Nice size room. However,it would have been much better to have had a microwave in room. My wife suffers with neck & shoulder pain relieved with heated rice bags. Not having access to heat them up during the night was inconvenient. There was a microwave in the lobby, but was not practical to assess it during the night. Also the HVAC system operating instructions need to be posted on the room unit. ...

Pros (+) Very comfortable beds, solid location closeish to downtown, nice staff.
Cons (-) Carpet had several stains, old bath soap from last occupant was left in the bathtub.

Cons (-) Cell service didn't work, and wifi at the hotel didn't work. That was...rustic. If you're there for the golf you'll love it. If not, the golf-themed decor is a bit strong.

Pros (+) We love the facility, the staff and the location of gross mountain lodge. It's close to downtown Whitefish, their daily shutle gives you a variety of times to head up to Whitefish Mountain to ski, and cross country skiing is right outside the back door on the adjoining golf course.
Cons (-) The facility needs to upgrade it's technology to high DEF television is in each room.
