pay an extra 10-20% in air freshener, “light” cleaning fees, pick up fees, etc. the car had dents and numerous small bits of damage on seats, floor boards, etc and we had to worry they would charge us for these once we saw them in the light of day during the trip. They signed when we returned the vehicle that we’d get our 250$ deposit back…..still no deposit returned. And now I have to file a complaint with our credit card company. I’ve traveled the world and been to 100’s of rental car places. Will never forget routes. That place is gnar gnar and you will NOT be saving money by traveling into the abyss.

This is the second time I rented and left down. Just this time was in a forigner country. I booked, paid same amount for insurance, had my personal insurance, and my credit card. All of them were presented to person in the counter, in Aguadilla Airport, Puerto Rico. He did not accepted and he had tried to sell me another package of insurance. As I denied, of course, he denied the rental. I was left on the street in a different country, 1:00 o clock in the morning. I will never rwnt deom easy rent a car anymore and not advise anybody to do so. About Allianz Insuranse, left me down when (NOT EASY TO RENT A CAR, did not accept they policy, the # they have to call for assure they police was good, never had a person and the phone call was alway direct to a web site. So both crooks! I want my money back!

Due to flight cancellation I had to travel to different airport and drop off car at different location and was charged additional cost. I asked Hertz if the could work with me to waive the cost since the change in drop location was out of my control. They would not even attempt to assist.

Avoid this company. This was a bait and switch deal. If the rate looks too good, it probably is. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was informed that the tiny print on the contract states that when the car is rented at low special rates (essentially everyone) that you then need to purchase their mandatory insurance, which I have never been forced by any other company to do before, even in Puerto Rico. This made the total 3 times as much and more than if I had rented from one of the big, more reputable agencies. Also beware that this scam applies to all of the companies under the Priceless banner at this location (Allied, Nextcar, …). In fact all of my paperwork has different company names on it. None actually says Rent A Wreck. So search reviews under the other names as well and you will see that they have horrible reviews because of this bait and switch practice.
