I love boutique guest houses but I just wasn’t feeling this one. So much so, I left a day early. The staff were wonderful, complaints. I had the attic and it was cute with lovely windows. The lighting wasn’t good for me. Just felt dark even with the lights on. The bathroom lights especially were dim. Also, the bathtub was cute but never got in it or took a shower for that matter. I couldn’t get the bathroom warm enough for my taste to shower. It was raining heavily and would have enjoyed a TV in my room. I think the rain negatively effected my stay. I’m sure it would have been fine if the sun was shining.
The bath rug needs to be thrown away!! Looks very ratty or ick color The front door was very difficult to open.
Helpful friendly staff, nice style room and nice bath. On the edge of the tea plantation away from town. Kindly let us leave our bags with them after check out while we explored the area a little.
Low beams in the bathroom were easy to catch your head on. Not the properties fault but we’re woken by the nearby temple early in the morning (6am) wouldn’t usually mind but we’re tired after lots of travelling.
i loved everything about this place, location is amazing right in the middle of the tea fields and you can just talk a walk in the tea fields from there. the villa is very cute and cozy, the staff is friendly and helpful and breakfast is plentiful.
this is a wood villa so depending on who is staying with you it might be a it noisy. personally i didnt mind that and most of our stay we felt like we are alone in the villa so it was still nice
Lovely setting in the middle of some tea fields. The house is a quirky converted old tea plantation house. Staff very kind and friendly. The breakfast was also very good. Would highly recommend
Loved the English style architecture and interior. The setting was beautiful, with tea fields all around the property. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was nice. We loved the lounging area.
There is zero soundproof. My sister and her partner were staying in the room next door, and it sounded like we were in the same room. We joked about it but if it was a stranger next door it would be very awkward. Furthermore we stayed in the ground floor room, so if there are people in the lounging area or kitchen you can hear everything. The rooms and bathroom look “tired” and in need of maintenance. Especially the bathroom. Also the bathroom was very dark.
