Cons: Size of the room, no kitchen or kitchenware Rooms and doors are not soundproof. Was not able to have a restful sleep

Pros: Staff were very attentive in room, providing an afternoon turn-down service to prepare us for a good night rest. This included fresh bottles of water, mints and clothes neatly folded on the bed.

Cons: Bed was a bit small for my partner being 6'4".

Cons: limited parking with plugins for vehicles so I was unable to plug in my truck during the -39C temperature

Pros: Superb front desk staff. Philip, Chelsea and Blad could not have been more helpful and charming! Always there with pleasant smiling patience and advice.

Cons: Terrible sound proofing on second floor. Could hear everything phone calls and even just footsteps through our ceiling. Especially bad when other guests arrive in snow boots at 2.30am and drop them from height directly above our heads! Crazy amount of noise. Staff had already moved us but no escaping the problem.

Cons: It is more a bread and breakfast than a hotel. People are nice there but you basically live in someones house, and that wasn't clear for me first. If someone likes that it is great, and everyone was nice, but I go to hotels instead of airbnb to avoid being a guest and to be a customer instead.

Cons: We arrived at 1130pm our room was right at the exit door. So all the people departing at 3 am were going back and forth through the exit door letting it slam behind them waking us up and not being able to sleep. We had a 6 hour drive through a snow storm and had a five hour drive back home the next day. A very tiring drive the next day back home. The pillows are very poor need more support. We have stayed here several times and aside of the pillows being poor this is our first bad experience. I suggest putting people that are leaving earlier in the morning closer to the exit door or up on the second floor. You really need better pillows.

Pros: We arrived very, very late and the lady at the front desk was very kind and courteous. The beds and pillows were very comfortable!

Cons: We were next to the hallway door so it was a little noisy with it opening and closing, but otherwise it was great!

Pros: It was a quiet location. People were nice. It is a very simple place, and that in a good way. No unnecesarry things: quick check in/check out...

Cons: There was some kind of a constant noise in the background, might have been the heating of the building or some other air flow, but it was constant, and that ruined a little bit the picture, that was other wise perfect.

Pros: I choose this property because it had a restaurant. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, staff friendly. They accommodated us the best they could.

Cons: Old wall mounted heater/aircon thats is very noisy, constantly off and on all night. Hallway noise did wake me up, however I am a light sleeper. Unfortunately most hotels in Whitehorse lack sound proofing.

Pros: The hotel is right on the Alaska Hwy and has a nice restaurant.

Cons: It is one of the more expensive hotels we stay in, but worth the price for the location and quality.

Pros: Loved that everyone was so nice. The size of the room was great, the bed was very comfortable, the fridge in the room was already cold, the bathroom had a very nice shower. All in all the facilities and the people who were there were really great.

Cons: I didn't love being on the ground floor which really is at ground level so that someone could have just walked past our room window and looked in. I also didn't love being quite so near the airport for airport noise.

Pros: This is the nicest place to stay in Whitehorse and usually I am happy with it.

Cons: All I can say is the night staff Was rude and should be fired. I have a written letter from a doctor that my sons dog has to be with him and she told us NO it is against the law for her to do that. Told me she needed more paper work which is a lie.

Cons: Far from everything... you have to take a 1 hr roundtrip to downtown for every meal (the restaurant @ the hotel sucks).

Pros: The staff were very courteous. The restaurant, food presentation and quality, and serving staff were great. The desk staff were very helpful and courteous. The airport shuttle coordination was great.

Cons: Very loud. I was by elevator. Loud people coming and going through middle of night made it very hard to sleep. No artwork (not a single thing!) on the walls creating a stark, barren appearance. Hairdryer did not work properly, and shower handle stripped requiring my ingenuity to turn off and on very carefully and with persistence.

Pros: Traveling through Canada we had to make reservations way ahead of time because of Covid and we ended up not making it to the hotel. The staff was very nice and ended up not charging us for the room.

Pros: Clean rooms, central location, restaurants nearby. Best recommendation we can provide, we have rebooked for a second stay.

Pros: The location is right downtown which when it’s not 2020 would probably be fun to enjoy. Walking distance to dog park.

Cons: The bathroom was small. Not very convenient for dog owners because the way in is through the main lobby and key card elevator. The way out is a dingy emergency exit stairway to a quick patch of grass by the dumpster. Not to mention lugging all the family and suitcases.

Pros: Ideal place to discover downtown Whitehorse on foot. Large room with jacuzzi. I appreciate that the housekeeping staff took note of whether we wanted to have our towels changed and didn’t just change them anyway.

