Hotels near Volgograd airport

Pros: Perfect place for weekend right in the city. Outdoor pool with Thermal water +36°C! Relaxing.

Pros: The staff is excellent and the food is great. Wonderful pools and facilities.

Cons: The bed was really uncomfortable for two people because the hotel uses two smaller beds pushed together to make a queen sized bed. The carpet in the main floor hallway smelled terrible. You can't charge meals or drinks from the pool bar or outside restaurants to your room.

Pros: We checked in very late. The lady at the reception was very kind. Nice facility, pity that we did not have a chance to walk around and take some pictures.

Cons: When we checked in very late we parked our motorcycles in a private corner with the permission of the security. Neither noise nor position of motorcycles were disturbing anyone. Early morning, after 3 hours of sleep we were woken up by the same security guard who said that his superior demands we remove the motorcycles from that spot. We would not go back to sleep, continued our journey that early. Very disappointing. The ladies at the reception and breakfast were very kind though.

Pros: Superfriendly restaurant staff (especially at breakfast). Lovely layout with cute cottages. Clean and well kept. Slightly odd fake grass mixed with real grass but all in all very nice atmosphere they created. The pool is very nice and comfortable kept at great temperature! Even perfect for a dip in the evening. Really nice different pool areas, enough chairs and beds. Cool aquariums, they serve seafood very fresh :)

Cons: For a hotel that caters to lots of families with small kids, the layout probably could have been better for dinner. The eating area had no place for kids so they started using the sides of the building as slides. There is a playground but no comfy place for adults there. Food and staff is great tough.

Pros: I had to pay extra for a normal sized breakfast . While it was bitterly cold outside it was very warm inside . No refrigerator in the room .

Cons: No refrigerator inside the room not even a mini fridge .

Cons: A shower in the room? The communal shower was hot and relaxing but a shower door rather than curtains would have been good.

Pros: We stayed there in the first day of the year. The staff were kind, the room clean and we could see the monument of the Mother of the Nation from the window of our room. The breakfasts was simple but tasty.

Cons: The price was changed at check-in. One more guest claimed about the same issue - the room was booked on booking.com for 3 persons and the hotel has requested extra money for (what?) 3rd person in the room. Really? The property manager told us that it was a mistake and there is no 2 x twin-bed room available, even we had a confirmation.

Pros: Super friendly staff. Hotel is within 20 min walking distance from the Wolga River and parks.

Pros: The location is relatively close to Volgograd train station. Place to sleep and en suite bath at a reasonable price. Bed was clean and mattress was good. There is a minibar with various drinks and snacks; water was free. TV worked fine (Russian channels only).

Cons: Paper thin walls - I could hear children shouting and ordinary conversations very clearly. The plumbing is also very loud - anytime someone in a nearby room flushes the toilet or takes a shower it sounds like a waterfall in the room. The staff were not overly friendly, although not rude. The breakfast is small and overpriced, with watery porridge and they give you a ridiculously small piece of butter for your bread. In addition, the hotel charged my credit card 100% of the cost within minutes of my booking, though my stay was weeks away. True, I did book with no refund, but I found this unprofessional. What if I had wanted to pay cash, or use a different card when checking out? They did not give me the option.

Pros: The staff is nice and helpful and the room clean and the location of this hotel is not away from the center.

Cons: Aircon was disabled, and so it was awfully impossible to live in a room without a window. Needed to upgrade the room.

Pros: Stuff is super friendly. I arrived at the late night, and wanted to eat something, although kitchen was closed already, they arranged me something to eat. Beautiful reception, with a lot of stylish decoration. (PS very good location to make some pics) Rooms are clean, with all bathing suits. By my request, they have changed the towels today in 2 minutes.

Cons: The city itself is boring, no nice bars or clubs I could find at the working day. City offers only shisha bars and restaurants.

Cons: - personnel has limited English skills, even in reception - lacking information about breakfast, swimming pool, pool towels etc. probably due to language limitations —> how about a little info folder in English ?

Pros: Facilities for good leisure, great pool with surrounding spaces. Spacious rooms.

Cons: Poor noise isolation between the rooms.
