Pros: Great pool, room size, open air gym

Cons: Restaurant could do with a bit less complex approach to food and concentrate on taste not complexity.

Pros: We had a garden view room. Very nice. Fantastic selection at buffet breakfast.

Pros: Most of the staff were excellent and very helpful. There were of course one or two that were not pleasant to deal with. Juan at Reception was exceptional. The Hydro Spa was just great. The food was also very good.

Cons: We did have a bit of issue when checking in and getting a room that was not what we requested. They did however make it right, but we had been travelling for over 26 hours and this was a little bump that due to our tiredness was a huge inconvenience. We did have a couple people at reception and in the bar area that did not seem to want to help us. Left the bar 3 times due to no service. Other servers were really great though. Also Cleaning staff were hit and miss. Seemed every time they cleaned, something wasn't replaced. Had to call for a few things.

Pros: The room and the view , if you looked past the derilected buildings below the balcony .

Pros: Checkin was very easy and the receptionist was very friendly to our little young one. We received an upgrade free of charge to a larger room in a newer part of the hotel. There was sufficient place to park car (obviously you need to know how to drive one to get in the basement...) Overall our stay was very good, cant complain.

Cons: The negative comments read up on Hotel Taburiente might have been applicable in past (?) ; we didnt have anything to complain about ; the hotel is quite luxurious.

Pros: Everything was great. The room, the option to extend my stay with the same price, the staff, allowing me to leave the baggage after check out. This hotel is worth the money 😉

Cons: False advertising//posted pictures of swim pool are dishonest portrayal of what is really a small bathtub.

Pros: After a couple weeks of hostels, was nice to have a comfy bed to sleep in. Place was clean, and well taken care of. No issues with staying here, I would recommend it if you want to stay in the city for a couple of days. City Tour bus stops a block away, made it really easy to see the interesting tourist sites in Santa Cruz.

Cons: There was no parking on site like I had read when booking. Had to drive around a while to find somewhere to leave the car for a few days. The showers work quite well, however, the design makes it so that water goes everywhere, essentially turning the bathroom floor into an ice rink. A door, or even a curtain would help.

Pros: Staff was very nice and helpful (great recommendation, help with booking etc.) Very clean room with big bathroom and a balcony. Good location overall

Facilities to cook tea or coffee. Water available in the room!

Cons: the room was ok, but the bathroom was a bit difficult. Closet behind the door and you had to squeeze in. not possible to use bath room with 2 people.

Pros: The family room has two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom. All of them were quite spacious and comfortable. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to all amenities. We also appreciate the kind and helpful staff members, which made our stay pleasant.

Cons: We spent three days at the hotel with two children, after staying at a hotel in South Tenerife for a week. Maybe because of the contrast between South and North, we found the hotel generally quite dark throughout and slightly depressing. It is also slightly dated, which probably also added to the dark ambiance. We stayed in a family room with a decent size kitchen. However, it is a bit disappointing that there were no basic equipments such as cutting knife and sponge, despite €12 daily charge. The room was spacious but could get a bit noisy because one of the bedrooms was facing a residential apartment.

Pros: Great location, perfect to park and to avoid the issue of crossing the city center, quite messy for cars. Shops nearby is a very convenient asset (Lidl, Corte Ingles). Breakfast was amazingly good. In spite of the Covid19 restrictions, everything was great and very well organized.

Pros: The parking available (for an extra fee) underneath the hotel was very convenient as parking in the city is difficult. Just be sure to call the hotel ahead to ask for directions to enter the parking garage. The location was nice for walking to the auditorium; and also not too far from the market and other side of the city.

Pros: On arrival the staff were excellent.. Top marks to Adrianna on reception. Full of help,advice and she answered all my questions. I slept very well in a comfy double bed. Breakfast was excellent 👌 😋 👍 Its location too as its in the centre of town and easily accessible. I used the Plaza De España car park which is a 2 minutes walk away. I really liked this hotel and will stay again when I'm in town.

Pros: Location of the hotel is good. Centre of the town. Room is a reasonable size, and well equiped. Quiet area with a good Chinese restaurant opposite and a good pizza place next to it.

Cons: The queen size bed was vey uncomfortable, no bottled water available in the mini bar. Staff was polite but nothing more. Breakfast at 15 euro is overpriced as you can have coffee for a quarter of the price opposite in the bar.