Cons: The menu at the restaurant was rather uninspired, hardly any vegetarian options.

Pros: It was extremely friendlyand the staff was AMAZING!!! Beautiful inside and welcoming.

Cons: We had a 2.000 mile drive and was ready for a quiet night/morning sleep. Unfortunately, it was under construction when trying to sleep. There was no complimentary breakfast but the restaurant downstairs was pricey but delicious!!!

Cons: The heat was not working on an extremely cold night, and the staff was unfriendly. We had low expectations going into this reservation and it was still disappointing.

Pros: They had newly remodeled rooms and live music in the restaurant/ bar on weekends.

Cons: They did not have a public hot tub, jacuzzi or sauna. The hot tub and/or jacuzzi was listed in the amenities, but this was for private upgraded rooms only. The sauna was a misprint and during the winter season, the spa had limited hours.

Cons: You could easily tell when other patrons were walking passed our room. Also we had 2 dogs and we were put on the 2nd floor which was a hassle we had not encountered at other hotels.

Pros: Great location in a quiet neighbourhood just a few min drive (or 20 min walk) to downtown. Separate entry; equipped to prepare simple meals- lots of tea & coffee. Dresser to unpack clothes. Good size fridge for food. Room has a funky spa tub. Barbara is a welcoming hostess.

Pros: Beautifully decorated, incredible use of space. Bed was very comfortable and my pup was happy walking in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to everything you need.

Pros: I loved my stay at Ravensong, Barbara was an excellent and helpful host, I loved my room with its jacuzzi tmub and enjoyed chilling in there whilst watching the TV. Bed was very comfortable I slept like a baby. Much nicer staying here than downtown, more peaceful but only 3km to town if you need to go. Coffee was in the fridge and everything that you could need including a fridge and microwave, would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Friendly greeting upon arrival, and each time I went out and returned. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Nice quiet room to work in with a view of Grey Mtn and Christmas Lights. Heat in room worked well at cold temperatures. Comfy bed with choice of pillows. Best rate in town too.

Pros: This is an older but cared for motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved that we could do our laundry on-site and they provide both laundry soap and fabric softener towels. Gave us a tip on the timing for the dryer. Within a few blocks of Main Street so could easily walk to some of the tourist sites and shops.

Cons: The coffee pot was squeezed in beside the microwave which made it a bit difficult to use. There were no hooks in the bathroom for hanging up your dressing gown etc. when taking a shower despite plenty of places to hang them on the walls over back of the door. The vanity didn't have counter space for a toiletry bag and one had to put it in the cupboard underneath.

Pros: The location was good for strolling around the downtown area. The bed was comfortable.

Cons: An easily opening window, a newer less noisy air conditioner and some sort of bathroom counter would all be improvements.

Pros: The room was clean and pet friendly as I asked for, as well as on the ground floor as I needed. They allowed me to plug in my electric vehicle with no extra charge. There were coffee packages available in the room as well as the bar provided drinks so the dog had something to drink also.

Cons: Money machine was broken down. I only had my cards with me, so I couldn't buy a quick drink for my dog and myself.

Pros: The limited edition prints on the walls were beautiful and seemed to reflect the pride of the indigenous peoples here

Cons: The front doors were open and there were people at all times of day and nights that smoked just outside the door. The cigarette and marijuana smell wafted inside the building and down the hallways and was nauseating!! We could smell the "weed" in our room at the far end from smokers outside our closed room window! The smell and stains from the carpetting was alarming...like old animal or musty smelling

Pros: The hotel was tastefully decorated and beds were comfortable. We had to take a kitchenette room at a higher price because they had no pet rooms. Kayak & other travel websites do not mention this nor do they mention there will be a pet deposit.

Cons: We had no hot water our entire stay. We were driving the Alaska Highway and had to change a flat tire in the rain. We couldn't take a hot shower, but wasn't told about this at check in.

Pros: Westmark is conveniently located in Whitehorse and has early hours for breakfast. Nice beds and linen, carpeted room. Warning sign about running too many high power appliances.

Cons: The room on one side had a young family that were noisy though they didn't stay up too late. Also got to smell the diapers, baby powder and milk. On the other side, the man spent several minutes clearing his throat every minute. Blowing his nose in the morning sounded like he was in my room. Hair missed by cleaners in sink. Sound wise, not much different than lower priced facilities in Whitehorse.

Pros: This hotel is perfectly fine. It's not a fancy place, but it's clean and has a restaurant and bar. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance to a lot of interesting places, including the river walk which is really cool.

