Guests consistently praised the hotel's scenic location with beautiful views of Aso, the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet, and the friendly, helpful service from staff. The relaxing atmosphere, traditional Japanese touches, and enjoyable onsen experience were also highlighted. Some guests appreciated the pool and unique art collection. However, several reviews noted that the hotel and rooms are dated, with some maintenance and cleanliness issues, and a few mentioned noise and small bathrooms. Overall, the positives centered on the views, breakfast, and hospitality.
