the hotel is fine, but unimpressive for the cost
well situated in dublin; walking distance to restaurants.
tha maldron is more expensive than its amenities suggest. the room I was booked in was small & had no view (the window literally opened onto a tiny concrete plot. they did not provide washcloths & the shower is weirdly designed (you have to step fully inside to turn it on, and with the fixed head, this means you're going to get blasted with cold water to start your morning). if this is a business trip & you just need a place to sleep, it's perfectly fine, but if you want to spend the same value for a plush hotel room with some space and a view of at least a city street, i'd recommend someplace else.
Good and bad
Size of room
No bath No toilet brush Bathroom too dark Way too distant from city centre Hot breakfast......not
Good brand with convenient location
-Close to bus pick-up & drop-offs -Friendly staff at front desk & in the restaurant -Restaurant on-site, reasonably priced & convenient dinner options -Clean and modern rooms -Fairly quiet
-Just a bit of a walk to get to the heart of Dublin (this can also be a pro as it's a little quieter than if you were in central Dublin
hotel was nice and clean
they shutdown services early and on our checkout day decided to shutdown all the computes for 3 hours so we could ot checkout or get a final bill to review.
The hotel is average. Don't expect anything specia
The food in the restaurant was pretty good.
Average, indifferent service. Average cleanliness. Terrible pillows, nearly rags Terrible bedding