Cons: If you are driving here, and don't arrive early, finding a non metered parking spot is a chore. The hotel lot is very small. The meters start at 9:00, so if you sleep in, you're probably going to get a ticket.

Cons: The wifi only worked in the hallway. The beds were rock hard - used our camping sleeping pads to help make it softer.

Cons: Our room wasn’t ready until 9:30pm. The vinyl flooring was coming up; the halls were dirty; there were black spots on the tub and shower curtain. Worst of all, the hotel is infested with bedbugs. By 2am we retreated from the premises and slept in the car. In the 4 hours we were in the room I was bitten more than 20 times. The only silver lining to the whole affair was that when I brought out an engorged bedbug I’d trapped in a coffee cup, they comp’d us the room. Avoid this hotel.

Cons: Worst hotel ever. Unauthorized charges to my card. Rotting food in fridge from previous guests. Dirty rooms/bathrooms (toilet bowl hadnt even been cleaned properly). Horrible ventilation and no a/c so it was brutally hot in room even when cool outside.

Cons: We checked in and immediately found Canada's best value inn in white horse Yukon has bed bugs!!! I took pictures to prove this. They also did not have A/C, and it stunk like cigarettes (even though it was supposed to be nonsmoking)

Cons: Curtains were old and one was longer than the other and they were missing hooks. The floors were laminate and had buckled and were nailed down in places. The bathtub was old, stained and a piece of linoleum was used as a shower surround. Grout was awful.

Cons: The telephone in the room did not work. We asked for a wake up call which never happened. The front staff at the check in counter didn't seem to care about anything. When a call came in from my boss, they told him that I was not even registered there!

Pros: A decent bed and bathroom if you need a place to stay. Location wasn't far off of the highway.

Cons: Walls were very thin, you could hear people in the rooms next to you. Man in the room right next door was beating the girl he was with and police were there for about an hour. When I talked to the front desk about it they made it seem like it was normal.

Pros: We only stayed for one night, and we did not arrive until after 2am. The host was available and was quite pleasant for the time of day. He did explain all charges and was upfront about everything. (Charges=pet fees)

Cons: The only reason I did not give a 10/10 overall was because the walls are CRAZY THIN- and other people are super loud and inconsiderate.

Cons: Bed bugs, rude employees and I was stranded at the hotel at 5am, an hour before my flight, as i was told they would shuttle me to the airport but changed their mind in the morning. Also, worst directions I've ever had from unknowledgable staff and were rude when I asked any questions about the directions.

Cons: Located next to two bars with quite a few rough people hanging around outside. Didn't feel that I or my vehicle were secure. Pretty rundown. Staff not very communicative. But, then that is somewhat what the town was like.

Cons: Terrible parking situation. If your not early enough to get one if the 8 parking spots in front you have to walk all the way around the block to get in the door. The next door restaurant smell is very strong. the entire room had 2 outlets. Nice view of a bunch of broken toilets from our room.

Cons: I was woken up at around 1:30 to someone trying to access a roof from two propane tanks. Technically I saw him lowering himself down about 20 minutes previous but hadn't given it much thought. Once on this roof he had window access to several rooms.

Pros: Good location. Good view of the river. Close to restaurants. Room had been newly renovated and was fairly clean.

Cons: Lobby and hallway had an unpleasant sour smell. Hallway and stairwell was not very clean.

Cons: Toilets have a leakage from the tanks. They constantly refill themselves. It doesn't affect me, but that hotel probably has huge water bills. Every toilet tank needs to be examined and fixed, to prevent leakage, waste of water, and large water bills.

Cons: Lack of making up room any day of our 4 day stay, no fresh towels even after requesting them, no air conditioning, ice machine out of order for entire stay, generally very grungy parking lot and grounds, alcohol cans strewn about without being picked up.

Pros: I suppose you get what you pay for. The price was right and the room accommodated our family of 4 perfectly. One of our tv remotes was missing when we first arrived and the gentlemen at the counter kindly and quickly replaced it for us.

Cons: The Riverview is in a bad neighborhood with a lot of alcoholic and drug users on the street right outside the hotel. They also no longer have pet-friendly rooms even though their website says they do. Not a safe place to stay.

Pros: The price. I have been to Whitehorse many many times and have found recently that the hotels are charging way too much so I thought I would try this place. The room was clean and quiet. If you are on a budget this is the place.

Cons: When I first got there , even though it was paid in advance the check in person asked me for a $100 damage deposit. The walls must not have sound proofing because you could hear people talking. Internet was good as well.