Pros: The room was perfect, clean, quiet, and had a bathtub! The staff was sweet and super accommodating. The kitchen made special requests and brought them to my room. I wasn’t expecting to stay here and booked last minute via booking because I had to leave my previous hotel due to unsanitary conditions (contracted stomach flu). NH Tenerife helped me get better again, we’re very caring, is in a great location, and the breakfast is really good. I travel for business a lot and stay in a lot of fancy hotels. The NH Tenerife is a “3 star” hotel with 5 star service and accommodations. Easily one of the best hotels I’ve every stayed in. Thank you for being kind, accommodating and saving my vacation!

Pros: Smart business hotel in the middle of Santa Cruz. It couldn't be more central if you got a set square out. Staff helpful and friendly and the breakfasts you could order from a big list. Very clean and polished room and had enough facilities for me. Overall a good place to stay.

Pros: After circling around the hotel---which is located in a central pedestrian zone of the city--a few times, I was finally able to spot a parking space for my rental car, approximately 200 m from the hotel entrance. The lobby and reception access of the hotel is shared with a clothing store which was closed during the duration of my stay, and check-in was straight-forward and easy. The reception staff was courtesous and helpful, and I was given a room on the 5th floor, with a small balcony (featuring a triangular-shaped floor surface), permitting you to look toward that part of the sea, where the commercial harbor is located at (for the Fred Olsen Express and Navieras Armas ferries). The rooms have an adequate size and are nicely furnished, but the breakfast was not included in my booking rate. Yet, breakfast is available after 8 AM for an addtional €10/guest. I was also able to log on to the Internet with a data set given to me at the reception. The bathroom was equipped with a bath tub, so that I was able to take a relaxing bath after each day of my excursion to Santa Cruz and its surroundings.

Cons: After logging on to the WiFi with my two mobile phones and my laptop, I was surprised to learn that I was unable to access the yahoo.com and yahoo.de Web sites, including yahoo.mail. In order to review my mails, I had to switch off the hotel's WiFi access of one of my mobile phones, and review my mails through the (local) mobile service provider (MOVISTAR), which I was able to do through the cost-free data roaming service. The selection of the TV channels available though my room TV implied that the hotel apparently does not get many international guests, since nearly all channels (with the exception of two: CNBC and Bloomberg Europe) were Spanish language channels. Although I have a fluent command of the Spanish language, I was hoping to get my international news through CNN International. If you are traveling with a private car, be prepared to look for a long time before finding a place to park, in reasonable walking distance to the hotel entrance.

Pros: Due to some problems with my personal itinery I had to postpone my visit to Tenerife - the fare I did the booking was not providing this service. Nevertheless, the Hotel-Management reacted immediatly and helped out very professional, and everything was to my ful satisfaction! Muchas Gracias!

Cons: Was very noisy during the night on Thursday,Friday and Saturday. Not sure what the hotel could do about that as the noise was from fellow travellers who returned to their rooms at 1.45am, 3.30am and 4am each night. Room was next to cleaners storage room so more noise at 6.45am. In the restaurant, the male waiting staff were running around - need to slow down and take their time. They collected dirty crockery by pushing a trolley around the restaurant. The waitress was able to collect by hand quite efficiently.

Pros: Our stay in hotel Nautico was for 6 nights and we were satisfied with the comfort of the our room, with the hotel staff (with their basic knowledge of English language but they were very friendly and it was not a problem to make basic conversation) and with the distance to the city center (10-12 minutes by walk) and to the Playa Teresitas (7-10 minutes by bus). Highly recommended place.

Quiet for the central location. No aircon like most Tenerife hotels. No car park. Reasonable price. 4.5 out of 5. I would return.

There was however a fridge which was handy. You could also here pretty much anything through the walls and ceiling.

Pros: The location is right in the centre of Santa Cruz. 50 metres from the main shopping street. There are loads of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The tramway is about 150 metres and there are bus stops even closer, A great location if you are meeting a cruise ship and fancy a couple nights in Tenerife. c

Cons: The picture above is not the Pelinor. The Pelinor has a zig-sag frontage, not a flat one shown in the picture. The rooms are not double glazed and there is a lot of noise throughout the night.
