Pros:
Casa Turista San Andrés is located at a very nice neighborhood, with nearby supermarkets and restaurants. Although its "far" from the most touristic spots (beaches, shops, etc.), its a 10/15 minute walk away from the main beach.
Cons:
The mattress wasn't very good and we both left with sore backs.

Pros:
Good bed, close to airport, cheap for San Andres.
Cons:
This Casa is in a place where many people share the communal outside area. We just wanted a good night of sleep as our flight left early. Unfortunately the people where having a party untill twelve. My earplugs didn't help either. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Pros:
Location was good.
Cons:
Aircon insanely cold, and it’s either on or off. No changing he temperature. Bed sheets are far too old and small, fall completely off after 1hr in bed. Then your on the old scummy mattress. Shower full of sand despite cleaner just finishing up. No hand soap. Room and bathroom very small, with very low door frame. Hit my head twice. Paid during check in, but the guy didn’t have the 10k change. Said we’d get it later. On check out we told the other guy about it and we had to wait around half an hour for them to sort it out. We ended up on the phone to the owner. No communication.

Pros:
We had enough area for everything. To have a kitchen and a fridge was very good. Although we booked a shared bathroom, the room next to us was empty so the whole apartment was just for us. Our flight was at 2:30 am in the night. We could checkout in the morning and leave our luggages in reception and go to the beach whole day. Later on they allowed us even to take a shower, which was awesome! We picked up our luggage at night and went to the airport.
Cons:
The bathroom wasn’t in a very top quality. The coach in the common area was very dusty. But they didn’t disturb us that much.

Pros:
Kitchen is well equipped. Location is in walking distance to the airport, to the main beach and to a big supermarket. You don’t need to take a taxi. They have their own scooter rental (80.000 $ a day) to explore the island on your own which we recommend. WiFi was slow but worked.
Cons:
Contact to the staff was not very personal. Nobody was around when we arrived and left. We always had to search for someone when we needed anything. General advice: if you don’t like mass tourism and duty free shopping you will have a much better holiday experience on Providencia which is completely the opposite of San Andrés.

Pros:
From the moment we arrived the hosts were friendly and welcoming and check-in was seamless. The living arrangement was a mix of apartments and hostel rooms in a locked private courtyard. Although that meant living in close proximity to local families, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had a private double room and shared bathroom, both of which were extremely clean with a no shoes and no sand policy. Towels were provided and fresh linen was offered mid-week. Air- con in room was a blessing. When we enquired about activities on the island, a chap was sent to meet us straight away and subsequently we arranged motorcycle rental with the option to embark on numerous other excursions.
Cons:
Our room didn’t come with kitchen facilities. Bed was propped up on a wooden platform which did mean we got the occasional flurry of ants joining us in bed.
