Love the restaurant and pool, and the staff are really friendly and helpful

We didn't like the very loud music from the adjacent hotel , which if you had a street side room was unavoidable and went on until 23.30, you would definitely have trouble settling children if you where in a family room.

For the money great comfort. Very good breakfast.

Super noisy outside. Playing german songs from 90s till almost midnight.

Good fridge (w/ no surcharge), renovated bathroom, firm mattress, and breakfast buffet (but insufficient quality control, e.g. fried eggs cooked solid one day, scambled eggs runny the next).

Old, corporate hotel with serious structural issues: (1) A/C thermostat doesn't work. It is either always on or off. During the day, it is overwhelmed, so the rooms are sweltering (even leaving it on constantly). At nite, you shiver. (2) No sound-proofing. Hollow doors and thin walls means you hear everything, in particular from the hallway. (3) Particularly annoying is that the doors have no anti-slam device (not pneumatic closers, not even felt pads), so you are jolted all the time by inconsiderate kids (and some peasant adults) slamming the doors. (4) Shower water temperature varies from warm to scalding hot every 15 seconds or so. Also, they charge extra for many basic things that should be free, e.g. 2 euros/day for wifi (the „free wifi“ is throttled and uselessly slow, and even the paid wifi is max 10 megs and shared, so it too is very slow at busy times), and 50 cents for a printed sheet.
